hello everyone! this is the character sheet to the reboot of the roleplay greenwood falls

so the rundown of green wood falls is that a few nosy monster enthusiasts and cryptid hunters have stumbled upon the off-the-grid and very secluded town of Greenwood Falls where the supernatural residents are not allowed to leave. When these humans arrive, the supernaturals try their best to blend in and act natural, concealing their true forms in hopes that the humans won't pick up that they are out of the ordinary. Also, there's some mysteries and puzzles laying around this town, maybe this town has a secret?

Auguste is Spanish-French. He was born in Madrid, but grew up for the majority of his life in France, and even though he speaks both languages, he considers himself more French than Spanish because his ties to Spain have been all but killed.

True Form

Auguste can turn into a wolf. Special, I know. But he can also call upon the strength of the wolf in short bursts and he heals quicker. However, calling upon his strength/regeneration will drain him of energy and nutrients that he needs to live. He also has exceptionally good hearing.

After his mother forced him to shave his head as a kid, Auguste allowed his hair to grow out long when he escaped the household. It's become a curtain for him to hide behind. It's kind of a shaggy wavy mess but he likes it because at least he has hair now. It's dark and adds to his intimidation factor, and the white patch in it only serves to make him appear as even more disheveled, but he would never think of dying his hair fully one color because it was one of the few things he inherited from his father that he could keep. Sometimes, when he's actually trying to look presentable, he'll tie his hair back into a bun or loose ponytail.

modifications

While he's alright with modifications on other people, Auguste never really found the need to make himself modified in any way. That being said, there's a tattoo on his bicep of the logo from the illegal fight club he'd been working for before he managed to escape. The tattoo wasn't necessarily put on willingly on his part, so he is looking to remove it. It's kind of turned him off of the whole "body art" thing, though again he's supportive of people who want to do that themselves. Besides that, he has scars all around his body from the different abuses he's suffered. The scar on his lips is from eating a brick bench, the scar on his forehead is from saving Charlie from some of the angry fight club members. There is a scar from where his mother threw a plate at his head. Fun stuff.

Auguste is massive. He's really just... a giant that is pretending to be human. Muscular and toned from the years of fighting and dancing, and trying to keep his body in shape, Auguste is just... massive. And terrifying to behold. If it wasn't for his more gentle nature, and the fact that he hasn't actually murdered anybody yet, it would be very easy to mistake him for a murderer or a criminal. There's also always an air of danger when he's present, especially for strangers who aren't necessarily used to looking at the 6'7 muscular man who is currently "glaring" at them and looks like he took a knife to the face.

Auguste usually wears long sleeves of any kind. And he's often very fond of the color blue. Though, it should be noted that he runs warm so usually he has the sleeves rolled up or the top button unbuttoned. In general though, his attire does nothing to combat the "shaggy dog" appearance that he's adopted.

Auguste is actually a very good listener and a very gentle person by nature. He loves nature and loves the ocean, and the beach and the sun and warmth. He also doesn't mind having fun every now and then. Socialization with new people may be scary, but Auguste is very loyal to the people that actually manage to befriend him. He also doesn't mind people using him to scare others, and will actually play along with things

Also despite his terrifying appearance, he's actually very emotionally intelligent and generally a suprisingly empathetic guy, usually speaking in a soft, gentle tone. He's also a brilliant musician and composer, and he has a perfect echoic memory. But people usually ignore that for "AH! Scary man!" and frankly he doesn't even blame them.

Auguste can be a bit abrasive when people first meet him, and he does play into his intimidating appearance in order to keep people away from him. He's also terrified of people a lot of the time, and extremely passive to the things that people do to him. This is hiding, of course, a temper that he's desperately trying to keep under wraps and a mild addiction to violence. He also tends to be rather secretive and keeps a lot of his life underwraps.

As A Whole

Auguste as a whole is a gentle, soft spoken guy who generally tries to keep himself and not share too much. He's a musical genius and a dancer and enjoys having fun. The big softie though, battles with his dark past and temper that he feels and refuses to ever give into again.

early life

Auguste was born to a dancer wolfman and a nurse in Madrid Spain. He was born with melodies in his head and rhythm in his soul and began learning music as soon as he possibly could. This was also supplemented with dance lessons from his father, and his household was happy. And then his father died, leaving Auguste traumatized and his mother's mind shattered. She moved them to France to be closer to her family. And she began trying to change Auguste. Auguste looked like a mini version of his father, even inheriting his more melancholic nature. And his mother hated that. So, she beat the emotions out of Auguste, until he no longer felt things, or had any resemblance to his father.

Teenage Years

Auguste's teenage years was half dedicated to violence. He joined an illegal street fighting ring when people realized that people enjoyed watching a scrawny kid beat people up much stronger than him. And then when he had his growth spurt to 6'7, he got even more booking as he became even more terrifying. And this was affecting his life outside the ring as well as he became violent at school, though he never raised a hand against his mother. He was still beaten at home, and his job was to be beaten in front of a crowd. And he would beat poeople up at school. Blood and violence surrounded him and was beginning to suffocate him. That's when Charlie finally stepped in, pretty randomly one day fixating upon learning guitar. And Auguste agreed to teach his only remaining friend. Charlie's lessons began eating up more and more of Auguste's time, as he got roped into joining Charlie's punk rock band. The angry music began to take over how he was releasing his anger and pain upon the world until one day, he was completely free from the shackles of his addiction to violence. Before Charlie left for college, Auguste promised him to never fall back into that trap. He made a deal with Andrew to leave Paris behind to go to a prestigious music university on a full scholarship in exchange for labor.

Adult life

Auguste's life in university was interesting. First of all, apparently he was gay. Which was awkward to figure out when he was just getting physical with his first - and only - girlfriend. More embarrassing hijinks occurred during his university years as he learned more and grew. Auguste also began dancing once more, and composing. He graduated from university with a degree in music composition. He also started producing music under the masked persona Cerberus, learning that he really had a knack for it as Cerberus's name got bigger and bigger. He doesn't really know how it happened, but all of the sudden he was in an enviable position of having a succeessful brand and arts career while not having to sacrifice his anonymity. He decided to move out to Scotland in order to keep his anonymity and remain close with the nature he loved so much. There was also the added bonus that Charlie was moving there as well.

He hates his mother. So much. She ruined his life, and he thinks that if she never was in his life, he'd be so much healthier both mentally, emotionally, and more successful in his career. While a lot of his issues are self-inflicted, she has been the root of a lot of his issues nowadays. A lot of his emotional pain is directly linked to her in some way. But at the same time, he's absolutely terrified of her. Auguste could never bring himself to face her, because in this world, the most terrifying person in the world was the person that made him break.

Cam is pretty mischievous as a person, they like playing jokes and pranks on people. However, they're also highly empathetic and genuinely kind, so they dislike causing harm to people. They always try to help those around them, and are also devoted to making the people around them feel more included and generally comfortable in their presence. Though, they do like having fun with their friends, they would never cross the line to where they become genuinely hurtful. Despite being a walking beauty salon, Cam doesn't actually like most of the beauty standards that people impose. They believe strongly in making yourself the most confident you that you can be, using the resources you have at your disposal. To that end, even before "The Incident" they were always heavily reluctant to make people taller or thinner or more fit.

History

Cam was abandoned on the front steps of an orphanage when they were 3. Where did they come from? Even they aren't particularly certain. They were adopted by a gay couple, quickly after, and brought to a French village where they befriended one Charles Chapeliere. Though, Cam never approved of the bullying that Charlie would partake in, they never objected. Shockingly, one day Charlie brought a sickly looking boy to their doorstep, and thus began a long term three way friendship. And the gay dads were very approving of Cam's genderfluidity and changeable nature.

They were one of the groupies for Charlie and Auggie's band, supporting Auguste through his rehabilitation and trying to get him back. Cam went to England to study for beauty school. They were also the ones that Auguste called while in his crisis, flew back to France to help Charlie clean up his act. All the fun stuff. They joined Andrew's group after leaving college to keep an eye on Auguste and to help him from going back into his blood rage.

Powers

Cam has two powers. Their primary power is being able to change their appearance completely including their biological sex. Thus, they will change between appearances rather a lot, though they tend to enjoy having unnatural hair colors or piercings or tattoos.

The secondary power is being able to change other people's appearances. However, they absolutely refuse to change bone structures or completely change someone's bodies. They can remove and create tattoos, and are a hella good hair dresser.

They cannot create limbs, nor can they make people wings or tails or cat ears or whatever. It has to be on the basis of humans and the human form.

The universe fucked up when they created Andrew Romano. Standing at 5'3, he has a general gravity to him that draws people in, making people forget sometimes that by all accounts he's a scrawny, short shrimp of a man. In general though, something about his appearance just.. seems off. He's not unattractive, by any means, it's just that some of his proportions, like his fingers to palm ratio, are not particularly proportionate to how the human body is supposed to look. He also has some seriously fucked up eyes. Brown in one eye, with a single section of blue, and green in the other, with a yellow ring in it, it makes Andrew's stare even more unnerving to behold.

Andrew is very charismatic, and often, a pretty fun person to be around. Mild-mannered, and always polite, he strives to make people feel welcome in his presence. This completely falls apart, however, when actually asked about how he feels about strangers. The answer? He doesn't really give a shit. And he doesn't give a single shit about anyone, really, except for his business partners and himself. And even then, he is pretty self-serving in that regards. Cold and calculating, it's easy to get swept up in Andrew's natural allure and carefully chosen manipulations in order for you to perceive him in a positive manner. The more outwardly blunt and cold he becomes, the more you're actually getting through to him. Because then, he's showing you his authentic self.

Backstory

There was once a kid, whose father was incredibly abusive. The father was a part of a mafia, and the kid watched all the dealings happened. The kid was a problem child, a bit sickly growing up, and refusing to speak for the first few years of his life. And the father became incredibly abusive until the mother turned the father in to the police. They went into witness protection, and that's how Andrew Romano was born. An absolute genius, Andrew breezed through school, turning his sights towards criminal investigations. His mother remarried and the newlyweds had a daughter when Andrew was in his teens, that Andrew absolutely adored and doted on in his own way. He graduated high school two years early and immediately went in to the CIA for analysis.

And then the mafia found them. And Andrew came home one day, to find the house burned to the ground, no survivors. That was the day he declared war, but he had to build connections and gain power before he could even think about taking on a massive crime family. So signed himself up for a new program that was dedicated towards getting together a black ops team of highly trained specialists to deal with magical threats in order to gather power and gather influence. Among those "assigned" (persuaded, coerced) to his team was a traveler who could travel between worlds. So, Andrew asked Damien to take him to a world of his choosing and leave him there to gather power for a bit. He brought along Auguste and Camille for backup, just in case.

Powers

Andrew is a demon, much to his delight. He can create contracts with people. He's not a big "soul eater" but he does like having favors and boons of his choosing being his qualifier. He fulfills his part of the contract, and if the other party doesn't fulfill their's... that's when the fun begins. He has telekinesis, and can turn into a crow.

Creepy, is the easiest way to describe Rat. Everything he does has an element of weirdness to it; the way he speaks and moves, to the way he habitually climbs things and slithers out of seemingly nowhere to join conversations. He's childish and troublesome and those with a temper may find themselves getting angry very quickly around Rat. He relishes in the activity of teasing and riling somebody up despite the threat of consequences. He will poke the bear with his hand, not a stick.

In situations that require social norms he's also a bit lacking, runs his mouth freely and has zero concept of personal space. Acts more like a horrid pet dog than anything else.

When engaging in serious situations Rat is much the same. In the moments he is angry or frustrated, it is usually sudden. He has mood swings and highly unstable emotions, and does not express much of anything outside of glee and anger.

WEAKNESS
While he would never assert his superiority over anybody, there is a slight ego inside of Lex. His inability to take criticism (constructive included) is one sign of the secret trait. He believes everything he does is perfect, therefore criticism is void and a personal attack. If he is not good at something or he loses, it is taken as a sign of his inadequacy and a threat to his intelligence.

Lexis can not handle being idle. He has the constant need to be doing something which makes him restless and anxious in down-time. This results in a lot of pacing, some odd hobbies to waste time and overworking himself. He does not like resting, when he could be doing something much more productive.

Lex has cursive handwriting, which is pretty to stare at yet impossible to read. Everything he writes becomes a scrawl that he is still somehow able to decipher. If you can’t read it, it’s your fault. Not his.

PERSONALITY
For Lex, everything is serious. Jokes are taken at face value and he very rarely smiles at all. His expression and attitude are always humourless, providing a very grim presence and an intense weight to conversations. Despite looking grumpy to the outside eye he is actually very reserved and polite, it’s just that his monotonous nature comes across as sarcastic. It is hard to decipher whether he has an attitude or if he's just very direct with his observations.

After spending time with Lex, it is easy to notice that he is simply tone-deaf. He is good at strategy and history, not so much with people.

As a chronic overthinker, every little detail must be in line for Lex to feel at ease. He is a perfectionist over things that don't quite matter to most people, especially when monitoring the time. Everything comes down to planning and efficiency.

When he is not good at something, Lex will input everything into fixing that. This is an unhealthy behaviour that results in overworking and being borderline obsessive. He feels the need to strive for perfection in every single thing he does. His anger takes the form of disappointment or short remarks, but he never raises his voice. Lex can get catty and behave immaturely if there’s a threat to his competency or perfectionism.

His view towards other species is harsh, a much more cruel aspect to the commonly polite Lexis. He's very discriminatory against those that aren't human, as shown with his career path and lack of compassion for any of them. His ideal world would have them all exterminated, a goal he intends to follow through on.

Ren has a faint scar through his upper lip from splitting it open in a physical altercation, plus a thin scar on his ribs.
VISAGE

Ren's most defining feature is his hair, which is long and dark and gives him a more androgynous appearance. He uses this to his advantage if needed. His build is athletic, yet still leans towards the lanky side of 5'10. He has warm olive beige skin, sharp features, shadowed eyes and tapered brows. These give him a very unwelcome expression. When mixed with his blunt attitude results in coming across hostile without intending to.
ATTIRE

Ren is most often seen in black, a colour he proudly claims is a match to the obsidian scales of his dragon form. At times his style of dress does have androgynous themes to it, he has no issue wearing stereotypically feminine clothing and will freely go from one extreme to the other. He may dress and present female to get what he wants or to lower suspicion. The femininity is mainly for manipulative purposes, but Ren will wear whatever works in his favour/whatever he feels like at the time.

On special occasions he will don traditional robes, but this is very rare. He would rather die than wear the colour blue.

STRENGTHS
Ren is assertive. He's not afraid to ask (more so demand) answers for things he doesn't understand. With being so direct, he values honesty and is not one to tiptoe around something he wants. The sheer confidence in everything he does could be seen as intelligent or stupid.

If you ignore his sleepiness, Ren is highly motivated for what he wants. His mindset can become very driven and stubborn if he has the incentive. This could be of value if he learned how to apply it to good things.

Once someone is trusted by Ren, they will find he is very loyal to those he cares about. He will throw himself into a fight if he thinks somebody has even slighted his friends.

When he can be bothered, Ren is actually a good cook.

WEAKNESS
Everything Ren does is never within moderation; once he starts he doesn't know when to stop. This lack of self control results in overindulgent behaviours that brings harm to himself or others. Ren does not know his own limits and has a skewed perception that he can handle everything. This impulsion gets him into a lot of issues, namely physical fights that he does not win.

His anger is his worst vice. To avoid appearing weak to others all his unwanted emotions are twisted into anger. While he does want to improve his life and have connections and feel included, his hostility and intensity drives people away. He does not like asking for help or depending on anybody and is adamant on doing everything himself-- even if the odds are impossible.

Those that do manage to befriend Ren will have to be patient and strong enough to endure the male's accusations and uncertainty at times. Small actions or sayings can set him off and rise quick suspicions. He will question every little thing in assumption he is being used or lied to. He's a very intense person to be around since his emotions are felt and expressed so potently.

He is stubborn. Once Ren has set his mind on something it will take a whole lot of effort to pull him away from it -- quite literally. Physical restraint might be necessary. He's not good at admitting when he's wrong, even worse at apologising for things. With verbal remedies being his downfall, he instead has to shows his care through other behaviours.

FEARS
Ren cannot swim and is afraid of deep bodies of water.

Needles. something about a thin sharp object impaling his skin scares him. He also doesn't trust anyone enough to allow them to inflict pain on his body.

The paranormal. He cannot sit through horror films and gets skittish over anything occult. If he thinks something has moved in a room by itself, Ren will get up and leave immediately. Makes him a very superstitious individual. Would punch at a ghost if given the opportunity.

PERSONALITY
Upon appearance many wouldn't think much of Ren. He seems to be more on the shy and reserved side, having a tendency to keep to himself and avoid large social gatherings. It would be questionable why someone at quiet as him would have a few assault charges, until one learns how short tempered he is. Anger is his entire embodiment. He is not one for compromises or thinking and will try to attack someone for the smallest of reasons. Even the wrong look can result in a fiery reaction from Ren.

Everything he says is incredibly blunt. With his stoicism towards more intimate topics it does result in putting others on the spot and asking awkward questions. Ren is difficult to embarrass because of this endless confidence and is unbothered by what most consider flustering. Despite how bold he can be, Ren does prefer an introverted lifestyle. When he's in a comfortable space with friends he usually behaves. If quiet he is either content or angry. Enjoy figuring out which.

When manipulating someone his personality will change accordingly. This can take the form of flirting, dressing as a woman acting shy or being in need of help. If Ren finds out private information he will stoop low enough to use it against you -- as blackmail or just being insensitive in general.

He's not interested in doing anything unless he gets something from it.

PERSONALITY: Kenna is a bit complicated as she still deals with her Jorōgumo urges despite the control she has. She has the ability to act very seductively and can be flirty but that is normally when she is hungry and struggling to control her urge to hunt for prey. Most of the time Kenna is a very warm and kind young woman who can act very motherly when she wants to. She has no shame for how she looks and is proud of her deformity because of its personal meaning. She knows that to some, even with her deformities, she is lovely and she never hides her fangs unless she is specifically asked to or if she knows it makes another person uncomfortable. She is someone who values life and does not wish to harm others but will if it means protecting her family and friends. It would be very easy for her to let go and give control to the Jorōgumo so she must always keep her emotions in check or risk losing her humanity. This can be difficult at times because she is known to have a bit of a temper and also to go through periods of serious depression. For her, it is hard some days to hold onto her humanity because it would hurt so much less to let it go and let all that she is slip away as she became the monster she was always meant to be. And as stated before, Kenna values life but the moment you mess with her family, the moment you risk hurting any of them, she will let the twisted predator inside her loose and she will rip you in half with a smile on her face. When the Jorōgumo has more control than Kenna she becomes twisted, seductive, and a bit psychotic. She relishes in the pain of others and lives for the hunt and the kill as well as more physical pleasures. When Jorōgumo is around it is best to keep away or risk falling victim to the widows kiss or far worse.

Born to a poor family in ancient Rome. Their parents lied to them on their birthday saying they had a surprise, but the surprise ended up that they sold them for some food. They were put to work at the gladiatorial arena cleaning up corpses and serving drinks, then were tossed in the ring to 'fight' after spilling wine. After being hacked to death by a gladiator's sword, they woke up in a familiar pile of bodies, driven by a single desire. Revenge. Off home they went to see their parents, who were a bit surprised. Long story short, they ate them. And now apparently has to keep eating raw flesh to stay alive, and believes all liars deserve to die. They don't remember their name, and use 'ericius' which some man yelled at them in disdain - really just means urchin in latin.
