Forum RP vs Thread

The Inkeeper

Protector of The Weary
I'm pretty recent to the site, not to mention role playing online. I've noticed that there is recruitment for both forum and thread roleplays and I was wondering what the difference is. Could anybody fill me in?

Forum Roleplays give the creator entire forums when they can have as many threads as they want. It's for large projects with complex rules. it's for games that build something big.

Thread Roleplays are simple games that most people are used to. you get a thread to roleplay in, a thread of characters, and a thread for out of character talk.

In general Thread roleplays are better for quick games, whereas forums are for large projects intended to last a long time.
