Types of magic:

Fire: Obvious. Control the element of fire.

Generic: Card tricks and the like, like a modern day magician

Air: Harness lightning and the power of the sky and air

Water: Obvious. Control the element of water

Emotional: Again, obvious. Control a person's emotions. Ineffective against anything non-human

Psychic: Control things with will power, and read people's thoughts

God: Obtainable only to the gods, this is a passive magic that immediately gives them mastery over all other types of magic

Natural: Harness nature itself, shape shifting and controlling wild life

Earth: Obvious. Control the element of stone

Dark: Power of the demons. Have control over psychic, fire and earth powers to gain the ability to fly, as well as curse people with death and misery. Those whom use these powers are said to be cursed to be able to go to neither to heroica (heaven) nor wremza (hell)

Light: Power of the angels. Have control over nature natural, air and psychic powers to gain the ability to fly, as well as bless people with health and happiness. Those whom use these powers are said to be blessed to be able to go to neither heroica (heaven) nor wremza (hell)

The world:

Well, the Capital of the World is Evermor, where the King has his seat. Technically, he is the King of the entire world, and has a mental link to Belia, the giant magical dragon who carries the world on his back, but even so there are other Kings within his "Kingdom". Most people ignore him, though he's their sovereign. There are multiple states within his kingdom, and each state calls itself a Kingdom. The Central lands are all one huge state, but Cakara has shit tons of states. In the north west of Cakara are the "free states", a collection of cities, each city a state in its own right. All the free states are banded together, with a "we'll win together, but step one foot without me knowing and you're dead" kind of feeling. I can only remember a few of the free states. There's Teraq and Tilyn. Teraq is a huge, solitary mountain filled with dwarves, and Tilyn is a small city of Eterm and humans just outside. Because they're so close, they're considered a single state. Hok is another one, a port city on the coast, where the worst of the worst usually end up. And there's Lockhold, an island just off the west coast. Beautiful, rich place. There's also the Great Forest, which is a massive and dark place filled with monsters. There's a town just outside the Forest, inside the state, but I can't remember its name. Then, after the free states, there's the Empire of Derasen. It's basically a huge state, but it calls itself an Empire, and it has an "Emperor". The only city I can remember inside the Empire is Derasen itself. Anyway, the Empire and the free states are always fighting over territory. Further to the east, we've got the Magic Tower, also known as Frostcrag Spire, where all the mages live. Southwards, we have Lokaw, which is basically the centre of all evil. It's capital is Lokaw, and it's ruled by Lokaw. That is basically Cakara.

Okay, so let's start with High Rock. It is not technically a part of the Central Lands, but it's not part of Cakara, either, so we may as well do it now. It's basically a massive rock, four square miles wide, erected by the god Makarin to demonstrate his divine power. He accidentally crushed himself and died. Gods can only be killed by gods, and crushing yourself is suicide. Suicide means to kill yourself, and as a god, suicide was possible. His followers, in mourning, sheared off the top of the rock so it was completely flat. They imported things from Cakara and the Central Lands, and soon it became a great trading port. Next, we've got the Central Lands. Bloody hell, my hands hurt tons from typing this much. Okay, so, around the Central Lands is a wall. The wall, called the Wall of Thorns, is 10 metres high and 4 metres thick. It's not very impressive, but it consistently wraps around the Central Lands like a skin, stopping any intruders. There are only four legal entrance/exit points. Port Thorn, Evermor, High Hill and Summer's End. There is, however, a break in the wall, a mile south from Dragonfell. Port Thorn is a large, illustrious city, home of the wealthy Blackthorn Family. Evermor is the Capital, where the World Throne sits, with high orange walls. High Hill is a warm, sunny place in the north, a pleasent place to visit on the coast. Summer's End is a cold trading port down south, twenty miles north of Dragonfell. Dragonfell itself is the Great Keep, Castle of the Ages, where the great dragon Liak met its end at the blade of Lord Helios Castellanos. The break in the wall is a serious thing, as the Lords of Dragonfell are commanders on the Wall.
