    Occupation : Weaver
    Class : Commoner
    Age : 21
    Gender : Female
    Pronouns : She/Her
    Sexuality : Bisexual
    Soulmate : TBD

    Height : 5'5"/166cm
    Weight : 121lbs./55kg
    Body Type : Mesomorph
    Body Shape : Hourglass
    Body Mods : N/A
Markings : a few scars from old cuts/injuries/etc scattered throughout over her body
    Distinguishers : N/A
Style : There are a lack of options, and therefore a lack of variety when it comes to clothing for Yansa. She wears typical tunics, dresses, and scrubs for women of the common class. She prefers to keep her hair long, so it's usually in braids or pulled back with cloth (especially when she's working), but will sparingly wear her abundant curls out. Doesn't have anything to decorate her face as a commoner, either, so all-in-all, her look is pretty plain. She also always has a small knife on her person for emergency purposes.

"If you can't beat them, join them."
"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

...then, what happens to those who joined, and are still persecuted?

What happens when they select who deserves protection, and who doesn't? What happens when power and greed seep through every crack, leaving you as dust scattered by dangerous winds, away from the ground, away from anything that could keep you collected?

Is there no direction for when the Romans conquer and kill their own? Is there no direction for when doing as the Romans do means betrayal, grief, and struggle for those around you?

'Join' is not an option. I cannot do as they do--no, I will not. The only direction left is to defeat...

    So, Rome must fall.

Despite being a born and raised Butelahn citizen, Yansa had a different upbringing than most. Her parents were immigrants from a small, neighboring country, deciding to pursue their small fabrics, weaving, and tailoring shop in the heart of Butelahn for the save of business.

As commoners, education would have been little to none beyond being taught by family, and even then, knowledge is regulated to its citizens to uphold their power. However, as they were not brought up under this culture, their knowledge excelled beyond Butelahn's citizens and they especially had a more objective outlook on life.

Yansa's parents were quick to form distaste for the government and its functions as the saw the corruption first hand, compared to their home country. Although they had to be careful about what they said and who they defied, they eventually became involved in an underground rebel group dedicated towards bettering the lives of commoners and stopped the corruption of the crown. Yansa was raised under this climate, being raised as a skeptic, taught by her parents and what they knew, and in the small community of the anti-Knight rebellion.

    Then, they caught an illness.

It's really not that uncommon of a story. Whatever sickness caught by commoners was usually severe, with a lack of resources and money for a doctor or even medicine. It spread between the three of of them at a considerable speed, considering they spent all day together running their shop--from the very start, though, it was harder on her parents.

She tried to take care of them as much as she could on her own, with a bit of help from others. She watched as a young 11 year old as their health deteriorated with each day in the capital, when doctors would turn her away because of her clothes, a mere few feet away from wealthy nobles who were being offered free samples and complimentary goods. She watched as they got treated for things as small as a paper cut while her parents were bedridden for weeks.

She always knew how status and class rules Butelahn, and the struggles they faced because of that corruption--she really did, as she was taught, but it was at that time when it truly clicked for her. She understood everything.

    Yansa recovered. Her parents didn't.

Their bodies could not beat out the virus. They were buried, like many commoners, without clothes, without some form of a casket it, and in whatever ground they could find. They left nothing but a loom and some fabrics.

She had those in the rebellion by her side as emotional support, many with similar stories, but it didn't change a thing. She was an orphan early on in her childhood, and even if she was taken in by a generous couple who were friends with her parents, she still felt alone. Yansa was left with a lot of resentment from a situations she felt could have changed if they had juts gotten the help.

She became an avid member of the rebellion. Aside from spreading rumors and attempting to rise doubt and tensions among the ignorant, boot-licking lower class, they were mostly inactive as they awaited for an opening. A weakness.

They needed to take their time, after all, if they wanted things to be any different than in the past, when the rebellions were crushed miserably.

Still, Yansa was a bright child. She learned all that she could, and they recognized this, as well, and did their best to provide her with the guidance and resources, even going as far as letting her tag along when they infiltrated the archives (with a noble spy, of course) so she could learn about history.

It took some time, but eventually, Yansa managed to accept that there might not have been much they could have done to change her parents' outcome. She couldn't do anything to the past, but could devote herself to the future and ensure that stories like hers would stop happening.

Some time after she became of age, tensions began to rise even more within the population of Butelahn. Rumors of murders being connected and unregulated by their government have sparked controversy, and with a tip from a noble with a secret of rebellion, they have learned quite interesting information about a certain prince.

The pieces were placed, and now they must play. This was the moment they all have been waiting for.

With Yansa contributing what she could, a plan has been devised to slowly change it all to their favor. She has applied to the Noble Tutoring Academy of Advanced Education, and with her own exceptional intelligence and the help from their noble spy, hope to get accepted and commence their plan. Finally, she may be able to get some closer.

She has applied to the Noble Tutoring Academy of Advanced Education, and with her own exceptional intelligence and the help from their noble spy, hope to get accepted and commence their plan. Finally, she may be able to get some closer.
    Virtues
    Compassionate
    • Yansa is always empathetic, kind, and thoughtful towards others. She has strong morals and passion for others' wellbeing, especially as she was brought up around the rebellion, meaning for the majority of her life there was a focus on all of those in the country and bettering the group rather than the individual.
    Selfless
    • This strong compassion results in her not hesitating to put others before herself, especially when it comes to the cause.
    Intelligence
    • Yansa has always been a bright one. She was a fast learner, observant, and insightful, and with the guidance of her parents and others around her, these traits only flourished. She may not be entirely educated due to lack of resources, but is enough to notice things that others don't, is a healthy skeptic, and knows quite a bit about Butelahn history that most do not. She's also very witty and resourceful, quick to figure out a solution for an problem no matter how limited the situation.
    Socially Adept :
    • It's hard to say she's charismatic, because in Butelahn, charisma is connected to social status--a scale that Yansa does not rank high on. However, she is observant and quick to pick up social cues and the like. Still, this does not extend to noble society, and she honestly knows little to nothing about fancy manners from bowing around royalty.
    Persevering
    • This can be shown by her difficult past, but Yansa is someone who is able to face adversity and push forward despite the setbacks. Especially when she's feeling passionate about something, she's very driven and will not quit until she physically cannot continue.
    Independent
    • Despite what one might assume, Yansa's independence does not come from losing her parents at a young age. Being in the lower class and struggling to make ends meet meant that she had to pull her weight early on, and had to know how to handle herself for the sake of parents. Their passing only furthered the necessity of self-sufficiency, as she wanted to be able to support the couple who took her in so she wouldn't be a burden.
    Diligent
    • Along with her perseverance comes a strong work ethic. She doesn't just devote this to the rebellion, but as a weaver making fabrics and clothes. The quality of her works is definitely impressive.
    Objective :
    • Despite her strong connection with emotion, Yansa has an impressive (and sometimes off-putting) ability them from work. She can swallow any sort of pride, wants, and feelings for the sake of her commitment to the rebellion. She doesn't take her job as a weaver as passionately, so she finds it unnecessary for that objectivity, but especially for their plans, she knows she'll have to throw away any personal issues to get things done, and will do so flawlessly.
    Mature
    • Now, this is a trait that resulted from her parents' passing. Her independence certain works with her maturity, but before her parents passed she could afford to be more childish and enjoy her youth as much as she could. Since then, though, she had to learn a lot of lessons the hard way.
    Friendly
    • Yansa runs by the "good until proven otherwise" mentality. She's always amiable and kind to complete strangers, especially with her compassionate nature, and knows how to let loose and have fun when she wants to.
    Vices
    Sensitive
    • Her past might give off the impression that she's mentally strong, but really, Yansa is someone who feels things much too strongly for her own liking, and is easily hurt and saddened, especially when it comes to people she grows to care for. The passing of her parents left her with some unpackaged feelings, and she would probably break if she had to lose anyone again, even if it was just separation instead of death.
    Excessive
    • Another product of her sensitivity is her being a very all-or-nothing kind of girl. If she grows the slightest bit attached to something or someone, she goes all the way, often beyond what she can help. She's always been a passionate girl, and because of this, only knows how to give all of herself or absolutely none. The good side is that she never half-asses anything, but the bad is the strain that it puts on herself.
    Reticent
    • Yansa is completely away of the above vices, and because of this, is extremely guarded. She knows how she gets when she becomes attached, and how she tends to put a bit too much of herself into those relationships. Out of fear that it won't be fruitful and would result in some form of emotional struggle, she tends to keep herself from opening up with others and forming relationships beyond surface level friendships.
    Lonely
    • Despite her opposition to vulnerability, Yansa is lonely and someone who genuinely wants those connections. She's just worried about forming them. Even to those she does end up opening to, though, she tends to keep this trait to herself, even if it hurts.
    Stubborn
    • Yansa has a hard time accepting when she's wrong about something, and doesn't really back down from a conflict if she's gotten invested in it.
    Unforgiving
    • As a result of being stubborn and closed off, when she actually manages to put her trust in someone, betrayal of that trust is one of the worst things they can do. She rarely forgives people for their wrongdoings towards others, including herself.
    Prideful
    • Even if she knows how to set it aside for maturity, Yansa is honestly a prideful young woman. This feeds into her reticent nature and uncomfortableness with vulnerability, as well as her stubbornness and lack of forgiveness.
    Intolerant
    • Overall, Yansa is open minded and isn't quick to judge, but that tends to flee when it comes to things of importance--specifically, work. She expects people to be mature and professional when they're of a reasonable age, and is quickly bothered by those who don't do so.
    Argumentative
    • Yansa is not someone who shies away from conflict, especially if it's something work-related. She believes strongly in getting things worked out in the moment and addressing problems as they arise, which usually means getting into arguments of all sorts. Sometimes she'll leave it be if diffusing the situation seems to be the best option, but she can't help it sometimes, especially if someone makes her annoyed enough.
    Perfectionist
    • Along with her diligent nature comes with a tendency to want everything to be absolutely flawless. Obviously, though, complete perfection is usually impossible--see her predicament?
    Preferences
    Likes :
    • having fun, homemade food, helping others, kids, animals, long hair, dancing, weaving, making clothes, baked goods
    Dislikes
    • the butelahn crown, distrust, lazy work, arrogance, superficiality, entitlement, snobs, getting sick, arguments, failure
    Conamen?
    • Yansa, like the rest of the rebellion, don't realize that the view on conamen is crafted by the monarchy and therefore doesn't question the public view that they are dangerous and that she should stay away. She doesn't associate romance with conamen like most of Butelahn, so does not want to be involved with her conamin and honestly is scared of meeting them, because what if they ruin the rebellion?
    Fears
    • rejection, failure, losing loved ones, conamen

Davion Dawne.
basics.
Name : Davion Dawne
Nickname : The Young Dawn
title : Minor Noble of Davny
Age : 19
Gender : Male
Sexuality : Heterosexual
Country: : The Petty Kingdom of Davny.
visage.
Height : 5'2
Hair : Short black hair that tends to grow unevenly towards the back
Eyes : Amber brown
Disc. Features : While not a physical feature, the most noticeable thing about his appearance is his scarf.
Style : Plain and sensible but looks wealthy enough to identify him as a member of nobility to those not from Davny
Accessories : Davion always has two specific things on him, first is his ragged and old look scarf that he wears and lastly is a notebook of some kind that he writes anything interesting he encounters in.
persona.
Davion is a rather intelligent man as expected from a noble from Davny. While he believes himself to have no issues socializing with people and making allies or comrades, the opposite is true and most actually just consider him rather obnoxious. The reason for this being that he often considers himself one of the smartest people in the room if not the smartest, and has a habit to start writing down different things he sees or hears that are interesting. While he doesn't mean to be offensive or rude with those traits they often happen to rub people the wrong way. Davion is also an incurably curious person leading him to stick his nose into things where it does not belong and often suffering repercussions for that. Even topics that are often seen as negative and sometimes even taboo hold a world of curious endeavors for the young noble to at least ponder over.
- positive traits :
Curious
: Davion is extremely curious. He wonders what makes the stars shine at night, what makes the wind blow, how does an object fall at a certain speed, and more. There is never anything that the young man won't at least think over, how ever long that last is up in the air. He could spend a single second thinking over one question and a year to think over another.
Intelligent : Like many young men and women born in Davny, Davion is rather intelligent. Taking top marks and scores in his education from the age of ten to fifteen he outshined and performed many of his colleagues. Davion loves to think, he loves to solve problems, and he is good at both.
Kind : Davion despite his faults and bad social skills strives to be kind to those around them. Whether it would be helping someone if he can, offering advice (Even if it was unwanted), or generally trying to be a good person
- negative traits :
Petty
: Davion is rather petty and does not take insults or slights against him very well. He doesn't perceive himself honorable so getting back at people who wronged him is only sensible to him. The problem comes into play is when he gets rather worked up and can take it a little too far.
Socially inept : While Davion has learned quite a bit in his lifetime, how to properly socialize with people was not one of them. What he thinks is normal conversation can often be considered rude or inconsiderate. He also struggles to different between social classes when speaking to people, often talking to commoners, nobles, and royalty all the same way.
Coward : Too put it bluntly Davion is a coward. He suffers from not only stage freight but often just general anxiety. This is only made worse by his insatiable curiosity.
- likes : Reading, Studying, Debating/arguing, writing, and enjoys a variety of different fruits
- dislikes : Physical combat, cleaning, large crowds, most vegetables
archive.
Background : Davion was born the third child to the Petty King of Danvy named Almic Dawne, also called "The Dawn Star". While it was pretty common for kings and queens to be dethroned in debates The Dawn Star was different. By the time Davion was born his father had already defeated 142 challengers in debates of a large viarity of topics. It was believed that The Dawn Star was invincible in the royal debates and Davion grew up with the best education that Davny could afford feeling safe in the knowledge his father was invincible. That all changed the day his father was defeated.

A long standing rival of The Dawn Star who had lost a total of 59 debates against the ruling king returned with a vengeance. The debates were completely one sided and the The Dawn Star finally fell from heaven to rest with the nobles on earth. As according to tradition the loss would be accepted and the Dawne family would rejoin the ranks of nobilty... at least that's how it should have happened. The debates were rigged from the start with questions skewered to favor the challenger and the judges who were sick and tired of their kings winning streak were paid off to vote in favor of the challenger. After the victory over Almic the new king persecuted the Dawne family forcing them into minor nobility and robbing them of almost all the rights and privilege's they were rewarded.

While his father and two older siblings accepted what had happened and turned to focus on the future, Davion did not. Instead he kept learning and learning with the sole goal of getting revenge for his families name. He would become the most intelligent individual he could and return, challenging this cheating monarch to a debate time and time again until he won fair and square. So his education became devoted to this and as the years passed Davion found a new subject to ponder over, one that many shied away from or out right hated. That was the Conamen. He began to wonder if there was more too it, what really caused it, what effects did it truly have, was it really an awful curse like everyone said, and could someone change it to stack the deck in their favor. Davion began to think about fate itself.

Now at the age of nineteen Davion decided that his quest for knowledge would be ironically much more difficult in Davny. With so much competition and eyes watching his family it would be difficult to gain the amount of knowledge he needed to gain his petty vengeance against the king. So he set out for Butelahn as a guest noble form Davny to enroll in the prestigious academy there. While not as advanced as the academies of Davny it would have to do for now. Plus maybe here away from those that knew him he could begin to ponder and investigate his side practice of the Conamen with less worries of people finding out.

Amunet Khalil.

basics.
Name : Amunet Aziza Khalil
Nickname : Ami
Title : Crowned Princess (next in line to be Pharaoh of Esnas)
Age : 20
Gender : Female
Sexuality : Bisexual
Country : Esnas
visage.
Height : 5'5"
Hair : Long tight ringlets that are chocolate brown in color thought the sun has given them a slightly lighter brown appearance.
Eyes : Whiskey brown and almond shaped, when the light hits her eyes just right they look beautifully golden.
Disc. Features : She does have scars across her shoulders and back that she has covered with tattoos. The scars are from whippings and other punishments back when she was a slave. She also has two scars along her face which she does not hide.
Style : Her main colors tend to be golds, whites, and yellows with purple occasionally thrown in. Her dresses tend to be more revealing than others since it is the style of her kingdom, the dresses are very light and flowy with sheer fabrics and lots of gold jewelry. Style. Style. Style. Style.
Accessories : She wears a good amount of golden jewelry and head pieces. She also has a serpent arm band that she almost always wears that was one of her few possessions from back when she was a slave.
persona.

Ami is a very interesting royal due to the fact that she was not always a royal and lived the majority of her life as a slave. Because of this she values freedom and the ability to speak her mind which was a luxury she did not always has. She is also strongly opposed to making anyone do anything they do not want to do and for this reason she does not like to order people around but will often do things for herself rather than have a servant or member of staff do it. She is very active and has a strong desire to travel and see the world as well as learn about other lands and cultures. Her heart is big and she is full of kindness and ambition which is one of the things her adoptive father loves most about her. She has seen the absolute worst the world has to offer and still is able to see the light and find kindness and love within herself. Her goal is to bring an abolishment to slaver through peace talks with other kingdoms. She is well aware that there are many who believe her to be unfit to be heir since she is not of royal blood and was raised in the slave pits and their criticism and doubts only drive her to prove them wrong rather than give into their cruel words. She will do everything she can to make sure her father knows he did not make a mistake in picking her to be his successor when the time comes. She is also capable of being quite cunning and seductive when she needs to be. Being raised as a slave meant she had to learn ways to make others treat her better since her life had no real value, she had to make herself have value to them, this is a skill she still holds. She does not take kindly to people taking advantage of her or those she cares about and no matter how sweet, kind, and forgiving she is she will not tolerate betrayal. Her free spirit does make her a bit of a wild card for those charged with protecting her as well as those she has romantic interest in. She can be very forward, very flirty, and isn't afraid to love as freely as she wishes, a trait that many in her kingdom share. She can be stubborn and wild, her passion being both admirable and dangerous.
- positive traits :
Passionate
: She fights for what she believes in with all that she has.
Kind : No matter your rank or status she will treat you with absolute respect and is always willing to help others out or lift their spirits with a smile.
Hero of the People : She thinks about her people and how she can best serve them, it is her goal to make sure they live happy and long lives and as their princess and one day their Pharaoh she intends to make that dream a reality.
- negative traits :
Shameless
: She is very forward and has no concern for how her actions make her look, especially the seductive ones, people love freely in her kingdom and that will not change for her even if she is somewhere else.
Unforgiving : If you have wronged her or betrayed her it is likely you will never regain her trust. She will never look at you the same and will certainly treat you differently.
Stubborn : The more you tell her she cannot do something the more you fuel her. She stands her ground and it can take a long time for her to see she was in the wrong if she was in fact in the wrong.
- likes : Her constant companion Paki the snake, sweet fruits, spicy foods, flowers, gentle touches, running around barefoot, dancing in the rain, dancing in general, reading, learning about new inventions, swimming.
- dislikes : Being told what to do, the sound of whips, slavery, being touched when she does not want to be, her PTSD, men who think they can tell her what to do, being locked up, being restrained, getting lost, things not being lively enough.
archive.
title : TRIGGER WARNING FOR DIFFICULT SUBJECT MATTER!
When Ami was born she was born a slave and was taken from her mother mere moments after birth. She never knew her mother or her father since they were both sold before she was old enough to be able to hold onto memories. What she does remember though was the pain and humiliation of a life of a slave. She was always hungry, always hurting, always suffering in some way. Those who owned her were cruel and used her in whatever way they desired. When she was young it was almost always just for work but as she grew into a young woman it became far more mature forms of torture that she hated and still has nightmares about. She was treated as though she meant nothing and was often beaten for resisting or rebelling. Life was very unkind and there were days she did not think she would be able to go any further but still managed to push onwards. She began to learn that sometimes she could get her way if she acted a certain way, that she could manipulate the men around her and it worked. But still life was terrible since it was clear to her that no matter how much she manipulated those in charge she would never be able to convince them to give her her freedom. One day she attempted, as she had often, to run away. She was caught and as she was being dragged through the streets towards the whipping post outside the brothel a visiting Pharaoh witnessed the scene. The Pharaoh was horrified at what he saw and in that instant he knew he had to do something. Leaving his convoy with a group of guards he demanded that Ami be sold to him and paid more than enough for her. The slavers were thrilled to make such a fortune off of her and gave her over to the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh took Ami in and granted her her freedom. Not only that but as he got to know her he decided that she was all he had ever wanted in an heir and in an effort to protect her and secure her future as well as the future of his people he adopted her as his own and named her his heir to his empire. Now several years have passed and Ami has gone from a slave to a princess though she does not always act the part. She enjoys her freedom but has not forgotten about all those who still suffer each day at the hands of the slave masters. It is her goal to find a way to free them and abolish slavery all together.

Astri Drakenguard.
basics.
Name : Astri Drakenguard
Nickname : Dragon Spawn
title : Noble Sword of Clan Drakenguard (Noble of Corvus)
Age : 28
Gender : Female
Sexuality : Bisexual
Country : Corvus.
visage.
Height : 6'2
Hair : Blonde
Eyes : Violet
Disc. Features : Violet eyes and burn scar running from her right eye to her right ear covering her entire right cheek
Style : Practical, warm, and usually with some armor.
Accessories : Her sword Dwywen that she forged on her 18th birthday .
persona.
- Astri like a majority of the people born to Corvus is a glory hound, always chasing the next big thing to claim victory over and earn her honors. Being raised in a community of strength and valor she is a brave and hardworking person who doesn't know the meaning of giving up... uforntuantly that can lead to situations that can often have dire consequences for herself or those around her. Too those around her she isn't exactly the brightest lantern around and often gives up on thinking about complex matters in favor of going for the physical or direct approach. While in reality it's not that she is dumb however she struggles to apply herself and growing up with a focus on battle she has yet to see the reason to apply herself. Astri also struggles when it comes to emotions, either not recognizing emotions that others have or getting flustered and opting to bash away the emotions she does not understand.
positive traits :
Hard Working
: Astri is an incredibly hardworking person. She isn't satisfied until she has had a hard days work, whether that would be training, manual labor, or some other form of work. There is always something that can be done now rather than later and she would much rather get it done first before tucking in for the day.
Loyal : One of the things that Astri values most in anyone is loyalty. Holding to this view she strives to be loyal in her life. Loyal to her clan, her family, and those that she has deemed to be friends or maybe even more.
Brave : Bravery is another important trait of Astri's personality. She isn't exactly fearless and she still has things that scare her, but she posses the bravery to move past and face those things that scare her.
- negative traits :
False perception
: While not actually dim it is important to note that those around her call her dim. In reality she struggles to grasp the ideas and beliefs that make some one smart or intelligent. Growing up in a land that places little value in education has only worsened this making many believe she is a simpleton and in many ways she has allowed those ideas that the people around her have had of her and convinced herself she is dim.
Lack of mental selfcare : While Astri is many things, good at taking care of her mental health is not one of those. She is often closed off with her own darker and personal thoughts and disconnected from her more confusing emotions, so she shoves them away letting them simmer and poke at her as it builds up into a breaking point every now and then.
Wrathful : Astri can be described as having a bit of anger issues as well as a quick temper. If something is ticking her off her first instinct is too smash it so it not longer upsets her.
- likes : Training, working, fighting, drinking, and small animals
- dislikes : Fire, talking about her emotions, reading, and cowards.
archive.
Backstory : On one particularly cold night a massive blizzard had set in, too the superstitious people of the Drakenguard clan, it heralded something dark and disastrous. While the storm raged on and many took cover, one particular family of the Drakenguard, the chiefs wife was giving birth. During the extremely painful process misfortune struck and a candle stick was nocked over catching the house on fire. The midwives and guards did their best to put out the fire but it was to no avail the house was burned down to ashes with all in side turned to a crisp. Only the blizzard outside kept the fire from spreading around the town. When the fire died out the blizzard began to wane and the people of the village rushed to check the burned house. As the searched the wreckage they found one survivor, a small baby crying for her mother. From that moment onwards they would refer to the child as Astri "Dragon Spawn" and rumors quickly began to spread that it was a dragon that had set the fire signally the coming of one of their children. Of course these were only rumors but the scar and her miraculous survival only made the rumors spread more fiercely.

Astri from a young age trained to be a warrior. She had a natural talent for fighting and grew to be larger and stronger then many of the other children. What ever weapon she was given she could excel in, however when her father and later new mother tried to get her to learn how to read and write she struggled greatly with it. For what ever reason she was always struggled more than her pears to grasp basic educational concepts. Instead of encouraging her onwards like many other nations would, her parents gave up on her education and kept her going down the path of the warrior. By the time she was eighteen she would be able to make her own weapon. Finding the best martials she could acquire she hand crafted her sword that she named Dwywen. With this sword and bond now forged she set out on her first raid, claiming her first lives and glory as the tale of the Dragon Spawn began to spread,

Fast forward ten years later and Dragon Spawn is a title well known in Corvus and is spoken either in reverence or in fear. Thanks to it's capable warriors the Drakenguard clan has risen to prominence and even earned itself a seat on the ruling council, toting Astri as their most famous warriors with tales of glory well earned and others made up from thin air. Now as the festival in Butelahn about to happen the leaders of the Drakenguard insisted that their prized warrior take a well deserved brake. An escort of other proud warriors practically forced her on a cart and headed to the royal capital as guest and dignitaries to the proceedings. What madness she would find there? Only time will tell.

sorry for boring coding, i’m strictly on mobile rn due to laptop being broken

Name Eira Rosemere

Nickname(s) Little Thorn (by family members)

Title (if applicable) NA - noble

Kingdom Butelahn

Age 19

Gender Female

Distinct Features Mole under left eye
Burn scars on left hand (will claim it’s from a cooking incident, but it is a product of her training gone wrong)

Personality (include both positives and negatives) Though quiet, Eira is confident, determined, and remarkably resilient. Her steadfast fixation on the Rebellion can be off-putting at times, her parents high expectations for her role in the rebellion quite taxing on her. Still, she feels she has a duty as their daughter, and to th commoners to see her parent’s and the other rebels desires to fruition. Due to her upbringing, she has a strong sense of justice and thus can be compassionate to those in need, but ruthless to her enemies.

This leads her to be stubborn, and unmoving at times. Eira loves the sea, as it makes her feel free, as well as the sailors and their songs and stories. She enjoys heat, the wine her family makes, and being studious. Unlike her brother, she believes the mind is a deadlier weapon than the sword, and has a knack for talking her way through anything. Her family’s strange disposition has led her to feel like an outcast to both the nobility and the commoners her family and she is trying to help.

History the Rosemere’s have a long history in Butelahn, producing the countries wine and innovating it throughout the decades. They pride themselves on their vineyards, quality of wine, and production, so when an unfortunate year of no production of vines and grapes hit due to a drought, they sought the aide of another nobility. Unfortunately, this began a reign of financial hostage. The higher nobility began to take from their profit, but kept all the work for them. Seeing the corruption in the social classes, the Rosemeres became pivotal in the Rebellion. They continued to keep their noble facade, and hide their financial burdens from the outside world. With the money they kept, Eira and Emrys’ parents began to train their children behind the scenes. When the common folk come to help smash the grapes, it is used as a cover up for rebellion meetings.

Name Emrys Rosemere

Nickname(s) NA

Title (if applicable) NA - noble

Kingdom Butelahn

Age 21

Gender Male

Distinct Features One eye missing (again, a product of their parent’s training)

Personality (include both positives and negatives) Based off looks and personality, no one would guess Eira and Emrys were related. Taking after his mother - in both looks and personality - he is intelligent, well educated, and a ferocious leader. He is sharp of wit and tongue. He acts first, and thinks of consequences later. This, however, makes him passionate, and inspires those around him. Emrys can easily charm those around him, and is used to getting what he wants.

He is quick to anger, but his family and those he loves comes before anything else. Eira would describe him as “pretty stupid for someone who is actually intelligent.” Emrys doesn’t quite understand his parents and sister’s vigor for an uprising, but supports their vision - just on a lesser scale than his younger sibling.

Solomon Seville.
basics.
Name: Solomon Seville
Nicknames: Sol to close family and friends, "nines" or a variant to some of the people in the bounty hunting community due to his fingers
Title: None
Kingdom: Butelahn
Occupation: Publicly, a bounty hunter
Class: Commoner
Age: 26
Gender: Male
visage.
His actual appearance differs slightly from his face claim.

Two shorter pieces of rather long, wavy, dark brown hair frame Solomon's freckled face, the rest of it typically up in a bun. His pale green eyes contrast against his olive skin tone, his nose is roman, eyebrows angular, and facial features sharp. When moved his left arm has a noticeable bad tremble, and the ring finger is missing from his hand. Little faded scars are collected around both his hands and forearms from a lifetime of weapons sparring, and deeper scars are scattered across his body, including the absent tip of his left ear. He stands tall at a height of 5’11” with broad shoulders and lean musculature. Despite his otherwise rough exterior, Solomon’s expression is usually a soft and inviting one.

As for clothing he dresses nicely for a commoner, preferring well made garments leaning towards the minimalist, less decorated side. Color-wise he suits earthy and autumn tones. He keeps himself clean-shaven. For formal occasions he does his hair in complicated braids, but prefers to not stand out otherwise.

persona.
When you first get to meet him, Solomon is a kind, friendly, and polite man. He’s more than willing to help you out with anything you might need, and makes friends with both the nobles and those with the lowest status without discrimination. He loves his land and all of his fellow countrymen, bounty hunting criminals to make the place safer. If you manage to get close to him, Solomon is an affectionate and loyal friend- if you have a bad day, he might show up with your favorite meal, and he loves opportunities to give advice and teach others about subjects he’s knowledgeable in. That being said, his gentleness does not make him a pushover, and he can be rather stubborn sometimes.

When it comes to his job and ideals he is confident and hard working sometimes to his own detriment, occasionally over-committing but still refusing to give up until everything is done properly, dutifulness being a part of his personal moral code. Behind his kind efforts are strong emotions that he intentionally holds back, and a tendency towards black and white thinking with little room for middle ground. He has a bit of a judgemental streak towards those that don’t share his ideals, and when pushed can be quick to anger. When he puts his trust in you, he does it with the expectation that the courtesies he gives will be returned and betrayals are a grave matter to him.

When it comes to his most beloved hobbies and jobs, he can become a little arrogant. He’ll have a friendly sword fight or training session with anyone who asks, but won’t go easy on you, delighting in his own skill.

Due to his real job, he has learned to read other people, and manipulate his own body language and tone to deceive, and Solomon keeps his genuine opinions on certain matters to himself, and tactfully avoids certain subjects. In order to deal with his situation he has unconsciously become rather good at compartmentalizing the different areas of his life and personality, able to become stone cold and put all his personal feelings to the side for Butelahn. From his home life and military background he has a compulsion to keep busy and be noticed and praised by authority for his work. The harsh reality of society conflicts with his greatest ideals and desire to protect, and he is unable to see the country and nobles for what they really are, as the implications of what it means for his own actions would be too heavy for him to bear. In his mind, the ends justify the means. And so, he continues to perpetuate a broken system.

History: Solomon was raised in one of the poorest villages in southern Butelahn by his single mother, a retired knight, and his husband- his actual father absent from the picture. Growing up with both Butelahn’s culture of patriotism and his informally adopted dad’s well-spun lies and tales of heroism, the greatest desire in his little heart was to follow in his dad’s footsteps and become a knight- protecting his family, fellow countrymen, and the generous nobles. As soon as he could wave around a stick he became a pest, demanding that his dad teach him sword fighting until he finally caved.

Of course, all kids grow up, and eventually he came to understand the difference between those born with status and those born without. In a position lower than most other commoners, without an ounce of noble blood, his dream was impossible for someone like him. However, not one to give up so easily, he decided to join the military as the next best thing. As soon as he was old enough he left home with his mother’s blessing, despite contention from his dads.

He performed rather well during his time, but after a few years he was given a choice. The military wasn’t entirely active, handling small border skirmishes rarely, and not actively doing as much for Butelahn as he’d hoped, so to Solomon the choice was easy. Leaving his position he was able to afford a home further north than his hometown in a larger city and nicer area, and took up bounty hunting. Using his skills he could catch and bring in criminals, making the land a safer place in the process.
Throughout his life injuries were common, but until some time ago he was able to more or less recover from all of them. A bad fight left him with limited use of his left arm, limiting his abilities. Now with the possibility of being accepted into the academy he’s hoping to become a doctor to continue his pursuit of helping others, and maybe even find a way to treat himself.

Of course… that’s just what the people around him can know. The choice given to him by the military was to take a new position- one of utmost secrecy. In addition to doing anything else the royals might require to be done in a clandestine nature- whether it be delivering coded messages, or the rare assasination- Solomon was to seek out and investigate the plans of those who would bring harm to the country from within. Disgusted by the dissidents who would seek to take down the very society that gave them life, he happily accepted, and his current mission has him joining the academy to do just that. How tremendous the opportunity to learn at the academy and greatly further his own education is not lost on him as well.

visage.

Height: 5'11
Weight: 185 pounds
Body Type: Mesomorph
Body Shape: Square
Body Mods: N/A
Markings: A few scars on his neck chest and back. Badly burned on his left thumb and arm.
Style: Generally always in his armor when out in town. He wears long gloves or gauntlets to cover his scarred hand at all times, even when asleep. He owns a few farmhand outfits that he wears during more agriculture-type jobs.

Persona

Positive Traits :
Athletic
: Sporting a muscular and healthy body, he can perform physically exhausting tasks for long periods without failure. He possesses incredible speed even inside of his armor and has a particular strength that compliments it.

Clean: Every place and everything he touches is instantly cleaned and left better than how he had found it. He doesn't necessarily mind dirt or anything dirty in general. It just generally helps him relax whenever he's cleaning something.

Kind: At times, there are moments where Arthur's heart tends to soften. He would offer his hand in assistance towards those that need it without asking any coin in return. He will even give coin to those that need it more than he does, even if he has to go without eating that night. It is these random acts of kindness that remind him of the days before his incident.

Hardworking: Arthur trains and works hard at even tasks given to him no matter how trivial it may be. When he is given a job, he will perform it to the letter and pour all of his energy into it.

Negative Traits :
Coldhearted
: At the end of the day, if there is a task that needs to be done, no matter how morally depraved it might be, Arthur will perform what is required of him. Extortion, vandalism, assault, as long as it doesn't harm any children in the process, everyone can and will be harmed or worse if the order calls for it.

Disloyal: His loyalty is fickle, easily tampered with, and centered around those who pay him the most. Not being above betraying those he has worked for in the past and eliminating those that threaten his new employers.

Greedy: Wealth is everything to him when it comes to his duties. The highest payer will have his sword in whatever way possible they would want him to use it.

Ruthless: Despite his skill and grueling tasks, Arthur does not seek violence unless necessary or ordered. He has always thought of how his death would leave his sister with no one left in this world whenever in conflict. Thus, Arthur had developed a certain survivalist mindset that makes him unable to hold back during any given situation and aim for the kill if given the opportunity. This survival mindset makes him unable to hold back during any given scenario and runs the risk of hurting someone in the process, even if that wasn't his intention. He is aware of this unhealthy mindset and always denies even the most friendly spar offers with other mercenaries and soldiers.

A native to the kingdom of Butelahn, Arthur and his family were penurious even compared to other commoners among the lands. His parents were often gone for long periods to help support him in any way they could. He had watched as his parents would always come home exhausted and would generally hear them fight over things he was too young to understand. He felt as if he were a burden and attempted to help in any way he could, such as cleaning the house and learning how to cook so that they would have a pleasant warm meal whenever they returned. His parents weren't perfect, and they had their apparent flaws, but they were his family, and they made him happy despite rarely being around. After his mother became pregnant and found herself unable to work as much, Arthur began to take small jobs around his village to help keep the income coming in. He still made sure to keep the house clean whenever he returned home and didn't stray away from his cooking duties.

After his sister was born and his mother continued working, Arthur took over the duties to ensure that she was properly taken care of. The time they spent together had made Arthur see why his parents had worked so hard for him. To see her smile and to want her to grow up healthy was something he often worked towards. He'd make funny faces at her, change her dirty doo doos, feed her, and made sure she was entertained at all times. Whenever his sister smiled or laughed, it brought endless joy to his heart. Despite having his hands full and having less than what most others had, he was happy and was grateful for what he had been given.

On a night such as any other, Arthur's home had been engulfed in a raging fire. He was able to get his sister out in time but found himself unable to rescue his parents, and the end resulted in his left thumb and arm being badly burned when he attempted to help pull his mother out from the fallen debris. The sound of sister crying was tuned out as he held her close to him in his arms as he managed to escape the unstable structure and was taken somewhere safer by some of the neighboring commoners. He could feel his heart pound as his breaths were uneven as the sound of burning still filled his ears. Tears flowed down his face as the fear of what happened had settled deep within his subconscious. That continuous burning sound silenced even the sound of the surrounding adults attempting to help.

Without a home and guardians, the town innkeeper allowed the two orphans to stay with him so long as Arthur pitched in a bit of help every once in a while. Of course, he had no reason to object such an offer especially given how kind it was. The young lad had put in more effort in helping than what was required of him out of habit. He cleaned, served tables, and carried a few drunk people home, but he never cooked anymore due to being rather uncomfortable around any fire. Though what the townsfolk noticed was that his face had developed a rather cold look. After the incident, he had felt a certain hollowness in his chest. The loss of his parents had taken a tremendous toll on his emotions and mental stability, but the one thing that was able to return him to how he was before was his sister's smile.

After reaching the proper age of eighteen, the young lad would spend his next four years serving his kingdom's military. It was here that he had discovered his natural talent for conflict. Even during his first few weeks of training, he had proven to be far more gifted than his fellow recruits. He was offered a higher rank if he had continued to stay, but his talents had piqued the interest of a few rather malicious clientele. His decision to work for the most coin took him on the path of a mercenary. Extortion, vandalism, assault, and other violent records were something that he allowed himself to be paid for. He refused any job having to do with the harming of a child, but everything else was accepted without question. If you had the coin, you had his loyalty. That was just the way things worked.

During his travels and calls for assistance, Arthur would never spend too much money on himself. He would eat the bare minimum to keep his body in shape, sleep outside rather than pay for places to rest his head, and repair his gear whenever there was another task that called for his attention. The rest of the money earned was spent entirely on his sister and whatever she wanted. With the occasional handing out of it to those in need more than he was. He ensured his sister would always have food, clothes, shelter, toys, and whatever else she wanted. She was his purpose in life, she was the last thing he had that could make him genuinely smile, and he would ensure her happiness and protection until she no longer needed him by her side. It was her smile that filled the void in his chest.

Kyrta Zynom
Basics

Nickname: None
Title: Military Captain
Kingdom: Butelahn
Occupation: Loyal Soldier
Class: Commoner
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Bisexual
Soulmate: TBD

visage.

Height: 6'2
Weight: 178 pounds
Body Type: Mesomorph
Body Shape: Hourglass
Body Mods: None
Markings: A few scar scatter along her body from continuous battle
Distinguishers: Bright orange hair
Style: Kyrta is rarely ever seen not within her armor due to her pride as a warrior. Her casual clothes are seen as more appropriate to be worn by men, but she likes the comfort it brings. Will only wear dresses when absolutely forced to and will possibly fight you over it.

Persona

Positive Traits :
Selfless
: The well-being of those around her has always been the priority in her life. She is often referred to as the “Big Sister” among the ranks because she ensures her men are behaving themselves. She sacrifices her free time to ensure the people of her nation are doing well and tries her best to meet their standards. While not the best at discussing emotions, Kyrta is willing to listen to those around her and possibly throw them into a friendly headlock before offering a drink.

Competitive: For Kyrta, everything is a game to show who can surpass the other. Whether it be sparring, racing, or even knitting, everything to her is a competition meant to improve her skill and those that she has declared as her rival. Her hardworking nature allows her to continue to push herself to surpass those that are above her. While she aims to be number one in everything she does, Kyrta will never denounce those she competes with. She is often supporting her rivals also to surpass her so that they can continue to grow together.

Friendly: Those who meet Kyrta are often met with a hearty laugh followed by a night of drinking and sometimes a little sparring. Kyrta does not seek to hurt those who share different beliefs than what she does and would instead befriend them to understand their differences better. She emits rather energetic and upbeat energy that expresses no desire to cause conflict. Even towards enemies and rivals alike, Kyrta only seeks a benevolent understanding between them and will strive to ensure that the least casualties will be made.

Negative Traits :
Rowdy
: Having a minor difficulty with showcasing her emotions through words, Kyrta tends to be quite physical when establishing relationships. She headbutts people as a sign of approval or respect, putting others in headlocks as her way of hugging, and constantly seeks to spar and train against those she finds worthy of honing her skills with. Her aggressive style can often come out as rude or even threatening and has caused a few problems with soldiers in neighboring kingdoms.

Stubborn: When there is a goal that she sets her mind to, it is nearly impossible to reason with her. Her desires and duties are what she believes to be truly suitable for her kingdom. She will see her decisions through to the point of severe injury. While she sometimes claims to be open to suggestions, if she finds them too different from her ideals, she is quick to denounce them and go on with her plans instead.

Trusting: She tends to put faith into those she comes around and sees as friends or allies. Kyrta believes that to gain trust, one must give it first. She will always stick her neck out for those that she holds dear to her, which has more than once caused her to be manipulated and used for malicious agendas she was not aware of.

Born into a rowdy and rather crowded home with her seven older brothers, Kyra's fate was sealed from the moment she could hold a wooden sword in her hand. Her lineage was filled with military personnel known throughout the kingdom. While it wasn't necessarily a tradition they followed, it seemed every son and daughter born into the family was quick to enlist in serving the domain. She would often fight and wrestle with her older brothers and often come home with a few scrapes and bruises from fighting with the neighborhood boys. However, everyone seemed to have started leaving her alone after her brothers began having particular "talks" with the neighborhood kids. She had always looked up to her brothers with how strong and kind they were to others. Her admiration to be just like them caused her to train hard for long periods throughout each day. Her mother attempted to teach her about the finer things about being a lady. Still, given her stubbornness, she wanted to be just like her elder brothers as they one by one began leaving the house to enlist in the military. Every time one would come home to visit, they would find themselves tackled to the ground by her before getting put into a headlock.

When she became of proper age, she would set out to enlist herself into her kingdom's forces. On her first day of training, she had somewhat got herself into a troublesome situation when she learned that an elder Royal Knight would be the one to oversee their training. She had nearly fainted from excitement as she had gotten to meet one, though it seemed to headbutt the elder Knight as a sign of respect was not a good first impression to those around her. However, she was a bit relieved when the Knight had laughed off her headbutt before slamming his head into hers and sending her tumbling to the ground. That experience had awoken something in her. She was tough, but she had a long way before she would be someone that could protect the nation she so loved. Day and night, Kyrta would push her body to its utmost limits until the point where her exhausted body would give out. She vowed to surpass her fellow recruits and turn every training exercise into a competition to help push herself. At the end of their training regime, she was selected to serve under the Royal Knights due to her being far above her fellow recruits.

During her first battle, her superiors had taken note of her bravery on the battlefield, but there stood one defining feature surrounding her success against their kingdom's enemy. She would often stand near her injured soldiers to ensure they could safely retreat and fought off any that would attempt to take their life. Her dedication to protecting her fellow soldiers resulted in many of them pledging their loyalty to her. As she grew in rank, so did her influence over the people she led over. Her continuous improvement and sisterly nature earned her place as a Captain of her people's nation. With still much for her to learn and grow with, she will continue to serve under her Royals and ensure that the prosperity of her home will only flourish, and those that threaten her nation will be dealt with accordingly.

VISAGE:
Height
: 6'2
Weight: 178 pounds
Body Type: Mesomorph
Body Shape: Hourglass
Body Mods: None
Markings: A few scar scatter along her body from continuous battle
Distinguishers: Bright orange hair
Style: Kyrta is rarely ever seen not within her armor due to her pride as a warrior. Her casual clothes are seen as more appropriate to be worn by men, but she likes the comfort it brings. Will only wear dresses when absolutely forced to and will possibly fight you over it.

PERSONA:

Style: Fero only ever sports his armor and blade for more work centered matters, otherwise, despite his wealth, prefers to wear comfortable clothes similar to what most commoners wear.

Persona

A happy-go-lucky mercenary who's always looking for a good time and usually has plenty of coins to waste at bars, Fero is a generous, lovable, and sometimes goofy kind of guy due to his friendly personality. He is embarrassing, outgoing, loving, and talkative to the point where it seems he would never shut up. When drunk, Fero can often be seen telling awful jokes that only he finds funny or attempting to arm wrestle the largest guy he can find for extra coin to spend on even more alcohol. Fero, however, can also be a bit naive to where his kindness has often led him to be taken advantage of more than anything else. He is trusting of those around him and wishes to see only the best in people. He doesn't want to see evil in the eyes around him and will often shake it off as if nothing could be seen to begin with. There are also a few subjects of speech that can lead Fero to become quiet and unusually angry. This has often led to fights with fellow friends after letting his anger get the best of him. His constant drinking also isn't just for a good time as it is a means for escape. The remembrance of his most hated memories in conflict is something he wishes to unsee. Fero is a pacifist in a sense, never wanting to draw his blade to take another life. All life to him is precious to him somehow, and he will always seek to compromise with an enemy to ensure everyone can see their family and loved ones again. His reluctance to take another life has led to many injuries over the years. If not for his skill with a blade, he would have been killed a long time ago.

A noble son of the renowned Sincure family, Fero was brought up in a home where everything would be handed to him if he had asked. Hardships were something he had never experienced; everything came easy to him: books, teachers, clothes, even performers from across the kingdom. Fero was groomed for a life full of politics and was supposed to rise in power through his teachings. However, Fero would learn of the kingdom's history and what came along with it. He was fascinated with the tales and legends of warriors from the past. Their strength, determination, and chivalry were something that he had admired and strived to be. While his parents were reluctant to allow this to transpire, they eventually allowed him to access the resources necessary for his training.

Knighthood would eventually come to him at an early age, and after his training was officially complete, he would take all his fellow trainees out for a night of fun. Fero loved to drink, loved to party and sing, and absolutely adored the closeness it brought between people. Like the stories he read, everything was merry and ecstatic. He would constantly host parties for his knights and soldiers and allow bonds to form in every way. Every soldier he would meet would get to know them—their hopes, dreams, ambitions, and families. He would learn with them, grow with them, and love them as if they were his own bloodline. Eventually, Fero would enter his first battle among the men he had connected with. The tales of great warriors, legends, and the glory were battle. All the things he had read in stories possessed a much different outlook than he wanted to believe. There was nothing more painful than to notify a family of their deceased loved one. With every soldier he lost, he had only ever blamed himself, often looking back to what he could have done better. To point out his flaws, his weaknesses, and his mistakes. He was aware of the risk, the hardships, and even the burden of what it all brought. However, knowing and experiencing were two different things.

After each battle, Fero would sink deeper into each bottle. The constant stench of Ale encompassing him wherever he went. Fero couldn't look most families in the face with a sober look whenever the news was brought to them. How could he? The look of despair across their faces was something he could only dread. Alcohol gave him a sort of comfort whenever he was faced with hardships, and he needed it. He had a position to uphold, a duty that he had to see through. A nation that needed to be protected. However, even if it was for the greater good of the kingdom, it wasn't something he wanted to keep seeing. And the bottles he drank sometimes made it easier to forget. His usual joyful self had taken a significant turn into something more sorrowful. His attitude had even begun affecting the ones he had led. Everything had always come easy to him, but this was something he wasn't able to handle mentally.

After years of serving his kingdom and fulfilling his duties, Fero would slowly learn that there was always more power that came with words rather than swords. Even if it were against his superior's direct orders, he would strive to end conflicts through compromise and understanding. Every battle that was avoided was a victory to him. The joy that had escaped his eyes long ago would slowly return with every success. Soldiers being able to return home to their families was all that he wished for.
