In the year of 2034, technological advancements have slowed to a seeming crawl. With graphics and information reaching it's seeming peak for current society. Full virtual reality gaming and entertainment becoming the norm. Cellular phones becoming obsolete in place of high-tech video communicators and head mounted displays.(First released in the year 2020, See more).
Truly life in the year 2034 is what many have dreamed of in the years past.
War, hunger, and disease a unheard of prospect to the majority of the world. With only the poor or destitute among us left out.
Much of communication and 'internet' usage has been transferred over to the 'Global FAS System'
A system of digital information repositories made by the world-government to replace the outdated Internet access model. With a centralized forum system that let's users find communities easy, interconnected and integrated with daily life.

[FAS System]
[FAS]
The FAS system in place today is not unlike the internet system of Yester-year, with webpages, site, social networking and gaming.
In the wake of social networking becoming the main use of internet technology, and with the creation of the world-government (See more) The High Minister of Technology at the time decided it was the high time to instate a new system of inter-computer networking. Titled the Global FAS System, it was quickly accepted. With only minor outcry about the new systems being it's lack of privacy and government investment. Which was quickly silenced by promises from the high-minister of Technology.
FAS stands for forum Access System. Well it retains all the features of the previous system, including webpages, web games and older social networks, and most legacy sites were able to be ported over. it adds a new 'mode' of access, where all information on the web is accessed through a system of forums or boards, causing a revolutionary effect called 'The community', where online communities for seemingly everything started popping up, from gaming boards with exclusive VR worlds, Music guilds with band concerts, and anything else imaginable, even schools and education took a drastic turn and became centralized around this.
Every board had it's own benefits to being a member. And these days anyone can make a forum by buying hosting from companies, such as our own EchoNet Communications. With a multitude of options, from full VR Chat-room experiences to real-world venues to meet up in. Truly the Global FaS system was truly a marvel of technology. You can simply search for any content you wish for, and get delivered a community for your needs.

[The New World]

With the invention of 'land-floaters' allowing seemingly infinite amounts of weight to be held over the world oceans, large cities were built to combat the mass-flooding of the continents, and it worked extremely well. And is almost indistinguishable from the land of the pass, and children born after 2019 will no of nothing else.
These cities are what many in the past would draw or imagine as futuristic cities, when in truth it's not much different. Cars and parks and trees are all widely used and similar to the ones in the pass, with the exception of running only on electrical power.
Otherwise it is almost indistinguishable from the world of old. The culture of these cities vary widely, but are mostly based upon western ideals, most are based where Europe and North America where previously, although the floater-mass of New Australia is the third largest, boasting an extensive zoo-collection of animals that were drowned in most parts of the world.

The cities are wide and varied, staying similar to their previously land-bound counterparts. Second Earth is the largest floater, housing multiple cities, a list of the 30 largest Second Earth cities are below.

New Pittsburgh
New Texas
Etc.
The majority of the American states became cities on second earth, along with most European countries, with Asia and Russia having separate states.
The previous countries of South Korea and North Korea are on a third Floater. And the floaters of Australia and South America counted as Minor masses.

The last entry on our recent History {course one} entry. The world government is council of leaders, experts in their fields. Of every category imaginable. From travel, food, television, gaming, and many others. The world government consists of over 400 members, all leading the world to a better place.

Hey guys, so I don't have much to say here. There will be a mystery and some dramatic flair. But it would ruin the ride if I told you know. So stay in the suspense? Kay?
I'll give you a sneak peek though. The world is perfect, or it seems to everyone. But the FAS system brings good as it brings bad, the government controls it completely, but also relies on it. So what happens when people figure out how to use it for...More nefarious purposes? Well, I hope that wet your appetite. This will be a less action, and more laid-back mystery. the bulk will take place on the Forum system. I know I didn't do the best job explaining things, but I hope you can bear with me through this!
