Greyson "Grey" Kingsley

Professional Coffee Addict
Name: Greyson "Grey" Kingsley
Age: 19

Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Occupations:
-Wall Worker: Grey's primary occupation. Not having a family to call his own left him as orphan, and as such there isn't many valuable connections his name has to offer throughout the city. The only initial available job was maintaining the area between the wall and he needed the income, of course he took up the offer. After three years of working, he has well acquainted himself with the fellow workers and has created a reliable bond. One such that he is trusted to repair a section of the wall on his own, and the others have minimal doubts about the fruits of his labor.
-Subsistence Farmer: Another problem arising from his minimal income, he took to farming as a way to combat the lack of food he had. A small section of his assigned area has been assigned to solely farming, so he has some kind of nourishment whenever the plants become ready. Any scraps he manages to scrounge gets tossed into a soup before they rot, and shared between the younger orphans living day by day through the streets.

Appearance:
- Hair: Unkempt black hair, with the sides trimmed a bit short while the top is kept about an inch in length. He likes to spike his hair just a small amount, parting it down one side when needed for a slightly more formal look than his everyday work mess. Otherwise, he lets it stick around in random places as if he hardly cared for it. He pulls it off, somehow.
- Eyes: His irides are an olive green, not too common but not far too uncommon in the day and age. The whites of his eyes are clear, giving little sign of his everyday stresses.
- Body Frame: His genetically lighter complexion had darkened with his everyday exposure to the sun, giving him a nice shade of summer brown that others would be jealous for. Constant work puts his body under immense strain, especially with his lackluster diet, which gives him a leaner figure. Not extremely muscular, but also not very thin, its to the point where a tighter shirt would outline the finer points in his upper body. He stands at an even 6'0, and weighs in at 155lbs.
- Clothing: A navy blue tank top exposes his arms and shoulders, but gives him enough freedom to work in the walls or in the farm. His bottoms are typically a dirty stained pair of khaki cargo trousers, the plentiful number of pockets giving him enough space to hold any tools required. They're held up by a brown leather belt, small hooks clipped to the left and right belt loops to assist him in hanging at higher levels of the wall. At home, he takes to a much more modern style, with a clean white tank top and a pair of running shorts for ease of movement when relaxing.
- Accessories: Not much, aside from the two small hooks. However, the collar around his neck is a bit thinner than most. It's design almost like that of a choker, it fits snugly on his neck and hangs around the midsection of his neck. The material, a stainless steel, is held together and made up by chains to provide proper mobility while also not feeling as restricting as the bulkier models.

Personality: Over the years, people have been required to adapt to living harshly or else they wouldn't survive. Grey is no exception to that, and had adapted to this lifestyle to become an extremely hard worker. Perhaps even more astounding is the kind nature he carries about him, a lifestyle of living in the streets giving him plenty reason to develop an irrational attitude and strike at his fellow survivors for his own selfish benefit. However, it is less than such, and he instead has a much more refined and selfless demeanor. He would, more often than not, split the food in his hands if he so much as saw someone younger than him as much as glance at it in hunger, even after a hard day of work. He is not without his flaws, however. An extremely defensive perspective for the children around him, he has developed somewhat of a brotherly mentality for all of them. Meaning that if someone walking through so much as touched a hair on their heads the wrong way, he would not hesitate to strike in their stead. Grey is also extremely territorial about his home, a keen eye on who enters his home and where their eyes wander. His personal business is his own, and at the moment he has no one in particular he wishes to trust with his life's work and past memories.

Background: Grey, as mentioned before, is an orphan who has fended for himself starting at a very young age. He lost his parents to the outside, a minor mishap in the exterior wall had both of them trapped with the only escape being the outside. It didn't end so well. Greyson wasn't the one to mope about the loss, and instead decided to begin finding a way to make income for himself. At the young age, he hardly had the opportunity to work for a steady income, and has instead been working the cheaper unofficial jobs like helping families repair their homes or tending to larger farms. As he grew, he developed a lovely attitude that continues to smile and persevere through the hard work; it was almost scary to some, like he had something to hide. (Yeahh, not feeling the background too much. Will change this if I get any better ideas.)

Housing
A minor settlement, it's nearly a hole in the wall type of home. The pillars of the structure are simple 4x4 planks of wood, held up by being planted into the ground below. The walls are made of thin aluminum sheetmetal, barely giving him a barrier against the outdoors. The inside wall is lined with thinner planks of 2x4, giving it a woodwork type interior finish. The floor is made from spare stones he managed to scrape away at until flat, gaps filled with cement he was able to purchase with spare coin.
The plot itself could be divided into three areas, two being of the same size while one being about half the size of the other two. The smaller one is considered his personal room, where he sleeps and keeps any belongings. The center room, one of the larger ones, has one of the walls torn down and serves as an entrance. In it he has most of his food hung or stored away in crafted cabinets, along with a single-plate stove.
The last area has no walls whatsoever, and the floor has been kept as dirt to serve as his own little farm plot. Within it he has managed to grow a hybrid of vineyard plants and a potato, saving him plenty of space by growing them along one of his walls. The remainder of the plot are low maintenance crops, like tomatoes, lettuce, and even carrots.
