You live in a world where Light is evil and Darkness is good. The people believe that Light is good and are trying to encourage Keyblade wielders of light to form Unions of Light to rid the Darkness. In this universe the Darkness doesn't want to take over, it wants to keep balance of Light and Darkness but the Light isn't making it easy. So, out of desperation useing the power of Darkness they created dark beings. They called them, Heartless. With the Heartless under their control they went to work on keeping the balance. However, the ones of the Light took out most of the Heartless they created. The ones of the Dark were starting to become desperate. They used all their power to store the Darkness away somewhere safe, The Realm of Darkness they called it. Shortly after the Darkness was sealed away the Light completely took over, there was no more Darkness. Until a group of rebels began to train in the Dark Arts. They hope to release the Darkness in the lost Realm of Darkness and bring balance again to the world.

Vivian moved through the crowded streets without much effort. The city had been swarming with traders and merchants looking to capitalize on the coming holiday to get some overly drunk fool to pay the outrageous prices they were offering their wares at. Vivian sighed as one of the merchants tried to get her attention with an overly jeweled necklace. The gaudy thing was probably fake, unless this man was a fool looking for his valuables to be stolen.

Ducking out of the overbearing merchant’s view, Vivian moved into a small bar. The air was warm and far to stuffy to those who only came from other cities, but to her this little space was like a second home. Sitting at the bar at the back of the restaurant, Vivian watched as the older bartender moved around dealing with the influx of customers. She could hear other patrons discussing the festival. The festival of light was a week long event hosted in radiant garden. It was a time that people were happy and all was joyous, at least if you feel in line with the light. Usually there was always threats from those who believed in the dark above all else, but with the fourth day coming in the morning without any indecent. It was looking as if this would be a happy festival without a tragedy or at least Vivian hoped.

The one who would crash the festival however woke... standing up? now that's weird. He came to standing in what could only be stated as pure darkness. He could barely differentiate whether he was upright or not as he tried to gain his bearings. however what he knew... once again for no reason in particular, that forward was the way out of this place and as he gave up trying to understand and walk forwards he soon came across a brighter area, something not as dark. It didn't take him long to walk through an almost blinding light to his destination.

Outside Vivian could hear concerned murmurs which were growing more panicked by the minute. the cause of this disturbance in the joyous festival of light... was that what looked to be a giant dark portal appeared in the middle of the plaza. A dark ominous thing that was exuding enough darkness that anyone skilled could feel it when coming into the plaza. Things soon reached a fever pitch as a young man walked out of the dark portal, it closing behind him as he was completely covered in darkness, it looking like it was some sort of incomplete armour.

Vivian heard the joyous noise turn to concerned murmuring, and then to total silence. Waring bells ran off in her head; the festival of light was a joyous and noisy time. Even at night the party never stopped, and for there to silence for this long meant something was horribly wrong. Vivian threw a few coins down and ran for the door. Moving out of the secluded restaurant, she saw a crowd around the center of the plaza.

She pushed through the crowd of nervous looking people. The closer to the center she got the more pale and scared the people became. Mothers were holding their children close and the few armed civilians put there hands on their weapons. Shoving past them, Vivian finally got a look at the thing that had been causing such a disturbance. It was a young man that seemed to be covered in shadows. They moved along his body and seemed to form amour around certain areas of the man's body.

The man had some form of training in the dark, and he probably wasn't there to enjoy to festival. Vivian drew her blades and spoke commandingly "Why are you here, dweller of darkness?"

Storm was walking through different murky alleyways in the city, even though it was day dangers still lurk. Storm was almost robbed the other day because of the alleyway but luckily she knew magic and managed to get out of the situation.

While she hated the Realm of Light and the stupid Festival of Light for what they did to the Darkness Storm had to stay there, much to her discomfort. I can’t wait until it get dark out... she thought as she got to the main square of the city.

A rather large commotion has arisen there. Stopping, Storm looked to the ground where her Heartless companion, Shade twitching much more than he usually would. Most likely it was the intense Light here.

“Shade go back to the Darkness this may get rough.” Storm commanded the tiny Heartless.

Shade melted to the ground, he would come back when the moon rises. Storm advanced towards the gathering of people, while she couldn’t make what was happening she however could see two people in the middle. One with blades and one that was surrounded with dark energy. This can’t be good.

Honestly the young man was confused at how the people were just staring at him... they looked really afraid even though his body wasn't that threatening in the first place and he didn't do anything so far. he hadn't done anything yet and still people were scared... wait has anyone ever been scared of him? from what he could tell he was too much of a weirdo to be scary. he for some reason stood there a fair bit just thinking so by the time he was going to speak, Vivian called out to him... dewller of darkness? "what are you talking about?" he did get nervous as soon as he saw the blades, lowering his body in a... very weak defensive position which didn't last long as he saw the darkness on his hands and just blankly stared at it. "oh... the dark stuff is still there, that makes sense." with that he stood up. "so. I have no idea what is happening either. my neighborhood was swarmed by dark beings, seemed to be killing people, I tried to fight them off, black stuff got on me, I was swarmed then BOOM! dark stuff covers me like now and I can actually fight those things... until I get pulled up into a black hole thing... how the hell am I still alive?" and he's just rambling about what happened to him, very weird.

The rouge looked over with an impassive expression at the developing scene in the Central Square of Radiant Gardens; there stood a teenager seeping with inky darkness and some plucky blond haired woman to most likely bash the threat into the cobblestone floors. Looked like the situation was dealt with to him. There was little chance he would have offered any assistance even if Vivian hadn't been present, but having someone there to distract a crowd was nothing he would complain about. As the shopkeeper he was dealing with looked on at the two figures with tense attention, Cyn soundlessly reached over the counter and grabbed another handful of ether, adding it to the small sack of the glowing sea blue cubes he'd already purchased. "Looks like the festival of light casts some pretty big shadows, huh?" the man commented with a lax smile as he tucked the pouch of purchased goods into one of the inner pockets of his coat, elbow resting on the wooden counter of the shop. The joke was taken to be in poor taste, but the stocky shopkeeper simply twitched his mustache in irritation and replied that the situation would be dealt with promptly by either the castle guard or one of the many warriors of light the event surely attracted.

Storm

“Screw this...” Storm muttered. This situation wasn’t worth her safety or her Heartless. Making her way out of the crowd slowly, she could sense the presence of Heartless approaching. Not many but she could sense them.

“I hope they don’t come out.” Storm shook her head and walked more to the shopping district. For some reason unknown she didn’t feel safe, she felt like she was being watched. Storm summoned her Keyblade without hesitation. She was prepared to cast Reflega at any movement.

The man watched in passing a teal haired teen who had wandered their way into the Marketplace with a tense expression on her face. Which was... Odd. Wasn't the battle of light and darkness or whatever going on in the Central Square? What, was she seeing ghosts or simply going through a high school breakup? Teens were known to be... Irritating moody after all. He certainly was before he left Daybreak Town, though he also suffered from the incorrect assumption that he'd become any better a person since then. Still, the kid's stiff pose of high alert was... Curious. Certainly, there wasn't another catastrophe going on at this festival, was there? It was then that Storm drew her Keyblade and started pointing it around in various different directions. Immediately a potent sensation of distaste fell upon him and all interest in the situation was lost. He wasn't getting involved with the business of a riled up Keyblade wielder. No way, no how, good day sir. Cyn straightened up his posture and turned to head further into the rows of stalls and merchants. Restocking the Gummi Ship did require one hell of a shopping trip, after all. He threw a very large mesh bag over his armored shoulder and used a few slender fingers from his free hand to push down the tip of Diamond Dust a couple inches as he passed the weapon by, making a conscious effort not to let his eyes meet the kid's.

Vivian looked at the boy with a unsure gaze. His story made some modicum of sense. It wasn't uncommon for people to be thrown to other worlds once their's had been devoured by the dark, but that didn't explain the inky shadows that seemed to protect the boy. She could hear the crowd becoming more concerned about something else. She turned around to spot a teal haired woman moving through the crowd confidently, but what was the concerning part, was the fact that the woman was wielding a keyblade.

Moving back to boy on the ground, "Here." Vivian held out her hand. "Quickly, something bad is going to happen. If you want help take it or leave it."

Aaron was also confused as the woman seemed to turn back at what was going on... honestly she seemed to make as much sense of his situation as he was. The crowd were all now not worrying about him but what Vivian was looking at which concerned him. the concern skyrocketed as she gave up questioning him as she said something bad would happen and asking to help him... yeah fuck this if whatever back there made vivian concerned for his safety. "yeah not going to risk what would make me too little of concern" and he grabbed her hand

Storm

Storm looked around more, she’s causing people to be more alert and frightened. Great, just great... she thought. Storm knew she was being hunted because ones of the Darkness shouldn’t use Keyblades. To Storm it was stupid, but people these days are very judgmental. “Where are you?! I know you’re here!” Storm yelled.

Just then two men in white cloaks appeared. One had a Keyblade, the other had a sword. “Surrender to the Light!” the one with the Keyblade yelled. The Keyblade man shot an aura ball of light at Storm. “Never! Reflega!” she called. A magenta barrier surrounded Storm. The ball disintegrated against the spell. Storm retaliated, “Thundaga.” Several lightning bolts came down. The two men took a bit of damage, the thunder spell also destroyed the pavement and some shops. The man with the Keyblade charged Storm. The two Keyblade welders clashed as the sword welder attempted to slash her several times. Storm usually retaliated with Firaga, Blizzaga and Thundaga. Storm didn’t have time to deal with these guys. She needed to defeat them quickly.

(OCC: The white cloak people are the “bad guys” in this)

There was a clamor of shouting voices and the fierce crackle of thunder colliding with sheets of magic behind him. For a brief moment, Cyn paused in his walking with an expression of mildly torn contemplation. Helping a target of those white-coated zealots was a crime in itself, not that he was all that tempted to give his aid to a Keyblade wielder anyways... Still, the masochist in him wanted to watch the fight. What harm could come from spectating from a distance, really? And so the rogue turned his head and then the rest of his body to spectate Storm's little scuffle, his arms folding over his bare chest. "This divide between Keyblade wielders is rather idiotic. To get that sort of weapon in the first place you need to have some sort of decency of heart. Whether it's the sterile 'goodness' of the light or the more self-honest feelings of suffering and anger associated with the darkness. If you have that weapon it's an undeniable sign that you have the capacity in you to be virtuous. Then again... If that's the case, why don't I have one?" the man thought bitterly, looking down at the glove that obscured his hand mangled by a magical artifact.

What storm seemed to forget about the spell she cast was that reflect not only negated the damage of attacks but also sent the damage back in a retalliatory magic strike. However the spell reflega was the highest level spell and the spell she shouldn't have used in this situation as it had a large retalliation range. Ryth could see as the people parted for the battle though, that one of the reflega's blasts would hit a civillian and, thinking on his own, he charged fowards, his dash sped up by the darkness that seemed to intuitively aid him, to grab the young boy and move them away from reflega's blast radius
