Some more detail on the areas because I think it's important I establish some other things, if you want to know more about the history of Atlea itself and not just locations then just ask me in OOC or even ask one of the characters I control in the RP

Provinces Overview

There are six provinces: three are under the control of the Lord of Evil, two are under the control of non-monster species and one is essentially a battlefront. at the moment. They have very starkly contrasting biomes because Atlea was created with such a variety of races that they need many different environments to house them all successfully.

These six provinces consist of these biomes:
~ Grassland
~ Forest
~ Desert
~ Tundra
~ Volcanic
~ Distortion

Phosphoryl- Grassland

A beautiful open plains with an abundance of all different types of species. This area easily contains the largest variety of species in all of Atlea. It arguably has the most stable living conditions in the whole nation and as a result it is home to many different settlements as well as many indigenous creatures as well as the weakest monsters of all the provinces. It made perfect sense for the FFQ to be set up in the capital city of Stornway, the decorative city built upon a hill that not only contained the base of operation for the FFQ but also the palace of the overruling royal family of Atlea.

Phosphoryl is the third smallest province and is situated at the southernmost point of all the provinces and has borders with Moga to the north of it. Phosphoryl is currently under the control of the Royal Family.

Moga- Forest

Another nature heavy area Moga is a very fast forest, being much larger than Phosphoryl and almost enclosing the whole of the of the north of the grassland province in its looming but eerily beautiful overbearing presence. It has many lakes spread throughout the grassy flowers dotted with many flowers and no grand settlements at all. It also has segments of marsh scary termed throughout the area as well as heavily darkened areas due to the mass of trees there. Legend has it that the darkest parts of the woods contain an ancient weapon guarded by strong foes The animals here are far harder to cultivate than in Phosphoryl and the presence of stronger monster here has caused a bitter relationship between the ruler of Moga and the royal family as he seems to think he was spitefully given the worst land to rule over.

Moga is the second largest province and borders with Phosphoryl to the south, Gleeba to the northwest and Snowberia to the northeast. Moga is currently under control of the Royal Family.

Gleeba- Desert

Gleeba is a vast and often sweltering desert with sandstorms being frequent in many areas of it. As a result few settlements can be set up there, the most notable being Osaum the capital of the province, and those who live there are best equipped to live. Many monsters who exist here are small in size so that they don't need to eat much to survive, as a result of their frail structure they have evolved to become extremely intelligent and the majority of them can control magic very well. The desert itself is mostly plain flat lands of sand with few oasis's and lots of different rock spires. The phenomenon of the 'dual suns' of Gleeba is one that has yet to be explained with concrete evidence. Though the leading theory is that the smaller 'sun' that can be seen occasionally both night and day is really just the largest volcano in Scaldarea erupting. It is part of the "Parallel deserts" which is a name people of Atlea use to address the neighbouring provinces of Gleeba and Snowberia.

Gleeba is the third largest province and borders with Moga to the south, Snowberia to the east and Scaldarea to the north. Moga is currently the location of an ongoing battle between the Lord of Evil and the FFQ parties.

Snowberia- Tundra

Snowberia is a tundra with extremely cold temperatures, few can reside here and those who do are either usually made out of ice. Lakes are impossible to find in this area but seemingly all of the ice in the area, when melted, provides safe drinking water. This means that the water scarce province of Gleeba often rely on Snowberia to supply them with water, who often give hot coals and other stones for fuel in return. The largest village, known as Samuville, is actually amongst the wealthiest in all of the provinces. The monsters who roam here face little competition from civilised races (and now even less competition as a result of the Lord of Evil) and are notorious for being abundant, violent and physically powerful in this area. The shining markings found in the sky and, more faintly, on the ice in the whole of Snowberia is theorised to be an ancient magic placed in both the sky and the ground throughout Snowberia by old and powerful sorcerers in order to keep the water pure. Those who live in Samuville often believe Moga is blessed with the same magic as, despite its border with the freezing cold Snowberia, Moga still remains full of life and nature and not frozen at all. It is part of the "Parallel deserts" which is a name people of Atlea use to address the neighbouring provinces of Gleeba and Snowberia.

Snowberia is the second smallest province and borders with Gleeba to the east and Moga to the south. Supposedly it also connects to the elusive "province" of Noitpurroc, though only few manage to find the way to the province according to the old legends and those who supposedly do never return. Snowberia is currently under the control of the Lord of Evil.

Scaldarea- Volcanic

Scaldarea is the most dangerous region in all of Atlea. Monsters with power beyond belief reside here and civilised species are very limited to those who can survive these kinds of temperatures. The temperatures here make Gleeba look like Snowberia and the constant erupting of the smaller volcanoes and the occasional but powerful eruptions of the largest one, Mt. Demiserase, aren't helping it's case of being the least desirable place to visit in all of Atlea. Lava lakes aren't uncommon in Scaldarea either. The sun is often blocked out by the overpowering dust cloud far above the height of Mt. Demiserase and plant life is nonexistent in this hostile territory. Supposedly this is where the Lord of Evil's base of operations is, no one outside of the province has confirmed this so far however and many of the civilised species in this area were killed or captured by the Lord of Evil as this was the first place he invaded.

Scaldarea is the smallest province in all of Atlea and borders with Gleeba to the south. Scaldarea is currently under control of the Lord of Evil.

Noitpurroc- Distortion

Little is known about the odd "province" of Atlea known as Noitpurroc, supposedly it does not follow the laws of physics and doesn't seem to have a sky. Some theorise that this is the true base of operations of the Lord of Evil and some theorise that it existence was an accident or a form of corrupted magic. Rumours of an extrmely large and powerful monster living in this area have been passed around from Snowberia to all of Atlea though no one knows if it is true. Civilised species here are undiscovered, non existent or dead.

It is by far the largest "province" and supposedly accessed through Snowberia. Apparently this area is under the control of the Lord of Evil but there isn't much evidence to back that up other than there being a large and powerful monster present in Noitpurroc.
