Personality: Fasmus isn't someone that is generally taken seriously. Despite his vast array of knowledge he is far from carrying the air of a wise man. He is quite clumsy and weak, but his intellect and cunning alchemical traps still make him a formidable enemy. He generally tries to lighten any mood—he abhors seriousness—though he understands when he has to take a stand and focus. He can be quite mocking and often comes off as a little mean as he sometimes doesn't know when to stop. He genuinely cares for others, however, and doesn't like discord of any sort. He's the lazy type, too—terrible at waking up in the morning.
Backstory: Fasmus was born into a fairly well-off life. He quickly found out he had an aptitude for alchemy and thought that he would exploit this talent for his benefit. His parents believed that he could not be raised in a life of luxury; they believed spoiling their child would lead to him becoming a bad person. He was forced to be independent, selling healing potions to those who required them. He flourished in the hardships and, while he cursed his parents at the time, he begrudgingly admitted that the lifestyle they kept from him would most likely have been bad for him.


Once nearly mastering alchemy, he branched out into other areas of knowledge. He was not very knowledgable at history as he found it to be boring. He excelled at geography, the arts and many more. He learnt how to tap into the information trade of the city, becoming a hub of information that many would flock to. He played his cards close to his chest most of the time, however. He made a side-business of running his own tea shop. He finds the atmosphere soothing, the conversation merry and the tea (which he made) delicious.


His parents passed away having lived full lives. Fasmus fortunately got to be at their side as they died. His wife, Tetra, was by his side. His parents expressed sadness at not being able to experience the world outside the walls once more before they died. However, it could not be helped.


Tetra passed away in an accident outside the walls. She was always a risk-taker which stood at odds with Fasmus's more cautious nature. Her luck had run out, however, and the party she had travelled with were hit by the rain. She protected them as much as she could, managing to get her comrades back to the city before her life was sapped from her body. Fasmus had her cremated and wears her ashes in a small bag which he wears on a large necklace which weighs down his neck, causing him to hunch forward slightly.

*Alchemy: Fasmus is one of the few known to weaponise fireworks in what he called "Colour Bombs". He can use them as distractions and as weapons. He is also adept at healing injuries through herbs and other natural ingredients, though it is a lengthy process.
