BOO JAE PO
The scorching heat rained down on Jae Po as he waited outside his mom's car. His younger brother was bringing way too much stuff. "I told you to wing it... Mom sends money for food, and she can always bring over more stuff," He muttered as he watched his brother carry the last bag into the back seat. His eyes gazed from his stressed brother and up to his chubby mother. Her white cardigan was snug around her yellow sundress as she rushed outside. He didn't understand how she was able to wear that. Sure, it wasn't extremely hot, but wearing a sweater could certainly drive you insane. Perhaps she wanted to look nice for all of his friends, and not embarrass him.
"Get in the car," She rushed as she attempted not to trip over herself while walking down the stairs. Jae Po complied and climbed into the passenger seat. The car's air seemed 10 times hotter than the air outside, which made him feel even worse.
The air conditioner chilled the car down to a comfortable temperature. It was almost like the opening of a drama; looking out the window dramatically, waiting to accidentally bump into the love of your life. Except there would be no love; just depressing school. The car drove by the school's large campus and pulled into the apartment complex.
"Finally," He groaned as he stepped out of the car. He pulled the rectangular device from his pocket to contact his friends. He hummed softly as he looked through his messages and listened to his brother struggle with his luggage.
To group chat: idiots
jaepopo: are any of you here yet or on your way? i need an escort. wink wonk.
He sent the text with a sly grin. It made not of been a solid joke, but it still managed to amuse him. He turned back to look at his younger brother who was trying to grasp everything at once. "Ugh, I can get my friends to help. Put your stuff down, moron."
"Jae Po!" His mother scolded. "Don't call your brother that." She stood there with her hands on her hips. He plainly stared at her caked on makeup and rolled his eyes. She had been really trying him lately, or maybe he had never noticed how she spoke to him. He just blindly followed everything she said.
