After the fall of the Enclave to the Chosen One other groups had the ability to rise unhampered by the stagnating empire. First it was the Brotherhood of Steel, a group forged during the great war, tempered during the dark reign of the Enclave, and finally brandished after the Enclave's fall to the chosen one. They were the second most technologically advanced faction in the wasteland and in an even numbered battle against almost anyone, they were bound to win. Slowly they expanded, from their bases in the west to the east. In the Capital Wasteland they alone were able to defeat the Enclave. The second group was the NCR, or the New California Republic. The NCR was birthed little over a hundred years after the Great War. After the Chosen One destroyed the oil rig the NCR and Brotherhood of Steel joined together and attacked Navarro, the last large western Enclave base. Heavily outnumbered the Enclave were defeated, but they inflicted horrendous casualties on both the BOS and NCR. Afterwards countless wars waged, NCR vs BOS, NCR vs Legion, BOS vs Institute, of which are a few. Now the world rises as the two top dogs, NCR and BOS, are ready to butt heads once again, but something stirs in the ashes of the past, something..... American.
