Personality: He's a slacker, and a womanizer. More or less what you wouldn't expect of a monk. He hates working, and is willing to mooch off of anyone who lets. The only things that get him off his ass, are women, and his master's words to him from his days at the temple. He can be pretty cool, when he takes things seriously. But hes usually a care free fool, who constantly finds himself in some kind of trouble.

Magical abilities: Purification magic, a special type of magic used normal by monks or anyone in the business of purifying evil.

1]Banish: basically channeling his purification magic through his limbs, and or weapons. He can then strike foes with them, this adds power to his attacks[SIZE= 16px]. [/SIZE]
[SIZE= 16px]Also increasing damage against unholy enemies. He may also use this with talismans, for long ranged attacks. [/SIZE]
[SIZE= 16px]Although the farther the target, the worse the accuracy.[/SIZE]
[SIZE= 16px]Anything beyond 12ft has a 59/41 chance of hitting, 59 being it but misses.[/SIZE]
2] Sutra of the saint: This is a ability that allows the user to put up a powerful barrier. The barrier protect all intended people, unless they themselves are of demonic Orgin.
[SIZE= 16px]But hurts anyone who gets to close, the barrier expands no more than 10ft around Gin( so far). So it's better used as a means of defense, rather than attack. [/SIZE]
[SIZE= 16px] In order to keep the barrier up Gin must continue to chant, if he stops for even a moment the barrier will drop, and he will be forced to restart. [/SIZE]
[SIZE= 16px]He can use this power in two ways. The first one being he can use his staff, and the chant alone for the barrier. [/SIZE]
[SIZE= 16px]Although this will make the barrier much weaker. The second being he can use the gem, and make the barrier much stronger. [/SIZE]

3] Buddha's cure: this ability is uses to heal curses and other such ailments. Even poisons. The user must first have knowledge of the curse, or poison. Then they must know the proper chant in order to heal it. This usually takes a day at most, but due to Gins vast knowledge, and experience of the Technique he can achieve this a few hours quicker than normal
Strengths: martial arts: being a monk it's only natural you learn martial arts. So Gin has done so. Learning many different fighting styles Gin is a deadly foe, with his hands, or even with his staff.
Although he has spent more time working on his magical abilities. So that does put him at a disadvantage against someone whos trained solely in hand to hand combat. But only if they were to fight hand to hand. His body is much stronger thanks to his hand to hand combat.
Knowledgeable: Gin has studied curses, and other ailments. So he's very knowledgeable of them, being able to easily spot commen curses, and use the know he has of them to heal the cursed person.
Weaknesses:
He has a lower critical attack rate. Generally it is hard to instantly kill foes in one attack.
In general, his speed is lower, giving more constraints to evading attacks. When this happens, he uses his higher physical defense to block and counter attacks.
Bio: When he was a baby his parents were killed by some unknown person/creature. Not long after he was taken in by Monks. Who were seemingly hunting the creature that killed his parents. They took care of him, raised him, and taught him their ways. It wasn't long before he was grown, and much stronger. Eventually though, he set out on his own mission to find the being that killed his parents, and to purify it from the world.
