B I O G R A P H Y
history_ ji soo is the oldest of five children and the only female out of all the kids in her family. she resides with her brothers and her parents in an small building located a few minutes walk from their fried chicken restaurant. being that there is so many smaller kids in her family, she has always been the one responsibilities have fallen upon. by day she's forced to do good in her academics while at night she goes home and takes care of her siblings before heading to the restaurant to work as a part time delivery girl. her only escape is the music that blasts in her ears while she moves from place to place on the small beat up motorbike that belongs to the business. of course it would make sense for her to fall so deeply in love with sechskies.
it might seem like she would have reason to complain, but she actually enjoys helping out her family. although her siblings make her want to thrust her head into a concrete wall sometimes, she loves all of them dearly and never hesitates to help out when she's asked. the current financial situation really hit them hard considering that they are a rather large family, thankfully by selling some of her valuable merchandise she was able to help out.

mi-na radiates confidence and poise no matter the situation. she does quite well under pressure, not one to show fear as she can be quite fearless. however, she absolutely hates getting her clothes dirty so no matter what, she does her best to avoid being dirty, sweaty, and sticky. mi-na would rather not get her hands dirty, like, at all. mi-na can be quite materialistic, preferring to get showered with attention, love, and gifts! no matter what it is, she absolutely loves receiving. but, don't be fooled, as much as she loves to get items, she's also generous with her items. though, the way she goes about it may be too haughty to people's liking. for example, if she misplaces her phone or purse, her go-to phrase is "oh, well, daddy can always buy me another one". mi-na is definitely a queen bee, wanting everyone to look up towards her as an "idol" of some sort or at least respect and acknowledge her presence no matter what anyone's doing. mi-na has to be in the know of everything. she will not be left behind in the dark and prefers to stay in touch with what's going around at school and elsewhere. mi-na, afterall, does want to become a writer - a journalist even.

born into old money, the kang family are and were rich. filthy rich. they bought lavish items and extravagant things for not only themselves but for their charity of their choosing - mostly to show off how "good" and "wonderful" they were. the kang family were always about their image and reputation. from the outside, everything was and is perfect about their family - no scandals, no greed, etc. the kang family spoiled their only daughter: mi-na by always granting her her wishes - giving her everything she could possibly want.
time passed and mi-na was treated as a princess. she grew up in an environment in which she could have whatever she wanted within a blink of an eye. she had her own private tutors until she reached the age where she wanted a social life outside of her household. in the end, mi-na reigned at her high-school - or at least tried to - as she made sure to let others know of their place where she was on "top of the food chain". many admired mi-na for her beauty but most knew of the sharp-tongue she held and the vainness in the young girl's ideals. regardless, mi-na found her love of fashion thanks to the fashion industry and her father's connections. she always asked for the best of the best and was influenced daily by different cultures and expectations.

If you were to ask anyone about him, the initial reaction would be "that tiny baseball player?" or something of the sort. Some see him as a bit lacking in the physique department to be playing baseball, but he makes up for what he lacks physically with mental power. Hwan is an extremely passionate and determined boy. Every single day he trains as hard as he can, then plays even harder. Hwan is so dedicated to the sport that baseball is something that identifies him. It's become a part of who he is.
But aside from that, there's more to him than just his bat. Hwan is rather popular. Well known for being such a persevering force on one of the sports teams. He even has quite a bit of fans around school. People tend to flock to him because of his his reputation, then want to stay because of his cuteness and easy to get along with attitude. Hwan actually has an introverted nature, so he prefers to stay around his small group of close friends and spend time with them. (that is, when he isn't busy with baseball in some way)

Usually sports are the reason he's not keeping up with his studies, as he likes to prioritize physical activity over just about everything. (but especially this) Hwan is always putting forth the bare minimum needed to be just passing all of his classes. Academics just aren't as important to him, if they do have any importance at all. Hwan has a bit of a problem when it comes to prioritizing. He really doesn't have a good sense of what should come first. He puts sports over almost anything and everything. He'll even ditch friends, cancel plans, or never show up just to practice a little more. At times, you can even find him in the baseball field when he should actually be in class.

IT'S IN FRONT OF ME
history. Hwan had been born while his parents were on vacation. They were visiting family that happened to live on the island of Jeju, in South Korea. His parents were very wealthy business people that inherited their companies from their own parents, now retired and living very peaceful islander lives. Hwan's parents knew that they would be too busy to properly care for and nurture a growing child, so they left him with his grandparents. They wanted to provide him a peaceful childhood where he would have the space to learn and grow without being forced to learn how to fend for himself at an early age. Thus, he grew up with a peaceful childhood of being pampered and loved. In his elementary years he founded a love of sports. He had been playing with his toys in the living room as a young boy, when suddenly one of the windows burst. Through it shot a destructive baseball. Hwan picked up the ball with curiosity and through the hole in his window poked out the head of a boy who happened to be similar to Hwan in age. Hwan heard the footsteps of his grandparents rushing to his aid, but so did the destructive boy. "Hey! Toss the ball! Hurry before I get in trouble!" he tried to whisper to him, but just as young Hwan had stepped up to the window and reached out to hand the boy his ball back, his grandmother arrived. She grabbed the ball and yelled at the destructive boy, scolding him and telling the boy to face her if he wanted his precious ball back. Once the destructive boy did so, him and Hwan's grandmother had a talk with the kid's parents. The destructive boy was forced to do chores around the Choi household to make up for the damage he caused. During this time, Hwan got to learn about the boy. For one, that his name was Paek Woobae. Rapidly, the two youths became close. Woobae introduced Hwan to baseball, and they would always play together in their spare time. Even after destructive Woobae paid off all of his dues to the Choi household, he continued to spend lots of time there. The two of them grew up together, their childhoods became shared. Both of them grew a passion for baseball, the whole reason they met, and they both pursued it together. Years went by and they were never apart.
Throughout his childhood, Hwan's parents would come to Jeju to visit him whenever they could. They would shower him in gifts, love, and money, hoping to make up for not being able to raise him as a part of an ideal family. Hwan's relationship with his parents was good, he had no bad feelings about them, and loved them as much as he could. Obviously, though, he was much closer with his grandparents, so when his parents began asking him to move back with them in his teen years, he refused. He had a life here, a best friend and caregivers that he had known his whole life. He didn't want to give that up for the big city, the mysterious, bustling and busy, the complete opposite atmosphere from the way he grew up, known as the capital, Seoul. His parents suspected he wouldn't be willing, but they were worried about upcoming financial problems and whether it would end up effecting their son or not.
But during the summer of his first year of high school, Hwan's life seemed to fall apart. All around him was an epidemic of despair. Suddenly neighborhood businesses began closing down left and right. Hwan's best friend, Woobae, always had this radiant shimmer on his face of joy and happiness. But that summer, he became dim. Hwan wanted to know what was wrong, why was his best friend no longer vibrant, where had his motivation to play all day gone? Why was Woobae suddenly so depressed? Woobae told him about his family had been hit hard by the financial crisis, and that the boy began to blame himself. Hwan didn't know what it was like, everyone around him seemed to be like this, but he hadn't been effected in the slightest by the economy's impact.
One day, no one was answering the phone over at the Paek household, so Hwan decided to walk over and visit, but no one was home. Disheartened, he went back home. Later on in the day his grandparents received a phone call. His grandmother answered, then after a few moments gave the phone to Hwan without a word. He felt his heart skip with excitement, thinking it was his best friend returning his call, but soon he felt his heart shatter. He was given the news that the voice he was expecting to hear through the phone, would never be heard again. Woobae, Hwan's most beloved childhood friend, had committed suicide. The weight on the destructive boy's shoulders of the guilt he felt towards his parent's financial situation eventually overcame him.
Hwan cried, and for days after that he stayed locked away in his room, not wanting to face the cruel outside world. With tears in his eyes, he threw his most precious baseball bat into the trash. Woobae had owned one identical to this one, with words written on them, a quote that inspired them both to never stop pursuing what they love. And with that, he also lost his motivation to play sports. Baseball meant nothing to him anymore.
By this time, his grandparents thought it would be a good idea for him to move to Seoul with his parents. To get away and adapt to a new atmosphere and start fresh. His parents knew how much he loved baseball, and with a little pushing managed to get him back into the grove of things once school started. The players in Seoul were big, tough, and serious about the sport. Hwan had a resolution. He was going to not only play for himself, but for his lost friend Paek Woobae as well. He decided to put forth his all and then some, and strive for the future that both himself and Woobae would've worked to attain together.

Throughout his childhood, Hwan's parents would come to Jeju to visit him whenever they could. They would shower him in gifts, love, and money, hoping to make up for not being able to raise him as a part of an ideal family. Hwan's relationship with his parents was good, he had no bad feelings about them, and loved them as much as he could. Obviously, though, he was much closer with his grandparents, so when his parents began asking him to move back with them in his teen years, he refused. He had a life here, a best friend and caregivers that he had known his whole life. He didn't want to give that up for the big city, the mysterious, bustling and busy, the complete opposite atmosphere from the way he grew up, known as the capital, Seoul. His parents suspected he wouldn't be willing, but they were worried about upcoming financial problems and whether it would end up effecting their son or not.
But during the summer of his first year of high school, Hwan's life seemed to fall apart. All around him was an epidemic of despair. Suddenly neighborhood businesses began closing down left and right. Hwan's best friend, Woobae, always had this radiant shimmer on his face of joy and happiness. But that summer, he became dim. Hwan wanted to know what was wrong, why was his best friend no longer vibrant, where had his motivation to play all day gone? Why was Woobae suddenly so depressed? Woobae told him about his family had been hit hard by the financial crisis, and that the boy began to blame himself. Hwan didn't know what it was like, everyone around him seemed to be like this, but he hadn't been effected in the slightest by the economy's impact.

history_ jae suk is an only child of very busy parents. it only makes sense that he would lack some common sense when you realize that he basically raised himself as best as he could. his relationship with his parents has always been distant, but that has only made him a more resilient and kind person. despite lacking intelligence, he tries his best to be nice to everyone and pretends to know what's going on even if it's obvious that he clearly doesn't know. he has always been there for his friends and offers a shoulder to cry on for anyone who needs it.
he's probably had girls that have noticed him at some point in a romantic way, but this kid is so lost in his own head that he never noticed it. not only that, he's very into one of the girls in his friend group but will never tell. he's pretty sure she would not take him seriously, especially because of how silly and easy to fool he is. if you told him that eggs rained from the sky he would probably believe you. he's not really affected by the economic situation too much because of the fact that he has his spending money saved away and tries to keep limits on how much he spends.
