Hunter decided he had heard enough and slowly staked forward, "It's not polite to talk about someone when they're listening." He growled grabbing the mans throat when he was sure no one was looking and squeezed quickly, breaking the cigarette man's neck. The cigarette fell the floor silently as Hunter released his hold, the man wasn't dead. Merely paralyzed. Though the sudden influx of pain sent the mystery man into an unconscious state.

Hunter turned his piercing green eyes to Elle. "So. Do you believe him?" He asked quietly, a sliver of nervousness running through his system. He did see Elle as a means to an end, but there was more than that. He saw her as a friend almost.

Elle presses her lips together, giving the man nothing more than a glare in response to his question. When Hunter materializes from within the men's restroom, as though summoned her eyes dart to him almost frantically. Elle's mouth falls open as she watches Hunter grab the man by the throat and deftly squeezed until a loud pop echos down the hallway. She jerks back, as though hit herself while the man falls limply to the ground, his burning cigarette tumbling from his fingers. She thinks he is dead, when she's finally able to drag her eyes away from his still form on the dirty floor.

"I don't think now's the time," she mutters to Hunter's question. Her eyes flicker from Hunter standing before her to the ginger who'd pulled some sort of radio device from his jacket and spoke into it- too quietly for her to hear. Before she can open her mouth again the fire alarm blares to life and the sprinklers over head instantly begin dousing the hallway with a steady shower. Elle gasps softly, starting at the sudden noise and feel of water running down her face. Her first thought is of the man's cigarette now laying somewhere on the ground beside him, but it had gone out, which meant someone else had set off the alarm.

"Well, time to disappear into the crowd." He muttered, pulling Elle behind him gently through the crowd scrambling for the door. He found Lydia, Tommy, and Tommy's parents after having escaped the building. "Well, this night could've gone better." Richard commented with a deadpan.

"But what about-" Elle's words are cut off as Hunter tugs her down the hallway and back to the fundraiser hall, which was quickly growing empty. The other man who'd been in the hallway had disappeared when the alarm sounded. Elle finds herself searching for him in the masses of people moving through the exit.  Water runs over her cheeks as they push through the near frantic crowd- although they semed more frantic about their ruined hair and dresses than the threat of danger. Elle grasps Hunters hand, wincing when a elbow is thrown into her side. When they finally push out into the cold night air, Elle breathes in a gasp mildly relived to be reunited with Lydia and Tommy. She brushes her damp hair, now laying flat over shoulders away from her face. When Lydia asks if they were okay, Elle offers a distracted nod- her thoughts on the men from before.

Hunter scanned the while ignoring Lydia, Elle, and Tommy. He was looking for anyone who was a possible threat, but a man on a roof caught his eye once more. The same man as Last night. After a small stare off, Hunter blinked and the man had seemingly vanished, Leaving the blonde experiment to stare at the place the mystery man had been a moment longer.

Elle's attention shifts to Hunter, when he stiffens slightly at her side. Her gaze follows his own, to the hospital rooftops, but a frown turns down her lips seeing nothing or no one there. Which of course didn't mean there hadn't been. Elle bites down on the inside of her cheek, as the crowd shifts allowing a cluster of firefighters to pass and enter the building. She didn't think it was actually on fire, someone had simply tripped the alarm and possibly ruined quite a bit of equipment through the sprinkles, but they'd only wanted people moved outside. Why, though? Elle twists around somewhat, peering past a group of women bemoaning their ruined designer dresses. When her eyes light on a familiar speck of red hair, she reaches out grabbing Hunter's wrist lightly.

Hunter turned to Elle when he felt the small pressure of her had on his wrist. Seeing the panic in her eyes, he followed her gaze. It didn't take long to spot what she was staring at, and he had to do a double take to make sure he wasn't mistaken. Something wasn't right. "Come on." He whispered to her before leading her deeper into the crowd. He grabbed Lydia's arm while telling her and Tommy to follow, using a tone that left no room for questions or argument.

Elle frowns, dragging her eyes away from the man just before he's swallowed by the shifting crowd. She keeps a hold on Hunter's arm, as they slip through the mass of bodies between them and the parking area. "Where?" She murmurs, shooting Lydia and Tommy a quick look and noting their confused expressions. Tommy in particular, appeared to be on the verge of arguing, probably thinking he'd need to stay and help his parent's sort things out. For now though, the two of them trail behind Hunter and Elle, keeping any question's they had to themselves.
