Weighing in at around 175 pounds, Rico clearly does not miss too many meals. Do not let the number on the scale fool you, though. Part of that is tech and the rest is muscle. She is fit, toned and ready for a fight.



Ethnic Origin: Claims to be Italian. Really unknown.
Parents’ Names & Occupations: They say Rico's mother's name was Becka. She was known in some neighborhoods for illegal, undocumented upgrades. At the age of 28, Becka was murdered in an alley. Many, including the police, think it occurred during a deal gone wrong. Rico was six years old at the time.

Education: Street smarts. Formal education was limited during childhood. Often opted out of school to try and sling cyborg parts to make a few extra bucks.



Occupation/Employer: Anyone looking to hire some muscle. Those seeking a thief, otherwise known as a retrieval specialist.

Community Status: Known in many circles as someone of questionable dealings.

Rico lives a life filled with risky behaviors, living in the moment and driven by action. For better or worse, she could be equated to the eye of a storm. Her personality makes anything with a structure or organized environments a challenge. Not so much because she lacks the intelligence for these endeavors but is unable to deal with regimented, formal situations.


Ambitions: Fix her implant if she lives long enough.



Fears/Anxieties/Hangups:


Touchy about being viewed as weak because she is a female. Also fearful of being viewed as overly masculine. Struggles greatly with finding the balance between the two. Secretly fears that one day her subpar interface will cause her to go crazy and there will be no one that will care for her.



Health/Physical Condition/Upgrades: Rico lost her left arm when she was about 10 years old. Being underage at the time, left few legitimate forms of employment. Her hand became jammed between two gears and the operators did not hear her cries. The manufacturing process continued and the mechanism dragged her arm in, snaring it up to the elbow. Rico's blood curling screams finally caught the attention of the factory workers but the issue still remained, she was pinned. If they went to seek help, they would have to answer for why she was even there. The shift manager made the call and severed Rico's arm just above the elbow. A tourniquet made from a belt and filthy clothes was slapped over the wound and she was dragged out of the factory. Infection spread and amputation was required taking most of the shoulder with it. For better or worse, Rico got good at pick pocketing, gambling and other means of thievery with only one arm. Between what she was able to 'earn' and a loan from a shark, Rico was able to pay for a first class black market cybernic arm and eye at age 20. The visual implant comes with a chip that interfaces with her mind and other computer systems. However, several years after having the work done, Rico found out that the implant is faulty and known to cause its user to go mad because of mental synapses over firing or burning out. To this day, Rico has been unable to afford an upgrade to correct the implant with a more secure chip.

She has ebony hair and piercing blue eyes, usually surrounded by a layer of heavy eye makeup. She looks extremely feminine. She's not very fit, but she's very attractive.
Ethnic Origin: French ancestors. Born in America.
Parents’ Names & Occupations: Linda's mother's name is Placide. Both she and Linda's father work for Genesis, giving Linda a pretty good home life when she was growing up. Her father's name is Amour, though Linda believes that he knows nothing of love. Her parents, especially Amour, always kept their jobs very private. Linda has never trusted her parents.
Social Class: Previously upper, currently the higher end of the lower class.
Education: Graduated high school. Learned how to hack by searching the dark web. Her parents wished she would've gone to college.
Occupation/Employer: Professional hacker. She works freelance, hacking into anything from cheating husbands' private messages to bank accounts for large businesses.
Employer’s Social Class: Depends. Usually mid to lower class.
Community Status: Known as the daughter of Placide and Amour Masson who threw her life away.
Job-Related Skills: Extremely good with computers, hacking, coding, keeping things secret, using/tracking cryptocurrency, some thievery.
Hobbies/Recreations: Watching Japanese anime. Using rollerblades for fun and as for a mode of transportation.​

Personal Qualities: Industrious, somewhat manipulative, stubborn, independent, spontaneous, courageous, overbearing.
Ambitions: Figure out what Genesis is really up to.
Fears/Anxieties/Hangups: Terrified that Genesis is not really out to help the human race. Scared that her curves and pretty face will get her into trouble when she's traveling around the city. Wishes she could trust her parents. Confused about her sexuality.​

Health/Physical Condition/Upgrades: Linda was born without her arms due to a condition called Holt-Oram Syndrome. Her parents didn't hesitate to fix it, paying for cybernetic arms and replacing them whenever she outgrew her old ones. She also experiences minor heart issues. She went through a lot of physical therapy when she was younger. Luckily, this helped her heart become stronger. She can now even enjoy physical activity, though palpitations may occur. Linda never tries to push her body too hard. Rollerblading is really the only exercise that Linda gets. She prefers to stay inside. Linda is not one to get in physical fights, even though she lives a life where that's a big possibility. When Linda was thirteen, her parents paid for an advanced cybernetic eye. The implant allowed her to keep her original vision and also access a series of networks through her mind. This, to her parents' dismay, is what allowed Linda to become so good at hacking. They ultimately paid thousands of dollars for their daughter to turn against them and become a criminal.​

Nicknames: Fearmongers, The Unsettled, Uncivilized Fools.

Address: The HLF operates throughout the lower districts of the city but their main base of operation is an abandoned apartment complex on the West corner of Haven.

Physical description: While being composed of men and women of many ethnic backgrounds, the basic appearance of an HLF member is nearly identical. Given their lowly social status, many HLF operatives are malnourished, lanky characters with little to no muscle tone. They wear ragged street clothing and often wear various handmade cloth masks to conceal their identities. Most members of this organization are very young and, therefore, have very childish features. No member of the HLF has any sort of cybernetic implant.

Social Class: The HLF is made up predominantly of the lowest of the lower class, although some of members of the higher class give them monetary support.

Education: Most, if not all, of the HLF have no formal education. They were raised on the street and learned how to get by from experience.

Occupation/Employer: The HLF is under the leadership of the mysterious "Citizen Rey," a charismatic, yet ruthless gangboss who leads them into battle against the Haven's peacekeeping forces and upper class. They exist as an opposition to Genesis, the Haven, and cybernetics.

Employer's Social Class: Lower class.

Community Status: Certain circles within the lower and middle class see the HLF as a source of good. However, many in the upper class and military see them as nothing more than violent extremists.

Job related skills: Members of the HLF are usually recruited off of the street at very young ages and are schooled in the ways of hand-to-hand combat, self-defense, theivery, and espionage. Given that weapons of any sort are hard to come by for people in their position, no specialized weapons training exists within the organization; instead, members are encouraged to master whatever weapon they can scrounge, whether it be a bludgeon, knife, or secondhand pistol.

Hobbies/Recreations: While they are a paramilitary organization with a staunch oppostion to many of the Haven's laws, the HLF are still people and enjoy all the passtimes. that others in the Haven do. They play sports, watch tv, read books, and play videogames.

Personal Qualities: Staunch, Crafty, Driven, in some instances Kind.

Ambitions: To see the end of Genesis and the Haven.

Fears/Anxieties/Hangups: The HLF are terrified of those with cybernetics and will often group up together when having to traverse through territory where cybernetics users frequently travel. Theu also have an inherent distrust of any sort of government, finding centralized rule to be the stepping stones to authroritarianism.

Health/Physcial Condition: The HLF are not the best in terms of health. Many of their members are either poorly fed or suffer from diseases that doctors are either unable or unwilling to treat.

Really looks good to me. My only nit picky thing would be swapping out the verb-age High school. My idea of this world is that while they have schooling, its nothing like schooling as we traditionally know it today. It would be more private group classes for upper class children. Schooling for low class would be more random people in the neighborhood slapping together a classroom in someone's living room. There is little focus on formal traditional education, more focus on trade skills.

Only a couple concerns. Age is the biggest one. I think he would need to be older for the rest of him to work. Rough timeline we are working with is:

Formal education would have still been underway until post impact phase. He could have formal agent clearance but that would mean he works or worked for Genesis as a military operative or scientist. I am honestly reviewing this on mobile while traveling at the moment. These look good my only concern is that birth place. 20 years since Haven closed its door makes it possible for them to be born else where but seeing we are in US Haven and the world was falling apart about the time they were born, there has to be some epic story as to them getting to this Haven.
