[SIZE= 12px]freya bjorn had a tragic past before becoming a mother to ingrid.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]with a failed family after the death of her first daughter and a mental health issue bothering her life, freya couldn't keep up the happy and strong facade.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]n[/SIZE][SIZE= 12px]o one paid attention to her when she stood by the ledge. but when she jumped, instead of falling, she floated down safely onto the sidewalk. a man approached her and held her hand. he hugged her when she broke down in tears. he escorted her back into her home.[/SIZE]

[SIZE= 12px]freya felt much better having another companion. she still had her doubts and fears. her bad memories still haunt her but boreas seemed to help her realise that she could fight. she understood that he couldn't stay-- after all, he's a god with duties. she did however, ask him a blessing for a safe delivery of his child. and so ingrid was born.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]as a child, ingrid was immediately, recognised for her somewhat uncommon hair colour. it became a 'quirk', along with her ability to withstand the winter in minimal clothing. [/SIZE][SIZE= 12px]this individualistic trait had her exposed to attention she didn't want. people didn't really care who she was and only on how she looked. this in turn developed her calm demeanour and desire for practical skills. [SIZE= 12px]her mother raised her with tales of greek instead of the more local norse mythology. never talked about the past and was usually wary of people. guests never come into their home, her mother never seemed to be fond of making friends. it became something that ingrid adapted, a lifestyle of privacy she accepted.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]sometime around the age of fourteen, ingrid gained a... friend. someone so similar, they could've been twins. appearance wise, personality wise and even that odd quirk. her name was signe. she showed her the truth. the powers. the ice, the snow.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]as they bonded, so did their parents. eventually, later that year, mikael and freya got married and upon discovery that both of their children were demigods, they sent ingrid and signe off to camp daybreak.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]with no one to guide them, they relied on sensory signs and mostly got lost in the woods. but after a night camping out, signe went missing and ingrid panicked. she searched and searched, before losing consciousness not far from the camp gates due to thirst. her body was white and cold.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]when she woke up, she was at the infirmary.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 12px]"what's your name?" they asked her.[/SIZE]
