Lore: Bran the Broken has died after only twenty years of rule. Depending on who you ask. To Sansa, Robin Arynn and Hoster son of Edmure Tully, he is still alive if comotose. To Bronn of House Blackwater, he might as well be dead, after all the young king's health had been waning for years often slipping in and out of dream lile trances for months at a time. Tyrion Lannister, has nothing to say...yet. For now he only watches seeing how the Lords and Ladys will take andvantage of the situation and how he can avoid another civil war. Of course Gendry Baratheon is now six feet under susposedly killed by bandits on his way to King's Landing, with no heirs or wife to take his place. Yara Greyjoy has just put down another coup attempt, and could care less for the King when every year another house tries to have her killed or try declare independence Dorne of course has used this as an excuse to further push their power, immediatly Martell voted himself as a candidate for the throne before the council has even started. Chaos has overtaken Westeros and the fate of the continent rides on this election.

Status of Westros
The Reach: House Blackwater of the Reach through manipulation, tarriffs and trade war has finally legitimized its rule over the Reach. Through threats to cut off trade, and impose heavy tariffs on the other kingdoms, Bronn has finally forced the other lords to accept that a sellsword is one of the most powerful men in Westeros. The news of the King has left him in an interesting position. While he could usurp power for himself, he has found himself indebt to Tyrion, and the King. To many of the lords, Bronn is a wild card, and many are anxious to see what his choices will be in the coming council meeting.

The Stormlands: Gendry Bareathon has become victim of betrayal and deceit from his vassal houses of the stormlands. Being that he was acbastard legitimized by the Queen of Ashes, his rule as Lord of Storm's End left a bitter taste in many mouths, cultimating in his assassination. On his way to visit King Bran upon hearing news of the King's situation he and his caravan were slaughtered by highwayman. Although the attack was blamed on banditry, it is obvious it was a politically motivated hit. Gendry bore no children, nor married, leaving the Stormlands in chaos to find a successor.

The Iron Islands: The people of the Iron Islands felt robbed of their independence, and news of the North splitting off only added fuel to the fire. The Islands have been in a state of unofficial civil war for years, with eight coup attempts against Yara Greyjoy in the last fifteen years. Despite every attempt to snuff out rebellion, the threat only seems to grow. Now with news of the apparent death of the king, she is once more forced to participate in the political machine while her home burns. The Iron Islands are once on the brink of total rebellion and peace is not an option.

The North: While the North was granted indepence, it practice it is very much part of the Six Kingdoms. Reliant on the Reach and the other kingdoms for goods, as well as being forced to bring in foreign workers to repair its devastated infastructure and crippled economy. This has caused uproar in the north, with many houses turning their backs on Queen. However not all is lost, with House Umber and Karstark stating their loyalty to Sansa, as well as the Tully's backing jer as well. However there is a grave threat one that will never cease to haunt House Stark or Sansa. A self proclaimed Bolton bastard, has gained a following among the smaller and numerous disenfranchised houses of the north. With Bran going comotose, Sansa has ridden South to try and intervene in the council, fearing for her brother's safety in the hands of the devious and coniving Great Houses of Westeros. Meanwhile Jon Snow still in exile with the Nights Watch as been forced to turn on his old allies. The Wildlings feeling betrayed by false promises of green lands and fertile soil have grown more and more agressive, and eversince the Wall fell it has become more difficult to contain them. Jon and the Watch have been working alongside House Umber, and held the free folk off for now, but its obvious that that the wildlings will not stop until they get the land they were promised. Jon has tried to open conversation between the free folk and the northern houses. Land in exchange for peache, but it is a deal that many northern houses will not be happy about.

Dorne: Dorne has remained silent for much of Bran's rule. Unlike the ironborn who have been fighting an unoffical rebellion, Quentyn Martell has worked silenty to bring Dorne to what he sees as its former glory. He has ordered a standing army to be trained and armed much to the alarm of the other kingdoms. Not to mention hushed whispers of his involvement in Gendry Baratheon's death. Rumors of Martell gold being found on one of the bandit's bodies. But of course those are just rumors, right?

Riverlands: The Tullys and Starks have always been allies and this never changed. Hoster Tully, the son of Edmure Tully and cousin of Queen Sansa has kept ties close between the two regions much to the dismay of the other houses, who view the North with contempt seeing them as traitors for leaving the Seven Kingdoms, with the War of the Five Kings still fresh in many minds. Now that King Bran has become comotose and unable to rule, Lord Hoster has declared along with Robin Arynn that the vote of a new king is unlawful.

The Vale: Robin Arynn's rule has been described as painfully uneventful. Not a great nor terrible lord, and prone to bouts of forgetfullness and and apathy. Thus it came to a shock for everyone when he declared alongside Hoster Tully (and unintentionally Sansa Stark) that the energency election was illegal as Bran was not technically dead, and any attempt to claim the throne was a crime.

The Westerlands: Tyrion Lannister proved himself a smart and fair ruler, quickly bringing the domain of the Lannisters back to glory. However with the presumed death of the king, the Westerland's new golden age is in question. Once more they may go war, and with increased miliary activity in Dorne, as well as the Vale and Riverland practically declaring alongside Sansa, it is obvious to Tyrion they are once more on the brink of war. Maybe Sam was right about democracy.

Bio

Brandon Snow was born to a bastard of an insignifact Riverlands house. His mother was a bedwarmer and petty thief who wandered between the north and the riverlands. At a young age she was thrown into the streers forced to live on her own, the cause of her lifestyle. One day while working a tavern in the north, it was ransacked by bannerman from the new ruling house. The House of Bolton. They murdered and looted the whole town, the raiding party's leader being Ramsay, the bastard son of Roose Bolton. However Allyce was not intimated by their acts of violence, much to the surprise of Ramsay. Impressed he ordered that she not be killed. Instead he took her, forcefully. He would leave her in the burning town, covered in the denizens blood and gore, alone leaving her only with a pendent of a flayed man. Several months later she would give birth to a single son. She would name him Brandon, and together they wandered from city to city.
Eventually the White Wolf would expell the Boltons and reclaim Winterfell much to the joy of the citizens of the North. Brandon or Bran as many called him learned to fight at a young age, becoming a hired blade as soon as he could, picking up from the best, learning how to read, write and kill. After ever job he would send three fourths of his pay to his mother until she passed. After his mothers death he found the flayed man pendant. His mother told him he was the bastard of a noble, but she never told him which. Now he knew. Seeking more answers to his heritage heade his way to the old ruins of the Dreadfort. During his travels he would come across a wolf pup, nursing it too health, eventually discovering he was a warg, when in Walker's body he found an ancient sword in the ruins of the Dreadfort and communed with the spirits who told him to take the throne and liberate the north.
At least thats what he said what happened. His heritage and alledged connection to the most hated house in the North is questionable, but his resemblace to Roose and his bastard is undeniable. Never the less he has taken the mantle of Bolton as symbol to rally behind, ironic as it is.
Taking inspiration from the naming scheme of the Starks and their cadet houses, Karstark and the extict Greystark, he formed House Redbolton alongside several disenfranchised bannerman and fed up nobles. He formed this House in response to Sansa's management to the North. Despite the north being independent it has become more reliant than ever on foreign aid, not only to rebuild its destroyed cities, but food importants as well, considering a large portion of the population was killed during the White Walker attacks, leaving fields empty and entire cities void of life.
Many smaller more isolated houses have been left without assistance or aid, and have protested against her policies. Bran seeing this, rallied several bannerman to him using House Bolton as a rallying symbol. Bolton is the antithesis to Stark, the thing they hate. House Bolton is everything the Starks oppose and Bran decided too use his unique position to further elevate it too a symbol of revolution by the those who consider themselves forgotten or mistreated by the Starks. He has spent the last year rallying all to his cause at the ruins of the Dreadfort. From rogue men-at-arms, to hired blades, rioting peasants and dissenting nobles he has found himself quite the following.
