It has been over a hundred and fifty years since a plague emerged from Kaffa to various ports across the Mediterranean world. The plague spread like wildfire, destroying every man, woman and child in its path and bringing civilization to its knees. However, the disaster that has come to be known to the survivors as the Black Death was much worse the stories then what was expected. Europe, Arabia, Northern Africa, Asia and beyond...whatever the plague touched was completely destroyed. Humanity was almost on the verge of extinction, with as much as 92% of the entire plague-ridden world was killed. As the dust clears, what is left is nothing but silence...
The year is 1502, and the world is a very different place. The isolated or the lucky who survived the plague began to rebuild the world. What the future of this world is yet to be is unsure, as a new terror from across the seas is emerging...
