Maxine is a quirky and somewhat introverted person. Unless, shes with close friends and people she's comfortable with. With those select persons, she's quite rowdy and rambunctious, wild.

Despite being selectively anti-social, she has a very curious and creative mind, but not exactly able to express it the way she wants. She's terrible at drawing, acting, writing, anything. Anything except for singing.

But, she refuses to sing in front of large crowds or acquaintances/strangers, shes rather self conscious about her abilities.

Maxine is actually quite stubborn, indecisive, and over-emotional, and may either silently skulk and refuse to talk to anyone for an uncertain amount of time or explode on someone.

Maxine is also quite the nerd/dork/geek. But, she's actually not lazy, quite adventurous at that. Lord of The Rings is the series that actually made her yearn for adventure and action.

She's also not afraid to speak her mind, questioning anything and everything.

Maxine was born to Max Smith, the boy who went to the Land of The Wild Things. Of course, he never told anyone, not even his wife until they had their youngest daughter Maxine.

He would tell Maxine about all the stories of the Wild Things, the adventures, the land. It all excited her and she too wanted to follow in her fathers footsteps and become "Queen of The Wild Things".

That dream began to fade as she got into late junior high, being picked on for saying such ridiculous things, even her teachers getting on to her about it. They even contacted her parents about it.

Youngest of four, she had to deal with being the bottom feeder for a long time, being treated the same in school due to her size.

Mildly bullied, she didn't care much about it until she got into a fight with one of her bullies during Freshmen year.

Bloodied nose and bruised cheek, she found and met her best friend, Ethan Tracer. ( Will add his character later ) With him there, it made everything easier for her, she didn't pay any attention to those useless bullies.

Those past three years were good, besides ya know, the idiots surrounding her, grades, being outcasts, etc. She didn't mind being an outcast though.

But, she began to fear the future, of college, responsiblites everything.

She completely lost it when she walked in on her mom and another man.

Packing up, she came across the map to Land of the Wild Things, so conviently placed. Like someone put it there.

Leaving a note, she lied and said she was going on the cruise with Ethan, just wanting a breather for awhile to clear her head before she had to welcome the real world.

Stowing away with her saved up money, she sailed for LOTWT
