  With a good degree of control over kinetic energy, Kimiko looks as if she's psychic to those she shows her skills...but is not. Manipulating the motion of substances around her, the woman simply speeds up objects or stops them dead in their tracks. To stabilize her circuits, Kimiko wears a set of violet earrings which keep the effects of her kinetic manipulations from spiraling out of control. Mainly used to stop and deflect any projectiles that come her way, Kimiko does know how to use "Force" offensively; launching objects at foes with increased speed, or using it alone to deliver near-invisible, hard-hitting strikes that never fail to catch a careless opponent off-guard.

  Biography:
  
  
  Born to as the second child to a high-raking member of the infamous Yakuza organization operating inside of Japan, Kimiko soon became the family;s only child when her older brother was killed. Devastated and upset by the loss of her elder brother, Kimiko's father pushed her to become his replacement, setting the young girl on a path to becoming his successor should he meet an untimely death while in the midst of duty. While Kimiko's mother did not agree with the decision, wanting Kimiko's father to quit the Yakuza way of life altogether, Kimiko felt just the opposite, wanting to follow in her dad's footsteps and become a Yakuza chief in their respective clan. This was their livelihood right? How they earned respect. How they were able to get what they've got. It was only logical that with her brother out of the picture, Kimiko was to fill in the empty void...right?
  
  
  Now the vote at two-to-one against her mother's wishes for the family to cut ties with Yakuza, the family eventually split with Kimiko's father taking her away in the middle of the night to another location, never to see her mother again. It was a rough time for the child, adjusting to a life so abruptly now without the presence of her mother, but the activities and lessons her father put her through soon took her mind off of things. Coming to know the ins and outs of the crime business, Kimiko was quick to internalize the workings of organized crime and the many systems that were constantly at play. Positioning lookouts around the scene of an active robbery, fibbing to authorities, and hot-wiring cars were just a few of the skills Kimiko learned from her time under the tutelage of her father. The discovery of her Magecraft during the getaway of a botched operation, only served to increase her reputation as someone capable among the members of her clan. So much so, that when her powers reached a certain level of maturity, her father stepped back and without hesitation, let Kimiko take his place as a lieutenant of the Jagged Dagger clan.
  
  
  Month after month Kimiko completed her assigned missions, some of them escaping narrowly with her life despite the using of magecraft, and others, finishing them easily with a graceful aplomb. It would be during her 26th birthday when she would first make contact with the Mage's Association. The fight was not long with Mages of the Association showing the girl exactly how bad she was at controlling her own magic. Restrained, Kimiko was told of her being selected for the next Holy Grail War and given two choices. Participate and join them, or be arrested for using her mage-craft in a criminal way. The power the Association held above her and her organization was obvious, so the Yakuza lieutenant agreed to join. Glad that she ended up choosing the peaceful route, the Association quickly took in Kimiko and taught her how to control her magic in return.

  Directly translating into "Enhancement Magecraft", Mejora Magia is the act of imbuing objects with powerful bursts of Mana. Fabiana and those of her ilk are quite literally, mana-producing batteries. Forerunners of the family used their mana-generation and enhancement in more healing type fashion, using their energies to replenish the cores of the Mage's Association's prana-powered machines, but Fabiana and a few others have made their mage powers lean to offensive. With the weapons they carry, they are armed with dangerous conduits of which they can siphon their magical energies to increase the destructiveness of the chosen item. Known to carry a whip for flexibility and a sword for power, the Arriaga is also able to take mundane items and push them to limits they'd never reach otherwise.

  Biography:
  
  
  As a member of the prestigious Arriaga family, Fabiana was entitled to the best of everything throughout her youth. Given courtesies not afforded to those of lesser lineage, the child grew into a serious woman that knew what she wanted, and didn't hesitate in stepping forward to go and get it. Sure it'd take a bit of effort, but she always got everything she ever wanted, why would any other situation be any different? It was a beautiful life that the girl enjoyed, procuring items, teachings, and techniques that'd be hard to come by for others, but as with all things in excess, Fabiana became quite...bored.
  
  
  Where was the challenge? The hard work? The supposed blood, sweat, hardship, tears needed to get what a person wanted? Why was it so difficult for everyone else, but so easy for her? Seeking the answer to her question, Fabiana would apply for one of the most challenging position's the Mage's Association had to offer: Special Designation Enforcer. And naturally...she got it. Hunting down A-Wall Magi the Association considered too dangerous to leave on their own...it had to be hard right? These people had bounties, studied techniques the Association heads deemed irreplicable and irreplaceable; of course she'd have to fight for this one! Well...if only there were actually any mages treacherous enough to receive the special designation.
  
  
  Yes, it was true. Currently the Mage's Association had no one listed under their Special Designation. So, Arriaga was relegated to hunting down useful allies and Magi who've committed merely low-level crimes among the world and the Association. Fabiana was actually the Magi sent to Japan to seek out Kimiko Kanegawa and force her to join the Mage's Association. As the Arriaga was told Japan's mages did not accept the teachings of the Mage's Association, and therefore, did not want to join the organization, Fabiana brushed it off and left to pursue Kimiko anyway. Soloing Kimiko's accomplices at what seemed to be a birthday party, Fabiana quickly overpowered the Japanese Magi and pushed her into joining their side for the upcoming Holy Grail War. It would be 6 months before the start of the war, that Fabiana would reveal to Kimiko that she was chosen as a Magus for it too.

  As is most of his country, Patrek's magecraft reflects what enshrouds him most: ice. A frost magician, Patrek is able to manipulate temperatures, bringing them in some cases, even to below freezing. When not turning the surrounding zone into an arctic, frozen, span, Patrek resorts to creating weapons of ice to conserve his magical energies. Ice armor, ice wings, and other chilling augments of the like, allow him to adapt to a number of situations.   The Left Wing of Iceland's National Hockey Team, Patrek Bergmann is the definition of "man". Physical, confident, and aware of his strength, the magician was an obvious standout early in his elementary days. Tenacious and unafraid to bump bodies with the other kids, a sense of self-worth was cultivated early in his life. Pushed by his parents as well as himself to excel, Patrek came to be known as one of the better athletes among his peers all throughout his middle and high school years. Yet, it was the discovery and growing interest in women that turned him into the person he is today. It would also be his first kiss, that led the young magician to discover his powers for the very first time.
  
  
  Giving his partner an extreme case of severe frostbite, Patrek was distraught. He truly believed there was something wrong with him. Search after search across the internet however, that he was very normal. Through underground chat-rooms, backroads of the internet, and shady meetings with others who claimed to know what he was experiencing, the man found that he was, in fact, a magician discovering the use of magical circuits. Why no one in his family before him had gone through such a thing was not able to be answered, but the information he did learn was worth more than the finest jewels. There were others like him spread across the world; there were even branches of magicians based in different places around the world. Hm...it was certainly cool being a magician but...he much rather preferred to play hockey. And that he did.
  
  
  Eventually coming to join his country's national hockey team, Patrek would never pay his magic skills mind unless it was to chill drinks for the women he courted after each and every match. There was one he would never forget. Saying she came all the way from Venezuela to see him play, the girl lavished love onto Patrek so easily, but something in the back of his mind told him the affection was off. That the admiration was forced. That something else was at work. Sure enough, after their 5th and 6th shots of tequila Patrek was informed of his status as a participant of the next Holy Grail War on the sheets of his hotel room bed. However, left at the height of his lust for the body of the foreign stranger's, he was given a card with her name and the words, "If you ever want to see me again, come to New York City on this exact date."

  Grisha Ulyanov. Grisha was a good kid, loved very much by his Magus parents until one day they discovered him dead in the middle of their backyard. A look of horror on his face was accompanied by bruises stretched around his neck. However, what gave little Grisha's parents pause were two circular holes pierced just below his chin. The drops of blood on his shirt and splattered across the surrounding ground pointed to something sitting at the edge of their minds. Both his mother and father felt like uttering the word in that moment, but their logic wouldn't let them believe it. And neither did the police. Labeling the death of Grisha as a homicide, the boy's body was buried soon after with no questions about the circumstances asked. Or rather; kept from being asked. The case of Grisha's murder would forever remain unsolved.
  
  
  For several years his body would lay buried until one night, he awoke. Grisha's soul rose from its coffin with the instincts of a savage beast. Freed from his body and set to roam his neighborhood as a roving ghoul, the boy would do nothing, think of of nothing, but to consume. Drawn to eating the corpses of other dead humans to reconstruct his own degenerated flesh. In under a year, the ghoul would amass enough bodies to fully re-create its own. This was when the deceased fully awoke. Regaining his will and a proper form to maintain his soul, Grisha then began the long process of increasing his intelligence and retrieving lost memories through the sucking of human's blood.. One-hundred-and-twenty years passed and the maturation of his life was finally complete. Turning into a full-fledged vampire, the man soon became a target of the Holy Church.
  
  
  Away from his own village Grisha would run after his 67th victim drew the eye of the Holy Church's Asian division. Into snow-capped mountains he fled, resting during the day and moving great distances while it was night. Yet, the man could fill the Church closing around him. There were moment's where he'd bare;y avoid getting caught in an automatic trap, hear the odd sound of a gunfire shooting off in the distance, and the smell of garlic soon surrounding him whenever he found a new place to stay. At the edge of insanity feeling the Church get closer and closer, Grisha would meet a stranger, be given a small backpack and told to travel to America. New York City was where the boy should go. There he'd meet a man, his master, the one that killed and turned him over 130 years ago. Whether the boy sought to kill his murderer in revenge when they met face-to-face was completely up to Grisha, but the stranger suggested to at least see what would come out the meet-up. With no other options and running out of time, the child relented, opening the backpack to find a map with directions to what looked like a small, unmanned airport hidden in the heart of a forest.

  An amateur at wind magecraft, at least consciously, Liliane doesn't even know she has it. She has seen instances where her motions create a bit of a disturbance in the air around her, but for the most part these odd happenings are just a part of life. The idol's ignorance aside, her wind powers are mainly used for travel and escape. Floating in the air, leaping in long arcs over tall obstacles, and carrying friends while throwing away enemies in distance is within the mage's powers. Though Liliane, whether she knows it or not, exercises her control of wind to manipulate her voice, making it booming if needing to stretch through large spans, or light and focused to make best use of her melody when performing for a small crowd.

  She would be destined to be a star long before her bones even formed. Unknown was her fate to both Liliane and the parents that moved to adopt her. Liliane Roussel's real name had been lost to the world along with all evidence of her biological mother and father. Picked up the pits of her arm, the child was given a new one, one to reflect the new life her caretakers were going to give her. Taking note of the pink hair and smiling face, they tagged her as someone special, and during the age of 5 discovered a bit of what truly set her apart. Liliane's true parents were Magus, the first to develop powers dealing with control of the wind and their child came to display those same powers hovering near the ceiling of their central living room. Not sure what to do, Liliane's parents kept it a secret from her and others, instead encouraging the growing girl to pursue more "human," pursuits.
  
  
  So to singing she turned. Focusing her passions and excess energy into making music for others to hear, Liliane rose to local stardom with the unconscious help of her Magic energy. People would rave that her voice carried for miles; that whether you stood in front of her or positioned yourself a good distance away, the music was still beautiful no matter how far you went. Her voice being carried on the tails of the wind allowed her songs to experience absolutely no loss in quality, no count of degradation; the last note would sound just as crisp as her song's very first. Featured in magazines and growing in popularity across online polls of the best up and coming, the girl increasingly began to receive offers of tours, sponsorships, deals, many invitations to sing at events her parents did not Lilaiane to attend. She was still too young to be setting out on her own to venture in a world that was so huge. Her mother and father would wait. At least until she was 18.
  
  
  Time passed and one night her parents had a serious conversation. They were contacted by an American offering Liliane and her family a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. To sing in front of a crowd thousands at a concert bringing together the most talented artists in entertainment today, from all walks of life. For her, it would be maximum exposure. A chance to get her name out there and tell the world that she had arrived. Eventually, they decided to let Liliane go, but would accompany her to make sure that nothing went wrong. They wouldn't be around her 24/7 as she deserved a bit of independence, but at least they'd be staying in a hotel close by. The American had promised to give her a personal guard to quell their fears of anything bad happening during the visit to New York, so with a comforted mind, they walked down to their daughter's room and broke the exciting news.

  One of the more common forms of Magecraft known to the community at large, Steel Body is known to give its user an unrivaled durability; at least against physical attacks. As it is a magical technique, using another type of magecraft is the best way to combat it. Tomasson is proficient in the use of this, able to turn his body complete solid, or change parts of his anatomy into thick sheets of metal. This power is mostly defensive in nature, but for those who think its range and deadliness is limited by that would be slightly mistaken. Able to form bullets of magical metal, Tomasson can shoot these at enemies to somewhat compensate for his lack of long-range firepower. When in full-on metal-mode, Tomasson becomes a standard berserker, taking any hit that comes his way and trucking anything that tries to stand in his path.

  There's the mayor New York, Mitch Inglestein. And then there's Tomasson Ruiz. Above the streets in the bright city's daylights, the town is ruled by the Mayor, making proclamations and setting tasks to be done in their assigned areas, but below the façade, lies those truly in control of NYC. Behind Mayor Inglestein, sits the family of Ruiz, heirs to the city for the past 3 generations. Ordinary citizens walk the streets not knowing that they are part of the biggest front. Tomasson's grandfather came to New York City long ago with a plan in mind. After being ridiculed and ousted from a teaching position in the Mage's Association class of wizardy, the man set out to make a name for himself and prove his worth to the nobles that raised their nose at him. So with the help of inherent magecraft, make a name for himself he did.
  
  
  A sort of vigilante law enforcement, Tomasson's grandfather quickly got the gangs of NYC in line. At 2, 3, 4 in the morning you could hear him work day in and day out. A spray of bullets followed by the slugs ricocheting of pure metal would fill the night air as deviants tried their best to harm the man. Pepper spray, knives, automatic rifles, grenades, and in one instance, even a sawed-off shotgun. Yet it would not stop Tomasson's grandfather in all the years he spent helping the city clean up its streets. However, at the end of the day, he was still a vigilante and it would be Tomasson's father that cemented the relationship between the Ruiz and the cops. Crime rates plummeted and NYC came to be known as one of the safest cities in the Eastern United States. Giving all the credit for busts and inside information to the normal police in order to keep his magecraft a secret, Tomasson's father was the people's secret protector. In essence, the elected officials' reputations and currently easy-going careers were nestled in the palm of his hand.
  
  
  Tomasson's father and grandfather laid down the roadwork for Tomasson himself to be in the position he was today. With basically every single official firmly tucked into pocket, the man runs New York. If there's ever a policy, event, or construction that looks seemingly out place, you can be assured that it was Tomasson who thought it up. As citizens are told of NYC holding a massive event for the biggest up-and-coming artists across the world, a special invitation is sent overseas to one going by the name of Liliane Roussel. Through some old acquaintances of his grandfather's, Tomasson has caught wind of a certain war making its way to his city. The holy grail. The fabled object of legend. One that could grant the wish of anybody who touched its power. This...this was it. This had to be it. The recognition his grandfather and father strived for. Surely winning the grail would leave no doubt in anyone's mind that the Ruiz were not a people to sneeze at. Not by the Arriaga, not by the Stark, not by anyone.   The main power for the family of Komagata, Electromagnetic Projection is a variation of the Electromagnetism arts. Using electricity as a construct, moving or not, Eiji is able to shoot in different shapes from his body. Having pure lightning take state in tangible form affords him different techniques that allow him to be lethal yet resourceful. Usually seen shielding himself from assaults in a bright, pulsing, electromagnetic orb, the magus has been known to create physical storms that rip and shred the world around him in its furious bursts.   A man standing for what he believes in and the head of the mages in the Gifu prefecture, Eiji is one in a million; or so his students would say. Caring, inspiring, and always looking to lead pack in all the right ways, the magician changes the expectation of how a proper Japanese Magus should act, with rules of his own. One: don't be pressured into anything. Your life is your own and you are free to do with it as you wish. Two: never settle. If there is something you want to accomplish, go at it with both hands; with all your might. If you do stumble and end up falling flat, you can at least smile and rest easy taking solace in the fact you left it all out on the line trying to do your very best. It's what Eiji espouses. Freedom. Reaching for the change you want to see, and staying true to one's self and potential. So hearing about Kimiko's departure from Japan in the steps of an Association Mage, thrust him into action.
  
  
  They were always racist, even hostile to those of oriental descent and it was that very distaste that led to those in Japan declining to join the organization spread across Europe and the Americas. Yet here they were. Taking a mage from their country and forcing her to join the war for the grail on their side. From what he heard, a noble had been sent to make contact and single-handedly took down Kimiko with her squad. Nobles were always dirty business, but for the Association to send one into the heart of Japan...to get their hands another spot...there must be something big going on. It was a blatant power-grab by the organization; and one he would not turn a blind eye to. How could he? He had been selected as a participant too. Waking up one night with glowing crimson on the skin of his wrist, Eiji knew the grail chose him to have his wish fulfilled. For those in Japan to be as strong as and even surpass the Magus of the Association who looked down on them so. If Eiji were to find the root of all magic, he would bring them home and share the secrets with his fellow brothers and sisters. They would rise as the true, accepting embodiment of how a coalition of mages should act.
  
  
  Travelling to the home of Kimiko to gather more clues, Eiji was given insight into her character by the one who'd been with her most: her father. Distraught over his daughter's joining with another group, Kimiko's father gave his heart, his wish and hope for Eiji to save her. To bring his heiress back to her sense. Without askance of anything, Eiji agreed, seeing it not only as a request from a hurting father, but as a chance to act on the values he works so hard to spread to magicians of his district. With Kimiko's father's blessing, Eiji returns to his school in Gifu and prepares to travel the location of the next Holy Grail War: New York City, New York. Educated on its workings by the elders of the Komagata line, the magus is very aware that he could die as well as be presented with the opportunity to gain untold power in the form of one wish. Yet, first and foremost would be the safety of Kimiko, and making sure the path she walked was the one she really wanted to be on.
