Real Name: Faro (the mer don't have last names)
Storybrook Name: Connor Turner (much to his disgust, one of the most boring humans he knows is called Conor)
Age: 21 (age is a difficult and unknown concept for the mer, he looks a bit younger, but is treated as 21. It's more convenient for him anyway, what with drinking and all)
Gender: Male
Story: Ingo books (slightly different idea of mermaids to once, they prefer being called the mer)
Appearance:
As well as what's shown in the picture, Faro has some piercings, the visible ones being snakebites. He has a single tattoo on his chest, shown above. Normally hidden piercings include nipple piercings and a belly button piercings.
Human: Faro is tall, about 6'1, he's quite strong but not hugely muscly. He often walks around shirtless, even more so now that he remembers he's mer.
Mer: Unlike normal mermaids, the mer have a very different tail. Instead of scales, mer have a smooth tail. Faro's tail is a pale grey-blue colour.
History: Faro used to live in the enchanted forest, or rather in one of the seas joined to it. Him and his twin sister were fairly normal mer-folk, although they both interacted with humans more than they were ever really meant to. He's completed the crossing of Ingo, which is a rite of passage for the mer-folk. He got caught in the queen's curse and brought to Storybrooke, where he lived as Connor Turner, a personal trainer. It isn't the most impressive of jobs, or the best paying, the gym isn't hugely popular, but it pays enough for him to have a small apartment to himself. Now his memories are back, he's in nowhere near as much of a rush as everyone else to get back, happy just chilling in Storybrooke, although he may spend more time in the sea again.
Personality: Faro is a huge flirt. He's the type of person that seems to struggle with the idea of personal space and almost always has a point of contact with whoever he's talking to, generally something like an arm thrown over their shoulder. As well as this, Faro is a showoff, more than happy to walk around shirtless all the time, and happy to show off his tail and the fact he's mer now that he has it back, it's a part of himself that he's proud of.
