Shirayuki is often described a doting housewife. He can be affectionate, kindhearted, and considerate. Despite his benign demeanor, Shirayuki is a A+ worrywart. He has a tendency putting others' necessities above his own, to the point damaging his own health. Due to his absentmindedness, Shirayuki can be forgetful, neglecting his basic needs in favor of his family.

Underneath his benevolent nature, Shirayuki has a dark side. True to his zodiac, he can be manipulative, cunning, and vindictive. While he rarely loses his temper, Shirayuki is fiercely protective of his family. Unless his loved ones are, in some way, harmed, Shirayuki refrained expressing his darker roots.

Despite his intellect, attentiveness, and resourcefulness, due to his zodiac's sensitivity to extreme temperatures, Shirayuki rarely ventured outside. Without a proper social life outside his immediate family, Shirayuki can be very gullible in certain aspects, especially the romance department. The thought of abandonment terrified him, to the point he dedicated his life caring for others, health be damned. Deep down, Shirayuki is petrified losing his loved ones, especially the feeling of uselessness. Other traits include loyal, hardworking, dexterous, self-sacrificing, and introverted.

History

After graduating high school, Shirayuki worked at home, selling paintings, sculptures, and homemade crafts. While his income was small, it paid the bills. At some point, due to his compassionate nature, Shirayuki earned the unofficial title, Sohma's housewife.

Personality:
Sakura is rather temperamental, bossy, and stubborn. However, she is very cheerful, optimistic and a loving person. She can also be a bit of a tomboy. Despite her aggressive tendencies, Sakura has a kind heart, never gives up. Sakura is always full of hope and is always cheering on for the good side of things. She almost never seems to find anything hopeless. Sakura is often a likable person she has rarely met anyone who she did not befriend. Sakura can also be a bit materialistic especially when comes to clothes. Sakura is also what you would call a fan girl. She loves boy groups and obsessing over them. She also tends to turn into a fan girl when she has a major crush on someone. She can be very blunt with it. But if it’s a small one she probably won’t bother telling you. She is brave, bold and decisive, though this sometimes leads to her acting without thinking things through. She can also be a bit ditzy sometimes.

Background:
Sakura wasn’t raised with Sohma family in fact she got live a semi normal life before she was forced back. Her mother is part of the Sohma family but is a distant relative. She knew about the curse but had never seen it for herself. She never worried about though because she never dreamed it would happen to her and was quite in shocked when she first held her baby. But she did come to love Sakura. Sakura’s father however didn’t take so well and left them. Her mother was heart broken but refused but her daughter meant more to her. She was told the best thing to do was to live with the rest of the family on the Sohma Estate which she had actually seen and was amazed at its size. In the beginning it was great everything seemed pretty normal. But then she started notice things she didn’t like the dark vibe that came from this place and some of members. She started to learn more about her family and history and was highly upset by the way the elders would treat her daughter sometimes. The mother finally had enough of the family packed up took her daughter and left. Sakura was 6 at the time. Years went by and her and Sakura lived a pretty good life. Sakura attended a all girl school to avoid getting to any trouble. Her mother even got remarried. But soon enough the head of the family had found out where they were. Sakura was forced to leave her home and come back to the Sohma family. She has actually just arrived today and She has know idea what’s next in store.

  Surprisingly, the relationship between him and Shira is friendly. Shira is one of the few males that he lowers his guard around and is probably the only one who is well acquainted with his less brash side. On multiple occasions, Namio has found himself acting ''out of character'' around him and accidentally slipping up and telling him things he wouldn't usually mention to others. Though he was concerned about it the first couple of times Namio has gradually gotten used to the fact that being around Shira causes him to run his mouth and has come to accept it, especially because the older male has never teased him about his issues or told other people about them, something which he secretly appreciates.

  Shuko can be described as ''someone who lives in the moment''. Shuko is a person who takes opportunities as they come and when it comes to anything that isn't 'right now' she's not worried about it in the slightest. In her mind, there's no use fretting about things like yesterday or tomorrow since today isn't yesterday and tomorrow won't be today it's not worth overthinking. While this mindset can be seen as somewhat admirable to a few, it leaves her to be stupidly cheerful (which can be seen as a positive trait or a negative one depending on the person) and way too easygoing at times.This often means the girl does things without thinking them completely through which usually leads to her accidentally causing more harm than good. She also has a bad habit of doing tasks (like homework, grocery shopping, etc.) at the last minute if nobody pesters her on getting them done right away.

She is emotionally driven, involving herself completely in the heartache and needs of thosearound her. Placing her whole heart in the affairs of others, as well as bearing her own heartache, she is often easily reduced to tears. Haruka has a maternal personality and often acts as a motherly figure. She is also a bit of a stickler for morality. She has a soft spot for children. Haruka is caring and compassionate, and is often marked by a fierce determination to aid others. Haruka never turns her back on people who need her.

Haruka can be overly domineering. For all herkindness and compassion, she is sometimes self-righteous, has a nasty temper, and could be fierce when provoked. With lack of sleep, this side of her can quickly become more apparent. She is also set in her ideals and frequently refuses to relent on her views in the face of opposition. Combined with her strong sense of compassion, this gives her a strong sense of justice and she will run headlong into often dangerous situations to help others. Despite being compassionate, Haruka is one of the least willing to let go of a grudge, especially against those who betray her trust. Even though Harukadoes tend to get into other's people business she is of other people's privacy. Motherly and feminine as she might be, Haruka is not afraid to go beyond her feminine looks and way of being to achieve what she wants.

Background:
Haruka lives with her father and older brother. Her mother got sick and died when she was young and since then has basically took her place in the motherly figure role. Her family owns a dojo named after their family’s name. They also live there as well. Haruka is quite knowledgeable in martial arts. Haruka is also a straight a student people always come to her whenever they need help. She’s usually always organizing and helping out with school activities. She is also student body president and captain of the swim team. On top of all that she helps out at the dojo. She’s a busy girl who sticks to the rules and stays out of trouble.

Kyo: She knows of them but has never really spoken to him unless she really had to.

He tends to be rather quiet, but if something is going wrong he'll speak up. He cares for the other zodiac's seem how they are family in a way. He tries to stay out of other people's way and often doesn't give his own opinion unless he thinks it's necessary. He never lets anyone ride him when he is in horse form it makes him feel used. It is also why he doesn't care for anyone touching his back in human form. He sometimes tends to read situations wrong and steps in when not needed, embarrassing himself. He also may seem cold and unapproachable at times. When he actually is just in a neutral mood or daydreaming about something, most likely running.

Background
Jenjo usually keeps to himself, he has been living in the Sohma residence since he was born. His mother passed away shortly after giving birth to him. So he never got to know her, his father left him as soon as he was old enough to take care of himself. In his family he has a soft spot for a certain nervous little cow. Of course he will protect any of his family as long as they weren't in the wrong. He also gets along with the God, he is way different from the one in the past. And he hopes one day they will find a way to break this awful curse that was placed on them.

She is a very gentle soul, she often tries to help others if she can. She doesn't speak out of turn, she was raised not to. She is rather shy when it comes to meeting new people so she doesn't have many friends. That doesn't bother her much though because her family are her friends, even if she is scared or doesn't know them all well. There are times when she can be energetic and playful, but they don't last long. If you get to know her she is very sweet and kind and she would listen to any problem you may have.

Background
Ruki never knew her mother or father, she was born as one of the cursed children and then left. Her parents not wanting to deal with the curse, she was mainly raised by Kouki and Jenjo. Of course Kouki was more of a father figure than Jenjo, but she still learned things from Jenjo. She grew up knowing love and kindness, but her parents betrayal still haunts her and hurts. She does her best not to let thoughts of her parents get in the way of her life. She is thankful that she isn't alone and will always be there for her family. She would do anything for her family if it wasn't for them then she very well could be dead already

Personality:
Kouki is pretty much like a family dog. Extremely loyal to his family and friends, attention-seeking, and always joking around and being a goof-ball. He's also very fatherly and is always there for anyone, whether if they seek advice or someone to listen or just someone to cry on. He loves helping out his community, especially the children at the local elementary school by being the baseball coach for the boy's little league team. Kouki is a dreamer and will often make numerous plans for different things, all to see a good portion of them be unreachable, since they are way out of his ability... and budget. His biggest plan, though, is to adopt a son and finally be the dad he's always wanted to be. He's pretty much the "uncle" towards everyone in the Sohma family, which is why everyone comes to his house to be chill and hangout so that they can get away from their daily troubles.​

Kouki's also very gullible and naïve with the ones he's loyal to. He's been known to be walked all over by many of his so-called friends, especially when he was in school himself. He can also be clumsy and ditzy, especially in the mornings when you can see him walk into walls and spill his coffee on the table. And even though everyone thinks he's a very innocent and childish man, he's been through a lot, including a very back break-up, and he has a dark side to him all his own, which only a very few people know about.​

Background:
Kouki was always a rather innocent child, from as far back as anyone could remember. He always tried to be kind and polite to the elders of the estate, even if they weren't nice to him back. He had only a few friends, with Shirayuki being his best friend, who he did his best to hang out with since the Snake was always sick and inside. In school, Kouki wasn't too scholarly what with undiagnosed ADD that hit him hard, but he made the best of his school years. There, he found his love for home-economics and base ball...and the troubles of bullying. Not that it was too bad, but still, it hurt him to see that being nice 'wasn't cool' and that he was the butt of the other kids' jokes. He didn't really care, though, since he knew most of his family members had worse times with bullying, and rather wanted to help them instead.
Years later, when he was 19, he decided to really make a life for himself. He knew he had dreams outside of the estate, and he was of age to put them to action. After pleading and promises, he was allowed to live in a house outside of his childhood home, as long as it was close and he came back for certain events. He moved to a small house, which looked more like a large single apartment, that was pretty much down the road from the estate. Since then, he's had an open-door policy and has focused on meeting his life goals. For a while it was nice. Worked at a school, helped out whoever came to his home, and even had his first girlfriend. She was beautiful, kind, caring... and then she found out. She left him, thinking she was going crazy and that he wasn't helping her get better. It almost broke him, but he kept it to himself and his closest friends, and doesn't really talk about it, even if he finds himself thinking about her here and there.
Now-adays, he doesn't date and would rather focus on his career and the possibilities to be a dad one day, while also keeping his open-door policy for anyone, family or not, if they ever needed him, or even if they just wanted to visit him.

*Shiroyuki: The Snake and the Dog are childhood bestfriends, and still are to this day. They had taken care of each other for years, and are pretty much the "dad" and "mom" of the Zodiac family.

*Sakura: Kouki and Sakura are close in the fact that the Dog acted as her big brother when the Tiger was younger. She comes to the house sometimes now and he's always happy when she does, even with the age-gap between them.

*Makoto: The two don't have the best relationship. Not that it's too bad of one, but Kouki is known to get on the Dragon's nerves by being kind-of childish and sickingly sweet in an annoying way. When they were younger, Makoto got mad at Kouki a lot for the Dog being clumsy.

*Chitose: Kouki pretty much acts as a big brother to the young Rooster. They share advice and lean on each other when need be, finding calm in the other's presence.

*Tsubasa: Kouki annoys the heck out of the Rat, even when he doesn't catch on that he's doing so. He sometimes doesn't realize that, with her and some other people, he can't get into their personal lives and be all buddy-buddy with them, although he wants to be.

*Jenjo: Kouki finds the Horse a bit mysterious and doesn't really know how to talk to Jenjo.

*Namio:

*Shuko: Kouki likes Shuko's company and finds her hilarious and sweet what with her kind of thinking and talking.

*Ruko: Kouki also acts as a father-figure/big bro to the Cow. He finds her absolutely adorable and adores spending time with her, even with the age gap.​

*Asahi: For some reason, Kouki never really did talk to the Monkey much. He doesn't remember why, maybe it was just where they lived on the estate or hobby differences, or even that small age difference that always made a huge difference as kids. But now that both are older, the Dog wants to make friends with the other and try to make up for lost time.

*Aiko: Kouki acts as a big bro to the little Goat squirt, while also being the younger one's baseball coach. The Dog always refers himself as Aiko's "uncle", even when Kouki really isn't.

*Yukio: Kouki and the family’s God are on good terms. They chat over the phone when he’s done with work, and they enjoy talking about flowers and gardening. He does find it a little unsettling when he comes to visit Yukio, though, since he and Shirayuki are the two main cousins Yukio reaches out towards whenever he gets overly emotional, which Kouki doesn’t know how to deal with, since the job of being the family head is outside of his realm of knowledge.

  Hair: Makoto has short black hair, which he used to try and style into a quiff (fashionable western style), but has recently decided to give that up and now allows it to fall naturally onto his forehead.
  Eyes: He has blue eyes, which often sparkle in the sunlight. Many people comment on his eyes because they don't expect them to be so vivid.
  Height: He is roughly 5'10" (1.77 m).
  Glasses: He wears heavy frames, and has a prescription of roughly -4 for both eyes. Despite owning contacts, he doesn't wear them as he feels weird without his glasses and will look like an idiot trying to push up a pair of glasses that aren't there.
  Piercings: Makoto currently has no piercings. In the past, Makoto had his left ear pierced, but allowed it to close up as he found them more irritating than benefiting Shirayuki didn't notice them, therefore they were useless .
  Bracelets: He has two bracelets on his left wrist. The first is a charm bracelet his mother gifted him when he was five (as she was unable to hug him due to the curse). There is a total of 22 charms on it - one for each year of his life. He receives a new one on every birthday from his mother. So far there are the 23 zodiacs, a rainbow, a doe and a stag, a unicorn, a book, a paintbrush, a music note, a guitar and a muffin. The other bracelet he wears is a friendship bracelet made for him by Shirayuki which is alternating colours between stone grey and deep blue.
  Style: Makoto is very smart and neat. This means that most of his outfits consist of trousers, shirts and dress shoes. His favourite shirt is a light blue one which Shira told him complimented his eyes once. Usually the most 'casual' he gets is loosening his tie or undoing the top button of his shirt. The only times he doesn't wear complete smart dress is when promised a baking day with Shirayuki, or when doing exercise. Once in a while he'll wear a knitted jumper over his shirt, and wear jeans instead of trousers and someone always has to comment about it being the end of the world

  Makoto is a creative soul. He spends hours of his time in creative mediums, whether that be writing, art, theatre, music. He hides himself among these mediums, and expresses his emotions only through his art. Other than the emotions within his art, Makoto has a balanced demeanour, and rarely gets overly emotional, whether happy or sad. The only time he gets overtly emotional is when protecting Shira from Kouki. He often becomes angry or jealous when they are spending time together, and will often try to separate the two by taking up Shira's attention. Makoto dislikes how close they are.
  Makoto, despite his love of the arts, is working hard to become a good lawyer. This is because he wants to earn enough money to convince Shira to live with him (although he has neglected to tell Shira this).   Makoto is friends with The God. He spends some time every week with Yukio, playing the piano for them and talking with them, as well as providing some of the tutoring that Yukio needs due to not being able to leave the estate.
  Shirayuki
  Makoto would consider Shirayuki his closest friends. They've been very close since they were children and it's not clear why. Their personalities aren't very similar, but Makoto worries heavily about Shira's physical condition. He continuously will put Shira above himself, whether that be buying him things when he doesn't have the money, or protecting Shira from danger. Makoto has a crush on Shira, although he doesn't admit it.
  Kouki
  Makoto hates Kouki with a passion. He's always been jealous of the amount of time Kouki spends with Shira, and has always felt angry around the dog for no real reason. When they were younger, the dog was known to get on Maoto's nerves due to his clumsiness, and was heavily yelled at when he damaged some of Makoto's art. This is probably where the hatred partially stemmed from.
  Tsubasa
  Makoto and Tsu often spend a few days a month together doing artwork in silence, with soft instrumental music for ambience and inspiration. They have a friendship that is formed through their love for creativity, rather than any conversation they've had.

  Makoto was born on the 15th of April, and it was raining when he was born. He was two months premature (like always) and his mother wasn't able to hold him without him turning into a seahorse. When he was told he was the dragon, he was 4. He didn't really understand what it meant, but he loved the small rocks that he'd been shown to paint, and continues with the tradition to this day. His mother didn't become distant like some others did. He would still get a kiss goodnight despite it causing him to become a seahorse, and they would still play hide and seek together.
  Makoto preferred his mother to his father because his father wasn't so accepting of the news - his mother was the Sohma in his family tree and so when his father heard the news of the curse he became more distant and less trusting of his wife. Despite this mistrust in the relationship, his father didn't leave the family and still tried to be a father, especially as he appreciated that he was the one who could change his son. Perhaps it would have been different if Makoto was a girl.
  His favourite childhood memory was of him and Shira playing in the gardens. He can't remember what they are playing, or if they are playing with anyone else, but he can specifically remember the pure, blinding, blissful happiness that filled him when playing with Shira.
  When he was younger, his mother would often use the pet name 'Ken' when referring to him, as she viewed him as being strong despite being slightly weaker than other children due to the curse.

Personality: When Asashi was younger, he was much more mischievous, and playful In nature, he has changed via maturity for the most part though. Every now and again though he may seem like his old self so to speak. Asahi could be described as clever, inventive, flexible and decisive. In addition, a perfectionist, he does not hesitate to use every trick to achieve his aims, while this can be quite helpful at times at others the perfectionism can be debilitating to a degree, if he obsesses over achieving said perfection. He is savvy and skilled when it comes to negotiation. He is also quick to make which decision he deems best. Although sometimes he may be preoccupied with short term gain in mind instead of the big picture. He does however quite enjoy, and care about/love his family, and he is generally a sociable person. Asashi also tries to keep an open mind to the best of his ability. In addition he has a excellent memory and a desire for knowledge. While Asahi is very slow to anger or for that matter get hurt on a personal level ,it may take him a while to warm up again and forgive, depending on the severity of the affliction.

Background: Asahi for the most part grew up on the family estate. When he was a young child he was quite mischievous and rambunctious, He tinkered around a lot, took things apart, played around ect. Once Asahi became older he began to collect, barter, and begin his photography. As a result Asahi has amassed many photos, collectible items, and various trinkets from all over the place. As Asahi got better and better at Photography, he eventually began to sell his photos which were quite remarkable actually, it probably helped that he was an excellent climber able to get to many spots which seemed quite unusual, it definitely helped that he had the monkey within in that regard. What wasn't so helpful was the whole turn into Zodiac animal if hugged by the opposite gender outside of the family whole thing, but alas that only led to a few very awkward situations growing up for Asahi. Eventually however once Asahi had raised himself enough money he eventually would buy himself a small house, very close to the estate naturally, since he couldn't very well wander too far it seemed. Close enough that the estate was really only half an hour away which was quite helpful in actuality, it gave him his own place for all of his stuff so that his clutter wouldn't effect others , and he could have some privacy if he wished so it was really a win-win situation. To this day he has continued regular trips over to the estate virtually daily, and has continued his photography.

Kyo is the only child in his family. Both his parents work for a huge magazine business in Japan. The family traveled a lot so Kyo never got to settle down and have friends. As he went from school to school he always found a way to make a good first impression on people. His parents hated that he traveled around so much so they sent him to live with his grand father who was a martial arts teacher. Kyo started training at ten years old with his grandfather and trained with him until his grandfather past away four years later. He began to travel with his parents again but continued training as they traveled

Kyo also began falling in love with music and dancing. He switched back and forth between his two hobbies. When Kyo turned 16 his parents decided to get an apartment so he could settle down into school. His parents still traveled a lot but they always made sure to come see him. At school Kyo is known by everyone but for several reason. Some people call him the loner, the party guy, and many other names. He doesn't stick with one crowd and doesn't have any super close friends to speak of at the school.

Ai Fujito: Classmate; Kyo loves teasing Ai. The first time the met he tried to flirt with her and she hated it. So to tease every once in a while he'll walk up to her and flirt with her just to get on her nerves. He does it hoping to break her out of her poker face attitude.

Tsubasa Sohma: Classmate; Kyo tolerates Tsubasa most of the time. The two get along during class assignment but that is the only interaction they've had so far. She gave him the nickname "You" and at first he didn't like it. However he got use to it and soon others at school was calling him by the nickname.

Haruka Tsutsukakushi: Classmate; Kyo has never talked to Haruka but he's seen her around school. He has taken a huge interest in her personality and is curious to find out more about her.

Kira Sohma: The two boys get along incredibly together. When Kyo first move to the school Kira caught him playfully flirting with one of the girls at school. This sparked a conversation between the boys and the instantly clicked. After that they talked a few more times before school and classes drove them apart. However a new school year is about to start so maybe a new friendship can spark between the two.

Shirayuki Sohma: Kyo has only met Shirayuki once. They met at a grocery store where Kyo seen him carrying several bags of groceries. During the time Kyo was working part time at the shop and decided to help him out. Has not seen him since.

Ai Fujito was born to a mother and a father. Although she had two parents, she was, and felt, alone. Her mother and father would constantly argue and fight... and it would even get to the point where they had to use their fists or hands. They would neglect her by totally forgetting about her and going out to dinner or drink together, leaving Eva home almost all the time. Because of this, she has grown independent and doesn't need a parent's supervision.

Ai grew very distant, and thought that no one would pay attention to her thoughts and such, so she kept to herself. She would usually spend her days outside at the library or cafe to study and such. Because of this habit, she got good grades and stayed top in her classes. However, because she kept to herself, she grew cold and rude. When someone would want to talk to her, she would push them away and ignore them. Sometimes, she would say snide and rude comments at them.

Because of her actions, she slowly became the gossip-topic in her schools and classes. However, since her cold and calm personality alarms many people, no one usually talked to her about it and such.

Ai grew to love music. She loved to sing and play songs on the piano. It's the only place where she can escape from reality at anytime. And frankly, she was good at it. She loved to draw, because it could help her imagine worlds that seem like reality. Reading took her to places that she couldn't even imagine. It gave her many personalities and character traits than her own.

Aiko is one of the youngest zodiacs in the family. He can be a big goof ball around people he loves and cares about. He's very adventurous which gets him into trouble sometimes. Aiko never met his mother. At child birth she was disgusted at the sight of him and asked to never seen the child again. This caused the father to have a grudge against the boy because his wife left him. He never spent time with his son. Aiko was mainly raised by the maid that worked in the house, who became a mother to him. Most of the time Aiko father ignore him but at times Aiko's father would go into fits of rage yelling at the boy for no reason. To get his mind off hid father neglect the goat joined the baseball team which gave him a reason to leave the estate after school hours. Despite the hardships Aiko always seem to stay optimistic and keep a smile on his face.

Tsubasa Sohma (Rat):
Aiko absolutely loves Tsubasa. He loves when she comes to baby sit and sees her as the sibling he never had. Even though they are close he still doesn't talk about his relationship with his father to her, but he still sees her as someone that will be there for him.

Kira Sohma (Rooster):
Aiko loves hanging out with the rooster. He loves his jokes and silly puns he tells. Aiko loves telling stories to Kira and he always listens to him. Aiko makes fun of the rooster when he gets scared and the two pick at each other like actual brothers.

Shirayuki Sohma (Snake):
Aiko always enjoys seeing Shirayuki, because he knows he will always give him some kind of sweet treat. He also enjoys talking to the adult because he actually listens to Aiko.

He cares for him so much that he even calls him "uncle", even though they aren't related. Kouki was the one to get Aiko into baseball. He spends much of his free time playing in front of Kouki's home.

Aiko enjoys seeing Yukio when he gets a chance. Aiko is still a bit shy around the god though because of his place in the family. His favorite thing to do is walk around with Yukio around the estate

Aiko has seem him around the estate, mainly seen with Shirayuki. He tries to talk to him sometimes but there conversations are very short.

Aiko has only met Asahi a few times. A couple times he caught him taking pictures and had begged him to let him see them. He enjoys talking to Asahi and finds him pleasant to be around.

Personality:
Yukio is the kind of person who hates being what he's supposed to be, but doesn't know how to stop being who he's supposed to be. Ever since he could remember, he's wanted to be the hero of the cursed, to lift the curse and allow everyone, including him, to be happy, but never did know how to do just that. Because of his position, his body takes a beating with the power he holds, and therefore he's usually sick or too weak to do much, which he absolutely hates. Because of his need to stay in bed, he reaches out to anyone for company, but because of his childishness and innocence of the outside world, along with other various reasons that include health usually, not many people visit him. For that reason, he's developed a separation-anxiety-disorder, and he hates when he's left alone even for a little while.
On the flip side, he's a very kind and gentle soul. He's the kind of guy who grows multiple kinds of plants and names all of them, talks to the birds outside as if they were close friends, and is open to and even encourages anyone visiting him. He constantly has music of all different genres (mostly choir and orchestra) playing, a book by his side, and a notebook that he writes in before he goes to sleep. He's also very book-smart and enjoys when he has home-schooling, and likes to share what he's learned to anyone who comes over, if they end up talking about the subjects he's learnt.
Even though he likes it when people come to see him, he does harbor jealousy towards pretty much everyone. He's jealous that they are healthy and relatively happy and can talk to anyone they wish to, but he tries his best to keep that part of him to himself. Instead, he tries to always see the best in others and in the everyday. Occasionally, though, his feelings do come forward, especially when he overthinks it and about not knowing how to get rid of the curse, and it makes him stressed and emotional, which leads to him to having little temper tantrums that he keeps to himself, though thankfully they don't happen too often. He will sometimes pout and practically beg for people to come over, even if they are busy. All-in-all, he's just a plain lonely child-like man, and just wants to be like everyone else and be the hero he had made himself out to need to be since he was little.

Background:
Yukio was born to parents who expected everything of him. To be the perfect child who would rule the family when he got older, and to live out the traditions of the Zodiac God. When he was really young, and even now, he's looked up to the older members of the Zodiac, and when he finally found out about the curse, he vowed to find out how to lift it to help who he called his friends, since he never did leave the estate for health reasons. Speaking of his health, it should be said that he misses being a child since that was when he was is healthiest and when he was able to play with his cousins, but as he got older and became a teenager, he took a turn for the worse and now has troubles with stamina, blood pressure, and asthma, which all cause him to be susceptible to various illnesses that keeps him bed-ridden. For a while, people came to keep him company and to help him get better, including his cousins. But then he just kept getting sick, and everyone else continued with their lives. That was when he started to become lonely. Ever since then, he's tried to find ways to entertain himself while in his room, which was when he started to write, read, and start a garden, but it was never enough to make him truly happy. He saw everyone else through his bedroom window, playing and having fun, chatting, walking around... and he was jealous. So, so jealous. So much that it hurt and it made him want to do things he had never wanted before, and didn't want to once he cleared his head again. He hated that part of himself, and he bottles up those feelings so that he could give anyone who came a smile so they wouldn't leave him.
It should also be said that the God's reputation had been blotched from the beginning, since most of the past Gods haven't been kind, and Yukio's father wasn't an exception. When Yukio was young, he didn't make many decisions for the family, and his father instead was the one who made the Rat become close to Yukio, Chitose to learn how to suppress memories, and was partially the reason that Sakura left with her mother, since he wasn't nice to either of the two for having left the Sohma estate the first time and calling them terrible things because of that. Yukio never knew until his father died when he was twelve years old, and that was when the position of God came at the poor kid full force. His mother tried her best to be the head of the family and to be a better one, just until Yukio was older but she had to go through a lot of ridicule for that to happen from the family elders. Yukio could always tell when his mother was upset and he did as much as he could, but after he turned eighteen, she was forced to leave the family estate and to hand over all familial responsibilities to Yukio, who at that point felt like a lonely orphan, which was another reason he now depends on the company of the cursed, for they didn't treat him like the terrible elders did.

Relationships:
*Chitose: Yukio looks at Chitose as an interesting and quite mysterious fellow. The God feels like they could get along if the Rooster wasn't mad at him for a reason that was always lost to Yukio, although he finds being with Chitose a little unsettling.

*Shirayuki: Yukio sees the Snake as a big brother of sorts. Since they both get sick a lot, he knows Shirayuki can understand him in a way not many other people can, and for that he is grateful. Another plus is that they live relatively close, in walking distance to be more exact, so the Snake is the one family member he hangs out with most.

*Tsubasa: For a while, when they were young kids, the two were close. At that point, Yukio didn't know that this friendship was basically forced from the very beginning. Alas, after Tsu saw Yukio becoming friends with Shirayuki, it seemed like she deemed the Snake the "closest to God" and she started to get mad at the two and immensely jealous, which had always confused Yukio cause he still thought they were friends. Now their relationship is rocky, and whenever she visits they don't talk much and she scolds/yells at him for different things she doesn't like him doing.

*Sakura: During Yukio's childhood, he didn't know about Sakura leaving the Estate, until his father passed away. It was then that he found out about her leaving from being treated badly by the family, and because of that, he wanted to mend things over with her, so he invited her back to the estate recently so that they could form a hopefully good relationship. Maybe she could be a friend! What he didn't know was that this move hurt the Tiger.

*Namio:

*Shuko: Yukio likes Shuko, but with her procrastination they don't really see each other unless she has to come because she's one of the cursed. He does, however, like to talk to her when she does come.

*Haruka: Who? Hasn't met them yet.

*Jenjo: The two are good friends, and whenever the Horse visits Yukio, they tend to always go to the topic of the curse and how to break it, although neither of them have a clue about how to do that.

*Ruki: Yukio thinks Ruki is adorable in a little-sister kind of way, even if they aren't considered "close" friends. He's always open for her to visit, though, and does enjoy her company.

*Kouki: Yukio looks up to the Dog and finds him to be a close friend. They talk on the phone a lot, especially at night when Kouki isn't busy with the elementary school he works at. Kouki, along with Shira, seem to be a few of the closest cursed to the God.

*Mokoto: The two are pretty close. Whenever the Dragon comes to visit, he always plays music for Yukio, and whenever Mokoto isn’t studying himself, he helps tutor the God, which Yukio really does appreciate.

*Asahi: Yukio looks up to the Monkey, and even though it hurt when Asahi asked him about getting his own place instead of staying at the estate, Yukio couldn't say no. Instead, he tries to call Asahi as much as he deems respectful, so that when no one can come over he still won't be too lonely.

*Kyo: Who? Hasn't met them yet.

*Ai: Who? Hasn't met them yet.

*Aiko: Yukio thinks the little Goat is extremely cute and is always happy when the child comes to visit, even if Yukio seems to intimidate Aiko out of the difference in age. Whenever Yukio is well enough, they go out on little walks, which the God appreciates a lot. ​

PERSONALITY
Coming off as the rebellious type, many stray away from Sei. Her hair and eyes are an odd color, but her gaze is sharp making people feel like they are bare in front of her. Regardless of all that, Sei is pretty easy going to those she actually has the chance to talk to. She is understanding, empathetic, and even a little bit of a flirt...okay a lot. Her goal in life to make others feel good about themselves which might include hitting on everyone she meets.

Sei use to have a rather bad temper, but has long since developed that. She does have an issue expressing her true emotions so sometimes, when pushed to the edge (very rare) she lashes out with claws at who ever is closest. It is because of her troubles times that she has become such an understanding and accepting person, though, even though some still see her as the hard, headed fist first tomboy she use to be.

Like a stray cat, Sei is often seen everywhere and no where. She gets into places she shouldn't be and out of places she wasn't meant to be in. Being a smooth talker, she usually rubs a couple legs and gets out of all sorts of trouble, though she doesn't mean to cause trouble, she is just curious. Sei likes to challenge herself and she enjoys a good competition, but she is humble to lose.

Sei's greatest weakness is her inability to express her emotions freely. She hides behind a playful mask of indifference and takes on everyone else's problems without solving her own.

Background
Sei was born to a rather rebellious mother which is one of the reasons she dresses the way she does. Her mother was a stunning woman with sharp green eyes, like almonds and she had many betrothals, but she wished for none of them. Born in the sohma family with a brother that had been one of the zodiac, Sei's mother lived a life of luxury, but wanted none of it. She would sneak out at night and even lived on the streets for awhile. People claim she was cursed from the beginning and that is why she was given the cat as a child.

Sei was born in secret away from the sohma household and she was actually quite loved by her mother, who was proud of her being the cat. "It means you are more free than you know," she would tell her daughter. The rest of her family was not as welcoming or kind and kicked the two out. Not only was Sei what they considered a bastard child, but she was also the cat. Still, her childhood was rather great. Her mother dotted on her and thanked her everyday for her new found freedom.

The happiness only lasted until Sei was 10 when her mother just wasn't home when she came back from school. Sei looked everywhere, but her scent was no where to be found. Sei became cornered by some strange men, she fought back out of fear and anger, and ended up having her bracelet ripped off of her causing her awful transformation. She had never actually seen herself and became afraid, but also ashamed as the men ran screaming.

Sei was soon collected by the sohma household, her beads fixed and she placed them on her ankle instead where she would wear boots to hide them. Her mother was never found, but she realized she couldn't live the same careless life she had. None of her family claimed her except a great uncle who had made her bracelet. She lived with him for the remainder of her childhood, but when she became a teen she stopped always staying there. She would come by to eat and maybe sometimes sleep, but that is when she started roaming the town. No one is really sure what she does.

Katsu Sohma- Rat- Sei doesn't prefer to be around him as she dislikes being disliked. She honestly could care less about the damn curse story, but she has given up trying to convince him otherwise. As a child, she use to be rather pushy in trying to convince him to be her friend, but it became clear that her being a cat would always make him dislike her. Ruki Sohma- Cow/Ox- Sei finds Ruki completely lovable. She has a slight weakness for cute, shy things so she sometimes ends up petting her and hugging her unconsciously. Sakura Sohma- Tiger- As children, Sei had a hard time getting along with Sakura that had a similar personality to her own, but she never disliked her. They would end up in fights with one of them crying, but they would always be back to playing the next time. Since they both lived off the estate, they saw each other the most. Now, as older children, Sei grew to be more calm and tamed, but this allows her to get along well with Sakura's personality. animegirl20

Shirayuki Sohma- Snake- Sei finds Shira a little off putting at times, but she likes him all the same. He can sometimes put her off in certain situations, but most the time she finds that he is very considerate and warm to be around. He provides a family atmosphere and reminds her of her dad at times. Jenjo Sohma- Horse- Sei is a tad indifferent towards Jenjo. She likes him just fine, but hates to have conversations with him since it is like talking to herself and she finds herself annoying sometimes. As long as she isn't the only one talking with him, she is fine.

Yukio Sohma- God- Sei does not harbor any ill will towards Yukio. They are the same age and she knows it isn't his fault for who they are. She does feel suffocated by him and feels she is the least liked by the group since she doesn't exactly belong, but she is fine staying away from him. PERSONALITY|
The most distinct and apparent thing about Sohma (aside from his ridiculous red hair) is his overflowing confidence. This guy is also cocky and quite the troublemaker. Kira is also blunt and his bluntness is often misunderstood as being mean although he just prefers being honest than giving a sympathetic lie. Despite these, he is compassionate, showing his concern for others through his own ways. Primarily by cracking a joke and doing his best to make them smile. He is also boisterous and always talk in an animated way. He likes to crack terrible jokes and puns at the most terrible times.

Kira is also a scatterbrain and total clutz, he probably knocked thirteen or so vases over his lifetime. He is also easily afraid and finds various of way to back out from danger. (I guess you can call him a chicken.. badum tss.!!)

BACKGROUND
Kira was born and lived all his life inside the Sohma clan's compound. He doesn't really have that much of a drama in his life. His strict mother was the Sohma who married a happy-go-lucky man and the two are happily married to this day. Kira's mother is an uptight woman but his father balances it because he keeps on spoiling little Kira.

As a kid Kira was figuratively everywhere. He is full of energy so he bounces everywhere and hangs out with literally everyone. He picked a lot of fights and ran from most of them but would most likely tell all his friends that he won each and every of them.

One day while he was trying to outrun a bully, he hid inside a chicken coop. The seven-year old was exhausted from running and a fever was rising because he stayed under the rain for too long. Due to these, he was introduced to the curse. If Kira is hugged by an opposite sex or is under great stress or exhaustion, he turns into a rooster. His mom ended up telling him all of this and the poor boy cried at first. His father jumped in and told him that "It'll all go away soon! Just think of it as your own superpower."

He met children just like him and it helped him cope with the curse.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Sakura - The two of them met each other in a peculiar way. Kira picked a fight with some local bullies his age and the pink-haired was there to witness said event. Obviously he couldn't defeat them so he ran away but when he looked back he realized that the bullies started picking on Sakura. He felt guilty so he ran back and meddled with them. The bullies turned their backs on Sakura and started hitting him instead. Then a pinkish tiger suddenly came out of nowhere and started biting the bullies. They ran away leaving a confused Kira who sooner realized that it was Sakura. From then on Sakura would cling around him and claim him to be her boyfriend which in turn made him feel embarrassed. It surprised him when she suddenly disappeared one day and it turned out that she moved away without saying anything to him. Kira would never admit it but he idolizes her strength and the fact that he can fend off herself and others.

Shuko - Kira and Shuko met when his mother suddenly declared that he will be babysitting a friend's child younger than him for two years. He was upset and didn't want to do it but he knew better than to disobey his mother. So he ended up watching over Shuko and he was doing a really bad job at it too. Shuko didn't listen to any of his commands much to his chagrin and he busied himself reading his comic books. In short it turned into a disaster and his mother was anything but happy when she came home after. After that, Shuko and Kira would always fight and compete with each other until now. Kira likes teasing her and comes up with various nicknames for her. Sometimes they also have their moments in which the two of them would get along. Kira thinks that she has the brightest smile in the household. After his, of course.

Aiko - Kira sees Aiko as his younger brother. He likes cracking jokes and making puns when they're around each other. He likes to take Aiko into adventures although most of the time it would only turn into trouble.

Makoto - Kira dislikes it when Makoto would control his actions and tell him off. Makoto keeps on babying Kira much to his chagrin. Makoto reminds Kira of his mother which is not a bad thing at all.

Kouki - Kouki is just the type of person Kira loves to prank. Kira thinks he easily falls into one of his pranks and he finds his reaction to them hilarious. Kira looks up to him and find his fatherly nature comforting. He will never admit that though.

Yukio - Kira treats Yukio like how he treats most of his friends. He doesn't mind his title at all and most of the time he even forgets about it. When they were younger, Kira would always pester him to join him in one of his adventures because he thinks that he must be sad and lonely in his bed. He likes to keep Yukio in company because he dislikes it when he sees anyone sad and alone. He wants to make him smile.

Kyo Ikeda - Kyo and Kira met when the former flirted with a girl and Kira happened to overhear it. He couldn't contain his laughter and he ended up snickering. From then on the two started talking and spent time with each other until they

Ai Fujito - Kira finds Ai interesting although he would often get scared of her grimness. He thinks she's kind of creepy and sometimes hesitates to approach her. He feels like she wants to be left alone most of the time but that didn't stop him from pestering her once in a while. He keeps on joking around when she's around just to see a smile on her face or at least any signs of reaction aside from annoyance.

Katsu is a very intelligent boy. He's very athletic and loves sports. He's determined and well spirited. However, he's also very cold and ruthless. He's really rude, but once you get to know him, he's a sweet and innocent flower who is very fragile. He's very gentle at times, but he doesn't like to show it. He's a bit of a tsundere. Katsu was born in a very strict and elegant family. He was born to a rich mother who hated to get her hands dirty. When she found out he was born with the curse, she was alarmed, and usually stayed out of his way. Why? She think rats and mice are dirty little creatures who don't deserve a place in this world. His mother wouldn't really pay much attention to him, which allowed Katsu to do whatever he wanted, eat whatever he wanted, and go anywhere where he wanted... like a rat.

However, Katsu decided to continue his studies and such. Even in a young age, he studied to be the very best, and make his mother proud of him. Sure, he was top in his classes, but his mother still never paid attention to him.

Because of his good looks, most women tend to fall in love with him, however, Katsu didn't feel the same. He would turn everyone down, including women who tried to be um.. "seductive". Because of this, most people think he's a homosexual, which is false.

Katsu soon started to love writing. He wrote many stories that involved him living with a mother who loved him... people like him... and so on. He loved to write and teleport to many different places that he's in charge of. However, these realities are false.

Then, one of his stories came true. The one where there are others like him? Yeah, he found other children and other people who suffers from the curse as well.
