History: Santiago volunteered to receive the serum when Shina was first founded. He actually sought them out after hearing whispers on the streets. Snark and his sister were sent to an adoptive family after his father had murdered his mother while intoxicated, followed by his own suicide. His sister had suffered from a severe mental illness that impaired her emotional functions and motor functions, They lived with their adoptive family that consisted of two druggies that pushed the orphans to do unfathomable chores, like transporting fentanyl so that if caught, the orphans would take the blame. When Santiago was 19, his sister (17 at the time) was found in possession of the powerful drug and was imprisoned. Snark's adoptive parents wouldn't allow him to leave to go see his sister, nor would they bail her out. One day, after many long hours without any updates on his sister's condition, Santiago grabbed a knife from the apartment kitchen and slit the throats of his adoptive parents while they were hungover. He mutilated their bodies with the knife even after they had long since gone. He had enjoyed it immensely. 


Soon after, he had created an elaborate plan to break his sister out, although it ended up taking an excessive amount of lives, including his sister's. Thereafter, Santiago roamed the streets in shame and grief, believing that the reason for his sister's death was that he just wasn't good enough. The young street-dweller picked fights whenever possible, believing that it would allow him to perfect murder. When he heard whispers of a powerful serum that could create super soldiers, he tracked down the source. Never before had he felt such power. 


He found himself climbing the ranks at incredible speed, possibly due to his lost humanity.
