Odele's magic comes from her staff or items that assist with her spells. On rare occasions, Odele may be able to cast a healing spell with her hands out of pure emotion but there's no true circumstance on this theory.
Armor
- White Robes
- Wooden Staff (+6)
- None
Hailing from the capital of Berlin, Odele had led a remarkable life all while trying to appease her parents' expectations. They had very strict standards and preached that if she was to be of any worth, she had to work for it. These standards destroyed her relationship with her parents but she still adhered to them only seeking to achieve the best. While her childhood remained fair, it was always "work and no play" leaving Odele to miss out on what it was like being a child.
Going into adulthood, Odele decided to go into the biological field and eventually became a researcher. Though, there was more to the desire of determining what "life" was and knowing how other plants or animals lived. Her career became her whole life, except she did learn to enjoy the little things. One of her favorite things would be relaxing and playing her Nintendo Switch. Every, single, day was nearly the same in her life, and the only thing breaking her from the cycle was a game into a world of fantasy.
Personality
Rather a calm individual, Odele tends not to worry about things she cannot control. While she does lack empathy, she does seem to care for those around her. Just has an odd way of showing it. When moments count, she's a very strong-headed woman who seeks achievement.
Hobbies:
- Reading
- Playing Video Games
- Cooking
- Strive for success and always look forward, or be tempted by the past.
- Though others may not understand me, I will always try to understand them.
Odel does not understand the reasoning behind the emotions of others, however, that doesn't stop her from trying to understand.
"Love of Oro"
In the world of Oraria, every living thing harbors the spirit of an Oro within. Tiny, plump and child-like little creatures with small beady eyes. Each Oro slightly different from the next, representing the living thing the Oro resides in. The fate of the world resides in the balance of all living things, no matter how pure or evil one may be. However, as all things, nothing lasts forever and the world has shifted causing an increase of mysterious events. Oro have been disappearing which has led to the extinction of a few species, lands have been crumbling into what seems to be pure darkness, and horrific natural occurrences have been on the rise like wild fires or floods. Chosen beings known as "Listeners of Oro" have been tasked to determine the reasoning behind the events by the Winds of Fate, a supposed higher being that calls to people through the whispers of the wind. Though, no one seems to have any proof of it's true existence...
Sounds of birae chirping in the trees echo within the forest, as if they were in sync. The harmonic tune that would put many to a peaceful sleep, the sound seemingly circled around at a beat of 1,2,3,2,1 - repeat. Juniper leaves would sway to the breeze bringing a vitalizing air, the leaves whispering among themselves. Trees stood many, making up a majority of the forest, bushes decorated in between hiding the secrets within. Some of the bushes were plain to the naked eye, others were accompanied by wild flowers of various blues and violets, with some baby whites. Sun shined through the cracks of the trees keeping some mischievous things at bay in it's rays. Within the forest, there was a dirt path but has not seen the company in some time as grass has begun to grow in various of spots. Straying from the path of the forest lies many hidden secrets, most good, some quiet evil. But, that doesn't stop life from thriving as such is the case for one fairy named Amaria.
Near a tranquil pond, where many flora flourished of various kinds, a faint light blue glow emitted from a tiny being. There Amaria floating steadily near the edge of the pond's water, looking down below. Few creatures swam in circles of the bond, others in no particular direction. Gorgi would occasionally jump up from the waters to capture some unaware insects, filling their stomachs before swimming once more. Juros would dimly glow in the water, with no direct purpose in life. With a slight sigh, Amaria would glance up into the trees. "I just don't understand. Everything seems fine no matter where I look. But, I can't shake this feeling something is wrong. Some of the fae of gone missing...There has to be a sign, somewhere."
Amaria eased the beat of her translucent wings, lowering her body into the comforts of a large flower, a soft pink with long petals that curled inward at the tips. Deep in thought, she could not help but to rest her eyes just for a moment. Gorgi croaked, the juros could be heard splashing about in the water. Life was at the fingertips and seemingly perfect. But, that was far from the case as the screams of Oro could be heard all around the world to those who "listened".
