Weakness:
Tends to go 'insane' during storms, with the urge to let it dance through her. This makes her dangerous to those around her, as her only priority becomes getting into the storm, and she would be likely to harm anyone between her and it. For this reason, when she can feel a storm brewing, she will often disappear to the basement and have someone lock her inside until the storm stops. Also tends to be weaker after this.
May 'short circuit' if forced underwater. Can't swim.

Backstory:
Born into the Astra pack, Artemis was powerful, but often cast aside, even as a child. This was due to her lack of control, and the danger she posed to the rest of the flock. However, the older she became, the more controlled she got, and she started to rise through the ranks. As a Beta, she disappeared for a while, returning pregnant, refusing to admit who the father was, and often getting upset when anyone pushed. Soon after her child, Levi, was born, the previous Alpha died, leaving Artemis as the new Alpha for Astra pack.

She played her role well. Juggling the care of her child and of the pack was hard, but with peaceful times around them there wasn't much to fear. Of course, everything went wrong when a storm hit, whilst she was out with little Levi, teaching him to fly. She went crazy, and when she returned to herself she found blood on her snout, and her child gone. She searched and search, but eventually came to the realisation that she had murdered her own child.

Since then, with no idea that Levi is actually alive, she has locked herself away every storm. She also refuses to speak of the matter, which only happened two years ago.

Born into the pack, Ash was named rather ironically. As a young hatchling, it was unknown what her power would be. However, her parents, both fire wielding dragons, believed she'd inherit their power. Therefore, the nickname of Ash came about. It wasn't long after that she made a tiny puff of mist. It was always believed that she'd get stronger, but she can barely manage to keep herself cold in warm temperatures with the small amount of frost she can make. She is also very small in her dragon form, around only half the size of the average fully grown dragon.

Mechanical Manipulation - The ability to make anything remotely mechanical do as he pleases, if it's in the realms of it's abilities. Of course, there isn't much mechanical items out there, but he likes to spend time creating his own. Little mechanical birds are his favourite and, whilst they don't do much more than fly around and perch on his shoulder, he loves making them. So the birds can fly, despite their weight, because they have wings. Similarly, mechanical things modelled after animals can do as that animal would, as long as it's mechanics can move in such a way. Parts of his body are also mechanical, made by him, since he was injured long ago. The pieces on his dragon form disappear when he shifts, bonded to his dragon form in the same way his scales would be. However, his right leg in his human form, as well as his back right leg in his dragon form, is always mechanical, the form of the mechanics just switches to fit his form.

Weakness:
Water. Short circuits his mechanics and can, if left long enough, rust them.
Also needs to have made the mechanical pieces before hand, cannot create them from thin air.

Backstory:
Astiel was born to an average shifter, and a powered one. His father was a fire wielding dragon. Life was sweet, and safe, until his mother was killed during a violent attack from some unknown beast. His father, away hunting at the time, returned to find Astiel cowering under his mothers wing, despite her being dead. Life from then on became difficult, as his father blamed Astiel for everything. He was beaten, abused, and ultimately left for dead after an accident on his fathers behalf that ended with Astiel losing his leg, the end of his tail and earning damaged wings. Only 16 at the time, he was picked up and nurtured back to health by the Astra pack, who took him in.

Since then he built himself mechanical legs, one for his human form and one for his dragon. Strangely, the legs seemed to bond with the forms they were meant for, and don't fall off when he shifts. The plates and joints he also made were added to his dragon form, to strengthen his wings and tail, ended up doing the same.

Super Speed - Levi can run / fly at speed far faster than the average dragon. So much faster, for that matter, that he is seen as a blur. He gives off electricity as he does so, making him crackle, and is perhaps an addition given his real mothers powers.
Also has faster reaction times, since his entire body runs faster than everyone elses, including his instincts.

Weakness:
Stopping. While Levi can react fast, stopping is always an issue. He'll often misjudge and simply slam into something.
His power takes up a lot of energy. Even when he doesn't run, he needs to eat more than the average dragon, else he becomes sick and passes out eventually.

Mostly unknown. He was found by the Draven at 6 years old, shivering and bleeding from a wound on his head. Whatever happened and wherever he came from was lost, when it turned out he had amnesia. Since then he's done his best to fit in with his new family, admiring the Alpha. It does bother him that he can't remember where he came from, or what happened, but he's happy in his new home.

She takes the punishments as they come though, since Omegas are meant to be the lowest of the pack, beaten and abused. She doesn't mind really, she understands that she's useless to them

Illusion - The ability to create any form of image around him, be it another dragon, an animal, fire, ice. Not limited by the images he can create. Can cause great distractions, allowing him to use surprise in battle. Can also use these illusions to change his own image, thus perhaps making him look bigger and more intimidating.

Weakness:
Illusions are just that, illusions. You could run straight through them without batting an eye, as they are merely an image in your mind. If you are smart enough to know him, you wouldn't be distracted by these, and thus he'd lose his edge of distraction and surprise. This is also the only power he has, leaving him to fight with tooth and claw otherwise. It also takes quite a bit of concentration to make many, big moving illusions without faltering.

Born into the Draven pack, Styx easily climbed the ladder to become Beta, and is quite content in that position. He took his chance when their current Alpha won the challenge against the old, doing everything possible to make his Alpha proud and happy, and soon was promoted to be the Beta when the past Beta mysteriously died. Said death was caused by Styx himself, not that anyone has been able to work this out.

Niri possess the ability to enchant items or properties of one to have a greater effect. She will use these to enhance her remedies and to help the natural healing effect.
Not many seem to know this but she also possesses the ability to sing others to sleep or into a more submissive state. Its a type of ability which charms others, but used only in which there are critically injured people or if someone is panicking. There's a few other things she could do, which could be among striking fear or alluring enemies.

Weakness:
Being an eastern dragon, she does not have the ability to fly. for this, traveling around is often daunting for her and for others (considering she must be carried in human form).

Niri's enchantments have a certain period to which they last. The more time she puts in the effort and focus the better and more potent it will be. She has only achieved one permanent enchantment, which was used on her gift from her lover.

Her power only affects those who can hear her and have a slightly weak mental state. Further more, if she tried to allure someone, they of course must be attracted to her in some shape or form (aka, by gender or by dragon/human form). Her power also seems to wane when others are in dragon form.

Backstory:
niri grew up with exceptional knowledge of herbs and medicinal studies, prompting her to be one of the next healers in the tribe. at a young age, she had become very curious and sought to make the gathering of herbs less dangerous so she began to learn how to cultivate within Astras castle walls, storing them within the healers ward and a private little garden she grows for both research and personal means. for the most part of her younger years, niri had lived a more isolated life unless she was with her parents or practicing medical procedures.

one day, she had met a young warrior named Invictis. a drake who lead most of the hunting expeditions. she was smitten by his charming ways and humor. she had rarely left the castle walls now since most of her herbs were now growning abundantly so Invictis told her many sights of the outer walls and how many things change during the different seasons. when she became of age, she and him had bonded. since then, they stayed in love.

a few years pass, and niri remains an diligent healer of the tribe and a loving wife to Invictis. however, beyond the walls, a wave of change and danger crept into their forest. it did not help that Astra was dealing with defectors who started to split from their old home. it hurt niri to see them go and have warriors return wounded worse than what beasts from their forest do. with the increasing wounded, niris supplies had run short, causing her to leave beyond the safety of Astras walls alone. a decision she would regret for years to come.

being unaware of the recent news of humans beginning to settle further in their forests caused her to be caught in the middle of gathering herbs and chased after. if not for the fact her mate had returned from his hunt early, she would've been captured and taken away. however, in trying to escape from the humans, Invitcis suffered a fatal wound which niri could not save him from. when the rest of the hunting pack came, it was far too late. niri returned to the castle and mourned alone for three long days.

to this day, her mates death affects her deeply but she does not show the pain of loss to others as she resumed to become a better healer for the sake of the tribe.

like a broken rib cage would take multiple days to fix and would be exceedingly tiring.

Backstory:
Elbyrram was born to a wandering pair who, after he reached the age of one, left him to a powerless shifter that raised him as her own. She was Quta, a middle-aged woman who lived among and loved humans. Quta taught Elbyrram everything he knows about herbalism and healing in general, as well as other basic knowledge such as how to read and write, history, and even some mathematics. However, after 14 years together Quta died of a mysterious sickness, causing the mourning Elbyrram to leave the humans and enter Perditta in search of his own kind.

Elbyrram was invited into the Astra pack after he saved one of the group's warriors who had been ambushed and left for dead. Witnessing his medical abilities, he was chosen to be a healer and has fulfilled this role for 2 years now.

Backstory: As the son of the previous alpha, he always thought he would become someone great just like them, and frequently tried his best to prove himself and his strength. Unfortunately, during a scouting mission, he was ambushed by hunters. He managed to escape with his life, but his legs were left horribly crippled after the incident. He finds it painful/hard even to walk, and relies on a wooden cane to get around. What he was most sad about, was that the whole event happened the day before he was going to challenge the current alpha.

Now that many years have passed, he enjoys playing with the young hatchlings, and even gives them training advice if they ask for it. Even after all these years, he still remembers many battle techniques. Although sad that he was never given the chance to lead the pack, he values the thought of teaching the younger generation and watching them grow.

She can also slightly slow down projectiles or perhaps slow down an ally from crashing into something at full speed. She does not have the ability to cut with her air powers.

She has trained herself to be a fast flyer/slitherer, which she exploits in battles.

Weakness: Due to her attunement with the air, her body is naturally very light. She is easily flown about by storms or by physical combat, and is therefore vulnerable to constantly crashing into things.

Backstory: Ophaels mother birthed her at the very top of draven castle, where turbulent winds blew, which is where her parents said her powers originated from. Unfortunately, that was one of the few memories she had of communicating with her parents, as they passed away to hunters when she was young. As such, she has a grave grudge against hunters and to be honest, humans in general. Every hunter/human she kills she vows to her parents, who could not watch her become the proud warrior she is now.

When she was younger, the other hatchlings used to make fun of her lack of limbs, but she shut them up by training herself day and night to become a respected warrior. Although she is relatively strong, she has little desire to improve her rank in the pack. She is happy to follow orders and not be given much responsibility.

However, she slowly fell in love with Styx and his sly nature. He told her what he had done to the previous beta, but she loved him nonetheless. His ambition to be Beta but nothing more, made her ponder why she herself had no ambition at all.

Power: Ice manipulation. Her ability is powerful, she can freeze objects and liquids in her surrounding vicinity without too much effort. The farther away they are from her body the more energy it takes to freeze them. She can also freeze and condense the air if she needs to, but this requires far more power. Frozen things/ice can be manipulated by her telekinetically.

Weakness: The main drawback of her power, is that using it in sunlight/warm environments renders it basically useless, as the ice thaws almost as quickly as it is formed. She is most powerful indoors, in well-sheltered forests, or outside during the night. Of course, fire is her powers natural enemy as well.

Backstory: Sharline was born in a pack to the far north, where temperatures are far cooler than they are around here. Her parents were kind and loving, and pushed her to leave the pack in order to achieve her true potential and explore. She bid her younger siblings and her parents farewell, and ventured around for a while before heading south towards Perditta. Before long, she came across the two rival packs, Draven and Astra. At first she had no intention of joining either pack, but after hearing of the Dravens ambitious and worrying ideals, she decided to join the opposing pack, Astra. She desires to halt the Dravens growth, or somehow destroy their ideals altogether.

Power: Greater Energy Projection (Ability to absorb, project and manipulate different forms of concentrated energy.) Warning: ability has one huge drawback.

Weakness: Al's Omega status comes from the fact that the more of his power he uses, the faster he loses hold of his sanity. He can only maintain base dragon form for an hour (assuming he doesn't exert himself from combat) before having to return to normal due to sheer necessity. This time frame grows shorter the more mass and energy he accumulates. Which is why he steers clear from combat. He gains control over his mental faculties after a short rest though, but prolonged usage of his powers may permanently change him to a mindless rampaging entity.

Backstory: Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was born in a far off land in the East. His story was destined to be a tragic one as his mother died giving birth to him. That coupled with his uncontrollable powers made him a bad omen among his people. His youth was spent hating himself and everyone around him, something he jokingly referred to as his 'growing phase'. By his early adult years, he had packed what few things he owned to travel the world. No one bothered to bid him farewell.

Throughout his travels, Al exposed himself to several diverse cultures; he read the most curious of books; cracked jokes with some of the wisest of minds. and finally came to piece with his curse. He grew fond of reading. The smallest room in the castle in which he lives is lined with mountains of books strewn across in a seemingly haphazard way. Al assures people that he has a 'system.'

Now at the Twilight of his life, Al awaits his passing with an oddly whimsical sense of humor. It's difficult to find him without an old smile on his face, aged like fine wine. Al is happy with the way he turned out, but still believes his greatest adventure is still ahead of him.

Backstory:
Rima is a founding member of the the Draven Pack. She is cunning, ruthless, and ambitious. She was born as an Omega for her inability to change into any dragon form. People from her long extinct Pack used to joke that she was a human soul that found its way in an egg. She had a gentle life, that is before an army of hunters destroyed her home. Witnessing her friends and family being cut down sparked a flame within Rima, and that was when her inner dragon stepped out with all its terrible glory. After destroying the hunter clan after a grueling seven day campaign, she made her way West where she established the Draven Pack along with other dragons with her ambitions. Now they prime themselves to rid the world of the filth of the humans

Backstory:

Val was originally born into the Astra clan and remained proud and active member for the first sixteen years of her life. However, she was ambitious beyond her own ability, always pushing for the top. She was a troublemaker, constantly starting fights she could never win on account of her lack of understanding of her own ability. Her foolhardy actions pushed her back instead of forward, and she ended up at the lowest position warrior could be, barely above an omega. She had effectively turned herself into a laughingstock of clan Astra, and the admiration she felt for her leaders quickly turned to a bitter jealousy.

When Val first heard about the up and coming clan Draven, she practically jumped for a chance to join. She managed to secure a serviceable position as a warrior in the clan, and she began to feel her old sense of pride returning. This would be her chance to start over, and if she wanted to take what she had always desired, she was have going to be smarter this time around

Backstory:
Jukal was taken into the Astra clan as an egg. He was found alone in the mouth of a cavern not far outside of the clan's territory, no parents in sight. While it was originally assumed he would be a common dragon shifter, just another face to fill a slot as an omega, after his hatching he quickly made it clear that at least one of his true parents is a dragon shifter. He has never been told that he was adopted, and Jukal simply accepted that this was his clan, and never bothered to wonder how he got here.

-Able to move earth telekinetically. Since he has no wings he moves a large enough boulder to move around in the air. He is able to lift rocks and use them to attack by propelling them. He can also make stone golems to fight by his side.

Weakness: When moving earth with his power he must not move so he can concentrate better. He may still move the boulder underneath him though. If he was to move any earth in the air will fall to the ground. The boulder he moves around with can not be moved very fast so it was hard for him to dodge attacks.
He has a very volatile temper. He tries his best to keep it in check but many times fails to hold it back. Whether it is someone under him or the Alpha which he has been punished for. When in terms of the Alpha he tries even hard to hold his temper but has also fail yet much less.

Backstory: Doran being born A drake with his inability to fly always seemed to be a hindrance and many dragons wanted to remind him of that. He hated his dragon form since he felt weaker in it. He did what he could since he was young to become a skilled fighter while not in dragon form. When he got a bit older he learned of his earth powers and realized quickly that he could keep up a bit better in the air using his power. Backstory: Sherry was always a kind hearted girl. She never rose her voice or got hostile with anyone, even if the deserved it. She always tried her best to keep a happy face for everyone. She hates fighting and hopes no one tries to fight her but she understands as Alpha she may have too. Recently it has been very hard to stay happy. She has been worried with the possible fights between the clans and prays it never comes to pass. If it does she may be forced to fight but she never will and that may end up killing her in the end.

Backstory: Aidynet was never the one to listen to orders. Ever since he was a hatchling he never liked to listen to his superiors, which did nothing for him. Except, he was sent to the healers often, which seems a horrible fate for any dragon but he met one of the kindest dragons the Draven had ever known. After years of continuously getting hurt, sometimes purposely, they began to grow close and eventually became the best of friends.
Not to say he still isn't disobedient, but it seems his behavior has improved over those years spent. He seems to always wear a sweater around the castle, despite the heat. He still rarely smiles and usually grunts into response to everything.

Backstory: Keiddrad isn't exactly an interesting dragon, but he is known to explore at his leisure. From gathering herbs, to admiring the bits of wildlife around the area. He easily gets lost, so sometimes he's gone for weeks on end. There has been more than a few instances where warriors had to bring him back. Despite those flaws, he's always jubilant, and ready to listen.
He somehow has many human knickknacks, which he collects. From tiny human decorations to simple silverware, he loves the tiny things. Even in his dragon form, which is rather small than most--His hands are agile and flexible enough to hold most of these things. Needless to say, his room is organized and the selves lined with several of these various objects. He rarely let's large dragons in his personal area, as he's afraid they'll break the fragile items.

Torrin doesn't remember how he came to be under Elide's care. He was only a baby, fully shifting for the first time. He was told she stumbled upon him, alone and being hunted by a griffin. She apparently jumped in to defend him, fighting the creature off. She had set off in search of his parents as he followed along, stumbling after her in his dragon form. Unable to find them, she instead took Torrin under her care and set off to find a place where they both would be safe. The pair spent years wandering together, until news of the new Draven pack spread. Intrigued, the young shifter and his mom traveled to the castle.

It seems like a twist of fate to Torrin when it came to discovering Alessia. He was out patrolling when he noticed a large group of hunters. Landing nearby, he transformed into a human and hid, watching as they set about harvesting the two adults. He was about to report back to Draven when he heard the cries of a hatchling. Following the trail, it took him hours before he was able to find Alessia. She was trapped in a cage, crying to herself while the hunters sat around a campfire.

Enraged, Torrin camouflaged and waited until the hunters finally fell asleep. It was then that he charged and took the hunters by surprise. It wasn't long before the hunters were dead and he was able to free Alessia. She was afraid, especially when she saw the wound on his snout and how much he was bleeding. Unable to leave the hatchling on her own, he gathered the fire-based dragon upon his shoulders and brought her back to Draven.

It didn't take much pleading for the hatchling to be welcomed into their ranks. Although he tended to steer clear from fire users, he found himself always gravitating towards the hatchling. It wasn't long before she began to call him father. Unable to deny her, he took the role of her parental figure (alongside Elide, who knows a lot more about hatchlings than he does.)

His life has been pretty straightforward ever since- he works hard as a warrior and is proud to bear the shared responsibility of protecting his pack. He is more often assigned with hunting duty due to his abilities, especially when it comes to finding food for the hatchlings. He doesn't mind how often he finds himself in the forest, gathering food and awaiting creatures to trap and kill. It's the way of life for him and he enjoys surprising the children with their favorite foods.

Alessia was only four years old when her parents were ambushed. Her father was an Eastern dragon with pyromancy skills, while her mother didn't possess any powers. Her father was the first captured, leaving both her mother and her susceptible to the hunters. Alessia was dragged away, netted and crying. The last glimpse she had of her mother was before a blade could be swung into her throat. Alessia was kidnapped, tossed onto the back of a wagon and forced in a cage to be harvested upon arrival of an outside village of the kingdom. For hours, she attempted to melt the bars. When nothing happened, she awaited some sign of her parents or another dragon. Torrin was the one who showed; he emerged from the shadows after the hunters had fallen asleep. She had watched with wide eyes as he neared the cage, telling her to cover her eyes. She did, burying her head in her claws and waiting until the sound of the cage opening was heard.

Freezing and scared, she had crawled on his back and nestled there. Eventually, Torrin took flight and was flown to Draven. Despite the hesitance of a few residents, Alessia was welcomed in. She enjoys her time spent training and playing with her friend, Levi. Despite her age, she shows a sense of focus and is more reserved than what is expected. That doesn't mean she doesn't act like a child- she has a bad habit of getting overexcited and staying up past her bedtime, giggling and playing until she finally wears herself out.

Elide was a nomad as a child, traveling with several other drake shifters. Most of them were nulls, incapable of possessing any sort of power. It was a surprise to her parents when she manifested her ability. Due to her being seen as gifted, she was placed as the chief warrior of her pack. She was always the first to fight, whether it be from another creature or hunters. One day, while she was still a hatchling, Elide stumbled upon a warrior from the Astra pack, only fourteen at the time. Surprised, the two had started a hesitant conversation. The next week, they spoke again. Their talks eventually bloomed into a friendship, before finally turning into a full-blown romance.

Elide was twenty when she mated with the Astra warrior, a wyvern named Kova. The pair were inseparable, despite their different backgrounds. It was a short time later that Elide became pregnant- later giving birth to her daughter, Serene. Elide and Serene weren't a part of the Astra pack, so they spent much of their time wandering the land. Kova would visit, attempting to persuade Elide to return with him to the castle. Often, she would refuse. Eventually, after much persistence, she relented and took her daughter to live with the Astra pack. Years passed and Kova was ready to teach Serene how to hunt. Despite her worries, Elide relented. The second time Kova left with Serene in tow, the two did not return.

Worried, Elide found herself leaving the castle in search of her mate and hatchling. She wandered, desperate when none of her calls were returned. Eventually, she stumbled upon her daughter- or what was left of her. Hunters had seen to it that Serene would no longer be with her family. Kova was injured not too far away, looking fearful upon seeing his mate. Enraged and half-mad with grief, she attacked him.

Both dragon-shifters were vicious and Elide was left half-blind in the aftermath. Devastation reigned within their bond, driving them apart as they mourned. It was only a year later that Kova died, taking his own life. Elide left the Astra pack not long after, too overcome with memories to stay. She wandered on her own for several months, not really interested in anything but getting by.

It was a surprise when she stumbled upon Torrin, whimpering and crying in his dragon form. She had come upon the hatchling while following a griffin. It was a split decision when she scared the creature and emerged from the thicket, comforting the hatchling and offering to find his parents. However, her search proved futile- his parents were long gone, seemingly abandoning him. It was another split decision for Elide when she told Torrin to stay with her. The pair wandered before eventually following a lead that spoke of a new pack known as Draven.

Elide doesn't have much that she can contribute to the pack, although her life as a wanderer has given her many life lessons. She is often seen cooking, studying tomes and watching the hatchlings alongside Tawny.
