Gareth has eyes that look very dark but are actually of a pale green colour. His hair is of mainly two shades of brown. A golden brown near the top and parts of his hair that are mostly exposed to the sun while a much darker brown near the roots. He is leanly built and fairly tall with pale skin that had grown slightly tan under the sun.

Personality: As a young kid, due to parent's and siblings influences, Gareth grew up mistrustful of anyone he didnt know. He became isolated at school. Fueled by pride, he often picked fights with those who mocked him or tried to hurt his name in anyway. Luckily for him, he often won. People described him as the troublesome, cold, antisocial and just downright unpleasant to be around because of his sharp tongue and distrust of everyone around him, making his looks his only redeeming features. When he met Kyle, he changed for the better, showing his kinder and gentler nature. He started finding it easier to talk to people because of his best friend and learnt to have faith in others. People just started liking him again and saw that he was really a gentle and strong guy who was just insecure about his surroundings. Who loved animals, was a great leader, a loyal friend who protected his friends at all costs. But then the world split and Gareth was alone again. Kyle's betrayal undid all the good that had come from their friendship and Gareth was reverted back to step one, the dangerous and mistrustful old self.
Bio: [SIZE= 13px]As a kid, Gareth grew up a fighter and was the youngest son of 5 children. Their mother had been a self defence specialist who made it her duty to train her children so that they could always protect themselves[/SIZE][SIZE= 13px]. [/SIZE][SIZE= 13px] Being the runt of his generation in his early years, there was much pressure on him to do well and keep up with his siblings in both fighting and academics. Years of training with no one but his mother and siblings made him anti-social and secluded from the world. He was brought up with stories of betrayal and backstabbing, their parent's way of preparing their children for the world.[/SIZE]
In 5th grade, he met Kyle, a young bubbly, athlete whose quirky nature and determination made Gareth warm up to him. He was a hardworker and an over acheiver, trying his best in all he did, which earned Gareth's respect. Under Kyle's influence, he started seeing the world in a better light and started opening up more to the people around him. He started helping to teach his classmates self defense, tutored those who needed academic help and even helped out at the local animal shelter where he was a favorite among the staff.
Then the world split and everything around him was thrown into utter chaos. At the time of the disaster, he had been with Kyle camping in the nature reserve in their town. Gareth had been tracking some deer for fun when the world crumbled around them and, upon racing back to camp, found everything in ruins with Kyle trapped and suffocating under the trees that had fallen over their tent. while trying to help his friend, Gareth got himself stuck and hurt yet had successfully gotten Kyle out, but instead of helping him, his closest friend ran instead. Leaving Gareth to die.
Most people were scarred from losing someone, but for Gareth, it was because that person was alive and well and had betrayed him.
Strengths: Gareth is an excellent fighter. He is a born leader and thinks on his feet, most of the time anyway, and is fairly level-headed.
Weaknesses: Sometimes finds it hard to communicate in a nice way with the people around him. He comes off like a complete jerk most of the time and can be quick to say hurtful things.
Supplies: Gareth had scavenged some supplies from their campsite like a few rations of food that would last him a few days, a canister, a very minimal first aid kit, a torn sleepingbag that could only be used as a blanket now, a combat knife and a torch.
Other: He loves small animals such as squirrels and ferrets.
