Here are some definitions that should help you on your way.

Actors:
What you shall be playing as, the main characters of this little RP. Actors are humans who have been given the job of protecting humanity from the dusk. There are many factions that normal humans can be invited into, and once they join they become actors. Actors draw upon there powers from different things in everyday life. For example, the headphone Actors only have power while listening to music. Water Actors only have power when wet, etc. Every faction is led by a Goddess, only that Goddess can imbue normal humans with their powers and turn them into Actors.

Specialized power/ Actor power/ Climax:
All Actors, no matter what faction, will always receive a boost in power, endurance, speed, reaction time and the works. The boost differs from person to person, and the stronger of mind, body and heart the Actor is, the bigger the boost. However, every actor has their own unique power as well. Such as fire manipulation, being able to grow in size, etc. A Climax is something unique to a Headphone Actor. A Climax is a surge of power, brought on upon by a certain song that differs from Headphone Actor to Headphone Actor. During the Climax a Headphone Actors power is brought to it's current peak for a short time. The Headphone Actor also unlocks a secondary, and powerful, skill.

Headphone Actor:
This, is you. You shall be making a Headphone Actor. The Headphone Actors gain access to there powers while listening to music. Most commonly, the these Actors use devises such as MP3s and headphones to use their powers but that is not the most effective way. It works, and works well, but though other more challenging ways, a Headphone Actor can obtain more power.

Live:
Rather then listening to music though headphones, if a song is played by real instruments a Headphone Actor can draw more power from it.

Echo:
If the same song is coming from mutable sources at the same time, a Headphone Actors power will multiply. The more sources playing at once, the stronger the Headphone Actor becomes.

Sync:
When two Headphone Actors listen to the same song at the exact same time they sync with each other. They are able to communicate telepathically, know their exact position and what they are seeing/ doing. While two Headphone Actors are synced, they basically become one person in two bodies, forming a symbiotic relationship.

Maximum volume:
The louder the music, the more power a Headphone actor can draw from it. When using an MP3 player, a Headphone Actor can raise the volume to raise there power. However, once the volume gets past 50% it starts to damage the Headphone actors ability to hear. As a Headphone Actors hearing becomes damaged, they lose the ability to draw as much power from music. At 100% a Headphone Actor can expect to lose their ability to hear, permanently. A Headphone Actor with music at 100% cannot sync with another Headphone Actor.

A Headphone Actor can even draw power from simple drum beats and in dire situations, they can draw power from the beat of their own heart.

Ranks:
There are a total of 30,000 Actors world wide, and they are ranked by power from numbers 30,000 to

1, with rank 1 being the strongest Actor and 30,000 being the weakest. Factions are also ranked. There are a total of 30 factions, the Headphone Actor faction is ranked at 26.​
