Fun Fact: Kefir's father, whose name he doesn't care to know, held an affinity for water manipulation. By contrast, the Kumertoff family is known for their manipulation of script, literature, and general enhancement of words.

Age: 295 earth-years

Background: Kefir is the third son of a rather prestigious - and "old" - Kalkarian family in the southern hemisphere of the planet. Unlike his elder brothers, however, he is not of "pure" Kumertoff blood. His mother, who has since given to birth a daughter with similar circumstances to his own, was engaged in an affair at the time of his conception. As a result, he possesses only a partial manifestation - and, indeed, a unique variation of - the abilities characteristic to his family line. This fact, when coupled with his blonde hair and golden eyes - far different than the dark tones sported by his elder siblings and relatives - led to his reclusive tendencies as a child.

Although he keeps in touch with his family, who, despite his mixed blood, never threw him out, Kefir has taken to living and traveling on his own. His affinity for and interest in art and literature have made cultural hubs his frequent haunts, though this could also be the lasting influence of his former mentor and teacher, Hamil.

General Abilities:

Ink Manipulation - Kefir is able to create, shape, and otherwise manipulate ink to his will.

Ink Mimicry - A variant of Ink Manipulation through which Kefir transforms his body into an "ink state". In other words, his physical form becomes composed of ink.

Ink Animation - A variant of Ink Manipulation by which Kefir imbues sentience to ink drawings and illustrations.

Projected Thermography - A variant of Ink Manipulation in which Kefir can imprint ink marks/writing on surfaces without the use of physical tools.

Sonography - By feeling ink impressions on surfaces, Kefir can "read" what is written without the use of his eyes.

Advanced Constitution - Compared to a human, Kefir's physical and mental capabilities - and capacities - are far more advanced.

Fun Fact: Though not shown in the picture, Andrea has a pair of hazel eyes that border on green. There is also an intricate tattoo, obtained in the wake of her new-found abilities, that resides on her back. It is a mesh of interlocking shapes and designs, all utilizing black ink, with no real subject in mind. As she cannot create her own ink, this has come to serve as an ever-present source for her use.

Background: Originally from a farming community in the western reaches of Wyoming, Andrea spent her youth laboring on the family farm alongside her brothers, Philip and Paul. In those days, most of her free time - few and far between as such moments were - was spent in the company of her sketchbook and pens. Indeed, although familiar and comfortable enough with her family profession, the woman has never possessed the drive and passion necessary for life and work on a farm in her adult life. Her interests lay elsewhere - and always have.

Despite her family's mixed support, the brunette packed her bags and left her home at the tender age of eighteen. Her destination was a center of urban sprawl and the renowned "Big Apple" itself: New York City. Once settled in the concrete metropolis, she began taking classes at a local college and working nights shifts at a part-time job. The sleep was little and the stress high, but Andrea managed to pull herself through with each passing day. Now well on her way to pursuing a career in architecture and urban design, she can't help but feel confident in facing whatever life might decide to throw her way. That is - so long as she forgets the Kalkarian who refuses to leave her side.

Gained Abilities:

Ink Manipulation
- With this ability, Andrea can manipulate ink that exists within a 20-meter radius of her person. Tattoos, printed media, and writing/drawing utensils utilizing ink are not excluded from her influence, nor does she always have to keep an eye on it during its use. Thus far, she can give the ink under her control movement, alter its viscosity - that is, switching its state of matter between a solid, liquid, and in-between form - and change its color. When utilizing this ability, she relies on mental focus to channel her will into the ink and arm/hand/body movements to direct its movement. The most common forms/examples of her manipulation are as follows:

Melanokinetic Combat - The fusing of her Ink Manipulation with physical combat. The most prominent of Andrea's attacks, still in development as they are, are listed below:

Ink Bullets - Small, condensed orbs or shards of ink projected at notable velocity in the direction(s) of Andrea's command. They are limited to a 20-meter radius, as her influence does not reach further at this time.

Ink Binding - In which Andrea sends a film of ink across the ground to reach - and cover - an opponent's feet. Once contact is made, she hardens its viscosity. Should enough ink be present, there exists a possibility for her to cover and lock - be it larger portions or the entirety of - an opponent's body in place. (This can also be used to halt movement in air, so long as the ink is lifted from the ground in enough time - and volume - to stop forward movement.)

Ink Cloak - A covering of ink - usually around her arms and/or legs - that Andrea utilizes in close combat situations. She is known to solidify and liquefy it at will, going so far as to eject portions of it into her opponent's face when the need arises.

Ink Infiltration - This technique is experimental in nature at the current time, though some of its applications are still utilized. In an action reminiscent of the freeze-thaw process found in nature, Andrea can fit her ink into cracks and crevices found in brittle objects. (Take, for instance, a stone.) From there, she hardens, pools, and expands it, enlarging the fissures, and thereby causing the object of her focus to splinter and break under her influence. Similarly, she harbors the potential to infiltrate foreign, living, bodies with her ink and instigate a form of asphyxiation by blocking air ways.

Ink Jet - A highly pressurized jet of liquid ink that can be used to push back opponents and objects. Should it be pressurized enough, there is potential for it to cause internal bruising at its current state. Andrea, however, is still figuring out the consistency needed for such an event to occur.

Ink Knife - By momentarily thinning, sharpening, and hardening the edge of a stream of ink in movement, Andrea can use it to cut. (In a similar fashion, she can sharpen the tip of a stream of ink into a fine point. By effect, it would stab rather than cut.)

Ink Shield - With a cutting, upward movement of her arms, Andrea can position ink in front of her as one would a shield. For it to be effective, she must harden its viscosity. (She is attempting to work on a technique in which she liquefies the shield during an attack to encompass her opponent - assuming he/she/it is in direct contact with the shield - before hardening it again to lock them in place. It is an arduous task however, and timing is often everything.)

Ink Spike - By coalescing the ink under her control, Andrea can form a large spike that protrudes from the ground or a varying number of similar constructs. The viscosity of the spike(s) is determined by the situation of its use.

Ink Whip - A tendril of ink, often used in a lashing motion, whose size, shape, and length depend on the focus and energy being placed into it.

Please Note: All of Andrea's attacks and manipulations require a degree of energy, control, and focus. None have reached their full potential and a good few are still lacking. Those that involve an alteration in viscosity, as opposed to those that do not, apply more readily to the latter.
Ink Constructs - By shaping and solidifying the ink under her control, Andrea can create tools, weapons, and other inanimate objects. The permanence of these creations fluctuates with her focus and energy, as larger, more complex constructs require a good deal of both. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the shape and consistency of these constructs - be they a reconstruction of a real-life item or something of her own design - depends on Andrea's imagination and ability to picture them in her mind. Thankfully, years of sketching and advanced architect studies have honed the brunette's ability to do just that.

Throwing Daggers - As Andrea's practice and familiarity with weapons is lacking, she has taken to constructing throwing daggers to work with her above-mentioned flaws and mediocre aim.

Model Houses/Buildings/Structures - An architect at heart, Andrea constructs such objects to keep in touch with her passion and practice the molding/creation of fine, intricate details.

Miscellaneous Tools - Practice never hurts; the more she tries to make, the easier - and better - the task becomes.
Ink Animation - Andrea is able to give a level of sentience to pre-drawn animals and creatures, though the amount and size of said animals and creatures are of an inverse relationship. When working with small animations, such as mice or stick figures, the brunette holds the capacity to create approximately five "beings". Their existence span - that is, how long they last once imbued with sentience - is longer than that of larger animations; however, they tend to be far weaker in durability by comparison. On the other hand, her larger animations - approximating to the size of a dog or boar at the current time - are far sturdier, but much shorter lived. In addition, she can only "summon" one - or two, should her energy and focus permit - of these at a time. These creatures, while sentient, still operate according to Andrea's will. They can be either two or three-dimensional, with the later requiring more on behalf of the caster, and make no sound as they lack organs and, by extent, vocal cords.


Projected Thermography - So long as she has the ink available and ready for use, Andrea can imprint it upon surfaces without the use of pencil, pen, brush or other such tool. The more permeable and ink-friendly, the surface, the easier it is for her to accomplish this feat. For this reason, skin, paper, and fabric are the brunette's favored mediums. Her own tattoo, which spans the surface of her back, was created using this technique.
Sonography - Due to her affinity for ink and its properties, Andrea has developed a limited ability to "read" the impressions it leaves behind during the printing/writing process. Her fingers must be in physical contact with the writing for the ability to work - if anything, the process is akin to a person reading braille - though the use of her eyes is not necessary. So long as the text exists in a language she understands - and is written on paper, parchment, or another similar surface - she has the capacity to understand what it says.

Name: Kaizer Bodkin

Age: 512 years old

Background: In a relatively large, tropical island in planet Kalkar known as Bodkin, there lives a group of special fighters known simply as The Bodkins. The island is well known to be a producer of the highest caliber martial artists and athletes in all of Kalkar. So great is their reputation that the local ruler in a nearby country of the island visited them to learn their secrets to their martial and athletic success. The Bodkins use a variety of training methods to train their children in the art of combat and athletics. Mozer Bodkin, the father of Kaizer, trained his son as soon as he hit 20 earth years (which is ONE Kalkarian year). Kaizer proved to be a gifted fighter, excelling in all manners of styles and athletic endeavours. So great was his potential that the Bodkins decided to send him off to Kalkar's Military Academy, to become a defender of Kalkar herself against invaders (but only after his intensive training in the island, of course.). In the next 480 earth years, which is the year Kaizer officially became a man (at least in the eyes of his clan.), Kaizer achieved his peak level of fitness and fighting prowess. At that time, he was squatting a barbell with a weight equivalent to 50,000 pounds in Earth's gravity, bench pressing half of that, and has the sprinting speed 50 times faster than Earth's cheetah. Those standards, even by Bodkin's, were phenomenal. Kaizer became known as the strongest, fastest, and most combat-adept person to ever come out of the island, exceeding even his own father.

In about over half a Kalkarian year later, the Kalkarian Military Force issued an order of conscription to recruit both willing and unwilling Kalkarians to be sent to planet Earth to defend against a force of demonkind. Kaizer eagerly joined...

General abilities: Incredible physical strength and speed. Mastery of hand-to-hand combat. Incredible body durability (strong bones and strong skin)

Name: Jim Kawasaki

Age: 21

Background: In the year 1996 when youtube didn't even exist, there was a boy born in Idaho, USA who came to be known as "The Lightning" in the world of sports and martial arts. Even at a young age, The Lightning, or Jim, showed an unbelievable delight in all-things violent. He started getting into fights with boys older than him when he was only 6 years old. Frustrated, his dad, who was the CEO of Walmart, and who happened to be Japanese, enrolled his son to a local karate club. The club was ran by a professional mixed-martial arts fighter who had an eye for talent in fighting. It didn't take more than a week for the club-owner to see the amazing potential of this 6-year old kid. The man recommended to the boy's father to also get him a gym membership and lift weights as soon as he hits puberty. The father complied...

Many years later, Jim "The Lightning" Kawasaki competed in the UFC for his very first match against a seasoned veteran of the sport. Dana White, founder of the UFC, saw firsthand what the kid was capable of. At a bodyweight of 170 pounds, he had a 700-pound raw squat, a 400-pound bench press, and sprinted faster than Usain Bolt. His striking speed rivaled that of Bruce Lee and ragdolled Brock Lesnar in a friendly wrestling match. Dana had to have this kid in his roster.

A few years later, at age 21, Jim became a legend, not just in martial arts, but in sports in general. He represented the United States in the Rio Olympics as a weightlifter, a sprinter, a wrestler, and a boxer...

Gained abilities: Squats 3200 pounds, bench presses 1650 pounds, and sprints 3-times faster than a cheetah. In addition to those, his body can't be easily damaged. His bones and skin are very durable.

Name: Hel Grechias

Sex: Female

Age: 445

Background: Hel was born and lived in a small city called Malachias founded within the equator of Kalkar for the majority of her life. Malachias is a much smaller city is mostly known for its large library - Dietrich. Her father was the Mayor of the city and his mother was a well-known retired veteran of the Military of Kalkar. Hel had a fascination with the history and diverse culture of Kalkar. Her father's side of the family had abilities that were widespread ranging from Shapeshifting to Hemokinesis. Hel was blessed by a strong affinity for True Vision and Space Manipulation, rare as they are.

However, because of this, she was soon was soon drafted by the Kalkarian Military Force unwillingly to be sent to planet Earth.

  • Space Manipulation - She can manipulate space, increasing it, decreasing it, and delete it.

Name: Joel Porter

Sex: Male

Age: 26

Background: Son of a famous lawyer and a local baker in Georgia, Joel grew up easily his family being quite wealthy. He had a relatively normal childhood, becoming quite good at baking and cooking with his mother teaching him. He seemed quite average overall. Most of his father's friends expected him to become as great as his father. Instead of pursuing a career as a lawyer he had become a police officer. He graduated in a nearby private college in 2012, and soon he had become a police officer to his father's dismay. During his time as an officer, he had built up a knife collection as a hobby, but soon became quite invested in them. Jeol had several years of experience in the force before his life was turned upside down by one Kalkarian.

Gained abilities:​
  • Memento Mori - For now he has access to one type of vision. This vision allows him to see what will lead/has lead to a death of someone/thing and if it is close to death, how long it will be until they/it dies. If something is in a state of undeath or is biologically immortal this power essentially becomes a cripple. 'Remember - Everything will die.'
  • Spatial Deletion - Joell can delete any type of space between two different points within space, allowing him to control the distance between two things. He can only delete the space between 100m right now.
    • Spatial Burst - Deleting a large amount of space creates a distortion building up immense spatial pressure which he directs towards the target crushing it. This technique takes up a lot of energy to where he can only do this about 5 times a day.
    • Instant Impact - Joel can keep his distance and instead delete space between where he has cut or hit to where his target is. He can only be at 50m and it gets progressively weaker.

Background: Naksha was a soldier, a warrior. She was as graceful with her lance as she was deadly. When she lost her right arm, her wielding arm, she was no longer all that defined her: what was a lance warrior without the ability to wield any weapon, let alone her lance? There was nothing else, or so she thought, as she wrapped herself up in robes to hide her incomplete body, she left for the outskirts where the wilderness grew free. It was here she recovered, and gained something more. For days without end, she tranced, neglecting her body, shutting out the physical world. And it was then she felt what within extend without. The fire within, the spark which drove her, that she could now concentrate, make dense as she pushed it together. It began to resonate, appear a soft, magenta color. It could stick onto the grass around or the branches above, harming nothing, just residing. Soon she learned if she intensified it, it would burn, or condense it, she could use it to wield the objects it stuck around.

Naksha lived her life like this. Rather than with her body, she used her inner flame, she lived and sustained through this, forgetting her loss. No, more than that, growing in the understanding that there was more ways to interact with the world about than with her physical body. With this knowledge, she did to return to the army, she did no more than stay there, in the wilderness, living out her days in peace, ever-growing in self-knowledge… until a familiar face of old stumbled upon her. It was then she learned of what the military needed, and though her old comrade told her this without thinking she could be of help, Naksha herself could not keep to her life the way it was with the knowledge of the demons’ actions. For the second time in her life, she left everything she knew, this time to rejoin the military.

Background: Born to privilege, Caliea was taught to be prim, proper, as delicate and as graceful as the petals upon a flower. She did not find this entirely desirable, but complied. A place where she could be less delicate was with fencing. Though the art of this weapon had a grace to it, she instead saw it as release. She was dealing with an opponent in the most straight-forward way she’d ever known. At times, it would grow intense, bordering near something akin to a feeling Caliea did not have a word for. Perhaps it was this her parents saw, or perhaps it was that they saw no use for it anymore, because they pulled her out of it. With it gone, she grew… restless inside. She had attempted a few roundabout conversations that’d meant to persuade her parents to keep her in fencing without hinting towards her own desire for it. It did not work. From there, it grew worse. Each grade she moved up it seemed they increased their stipulations. From which classes to take, to who to associate with. It had always been like so, but they added to it, restricting more. It was meant to groom her to become heir and taker of their wealth and assets, it did not come from a place of malice. So she went on, accepting this way of life.

It was her final year, a week or so before graduation, that she met her. What could Caliea describe her as other than wildfire. She lived life fully, ate it like she was starving every minute. It was by chance that they even crossed path, Caliea and the girl who called herself Bree. It was Bree who recognized her, calling her out. She remembered Caliea from all those years ago, from a match where Caliea had triumphed over her. Caliea couldn’t believe it. This girl with razzled hair and sparkling eyes seemed nothing like the fencers she had met. But Bree had stories. Videos. Her sharp, outspoken energy seemed to hone itself into the blade, it was like nothing else. Where fencing was release for Caliea, for Bree it was focus. Nothing made sense after this. She spent her days trying to stay on schedule, but instead found herself with Bree. Listening to stories, indulging Bree with her own stories (after heavy insistence on Bree’s part), taking to the town, singing in dark rooms where they ordered soft drinks, eating over-sugared candies at the second movie they’d hopped into though having only paid for one ticket. Then her nights, long since been scheduled to maximize amount of sleep for a bright day, became full with Bree instead. The city was something different at night, it was alive, it breathed a different way, smelled different, sounded different. It was the lights that Caliea was most taken with. The gleam and twinkle reminding her of light off a thin blade.

It would not last. Her late night runs caused her to miss most of her finals. Yet, she could not bring herself to feel guilt or regret. She knew, though, that soon her parents would know. They would be coming to her boarding school to see her graduate. Which she would not be doing, not with having missed every final. That afternoon, she packed what she could into a backpack and left her dorm room to find Bree. “The road trip you’re always speaking of...” Today, the day she's meant to graduate, the same day she turns 19, Caliea is nowhere to be found on school grounds.


Gained Abilities:

Intensity - Manipulating the inner flame just to the surface of her body to cause burn damage. As she is inexperienced, she cannot muster this intensity if the target she wishes to damage is not in touch range. The area which she concentrates on her body will appear to have a soft glowing layer of magenta light.

Lift - As she is better now at just manipulating the inner flame just out the surface of her body, she is able to wrap herself in it and lift herself off the ground. A sort of mix between levitation and flight, as it is slow now. She can use this on smaller targets to lift faster and more easily. The target looks to be surrounded in a layer of soft magenta light. She cannot lift objects larger than herself.

Iclyn, a frigid continent of Kalkar where the Nihar tribe take residence and through their ancestors who first claimed the land, they had modified their bodies to withstand the lethal climates of Iclyn to survive. As time goes by, the elder generations are slowly dying off leaving the next generations to come fore to take over their roles, which befalls on Achlys being one of the few chosen candidates to fulfill her father's place as chief of the Nihar tribe. Besides Achlys, there are her older siblings that are more than capable to takeover after their father's role but her father was more keen on Achlys to become head chief despite her apathetic behavior towards the heavy responsibility. As a child, Achlys was never interested in the tribe's well-being and was more adventurous unlike her closed family. She desired the ability to explore the world outside the vast ice of Iclyn.

When she was given that golden opportunity to get away from her responsibilities by Barnum's request for her assistance to save Earth. Achlys did not hesitate to take the offer and leave behind her strict lifestyle. She had nothing against her people but it never felt like a place she could call 'home' where Achlys could be who she wanted to be without someone to criticize her choices. Packing her belongings against her tribe's wishes, Achlys left her home-planet and with the rest of the other chosen Kalkarians to begin a new chapter to her grey-colored past.

ACHLYS' MIST
Hans has not completely mastered the arts of manipulating Achlys' mist but he got the hang of how to control the mist to take simple forms such as weapons and little creatures. They can take time to create giving them a wavy appearance, especially if he is trying to make an object have a physical form. Some examples Hans can do is;

{Illusions} to cover a certain object in mist and give it a new form to appear as though it is something else to others. This can work in many ways like masking someone's appearance or disguising locations.

{Transportation} the user - and other mist users - can transport themselves (via in mist).

{Mistforms} the mist can take a form, whether solid or not, and be used to trick others or aid the user in fights. Can be people, animals, or objects.

A Finnish-Japanese bar owner and ex-delinquent that was well-known around his town. Hans was born in Kuusamo, Finland, before he moved to Miyagi, Japan, at the age of 14, where he first started his troublesome reputation causing disruption everywhere he went. However, his rowdy days calmed down after he graduated from high school and pulled his act together. Hans was not much of a study-type person with his grades in class being quite poor (with the amount of absences and slacking off he's done, it's honestly amazing how he was able to graduate in time) so college was out of the question for him. With nothing in plan for his future, it looked quite bleak for Hans until a good friend of his hooked him up to work under their uncle's bar as a bartender.

In school, Hans was good at making friends and was quite popular even if he had a bad reputation. His friend believed he could really do well being a bartender especially with his charismatic appeal that seemed to charm many. Accepting the job, Hans was able to find something productive to do with his life. As he got used to his new job, Hans became intrigued to open his own bar and received many supporters willing to help him achieve his dream. It took him quite a lot of time to find a place and money to build his dream bar, but Hans managed to open his own business in no time at the age of 21.

Seeing his life had settled with something to keep Hans' days occupied, his parents were able to relax and be reassured that their son's future would be safe. Hans really did refined himself to become a diligent man who could take care of his own well-being, compared to his youthful days. He still has his wild side but reserved it for his good pals. He was, now, just your working human of society and would just go along with whatever gets thrown in his life but he never believed he would stumble into a completely different world that would, most likely, ever happen to a character in some fantasy storybook. The meeting was very unexpected and Hans thought that he may have watched too many movies to point of hallucinating, or he was being pulled into some strange dream, though the red-cloaked figure made sure he understood the situation. They needed his help in order to save Planet Earth from destruction.

Iclyn, a frigid continent of Kalkar where the Nihar tribe take residence and through their ancestors who first claimed the land, they had modified their bodies to withstand the lethal climates of Iclyn to survive. As time goes by, the elder generations are slowly dying off leaving the next generations to come fore to take over their roles, which befalls on Achlys being one of the few chosen candidates to fulfill her father's place as chief of the Nihar tribe. Besides Achlys, there are her older siblings that are more than capable to takeover after their father's role but her father was more keen on Achlys to become head chief despite her apathetic behavior towards the heavy responsibility. As a child, Achlys was never interested in the tribe's well-being and was more adventurous unlike her closed family. She desired the ability to explore the world outside the vast ice of Iclyn.

When she was given that golden opportunity to get away from her responsibilities by Barnum's request for her assistance to save Earth. Achlys did not hesitate to take the offer and leave behind her strict lifestyle. She had nothing against her people but it never felt like a place she could call 'home' where Achlys could be who she wanted to be without someone to criticize her choices. Packing her belongings against her tribe's wishes, Achlys left her home-planet and with the rest of the other chosen Kalkarians to begin a new chapter to her grey-colored past.

ACHLYS' MIST
Hans has not completely mastered the arts of manipulating Achlys' mist but he got the hang of how to control the mist to take simple forms such as weapons and little creatures. They can take time to create giving them a wavy appearance, especially if he is trying to make an object have a physical form. Some examples Hans can do is;

{Illusions} to cover a certain object in mist and give it a new form to appear as though it is something else to others. This can work in many ways like masking someone's appearance or disguising locations.

{Transportation} the user - and other mist users - can transport themselves (via in mist).

{Mistforms} the mist can take a form, whether solid or not, and be used to trick others or aid the user in fights. Can be people, animals, or objects.

A Finnish-Japanese bar owner and ex-delinquent that was well-known around his town. Hans was born in Kuusamo, Finland, before he moved to Miyagi, Japan, at the age of 14, where he first started his troublesome reputation causing disruption everywhere he went. However, his rowdy days calmed down after he graduated from high school and pulled his act together. Hans was not much of a study-type person with his grades in class being quite poor (with the amount of absences and slacking off he's done, it's honestly amazing how he was able to graduate in time) so college was out of the question for him. With nothing in plan for his future, it looked quite bleak for Hans until a good friend of his hooked him up to work under their uncle's bar as a bartender.
