However, the seasons changed and it carried him back to his wintery castle. The wolf was now heart-broken, and she gave birth to a litter of cubs. Including one that would become the Big Bad Wolf. Watching his mother die of sadness, the young cub swore vengeance against the North Wind. Seven times the cub journeyed to the castle, but each time was defeated easily by his father. Having failed to taste vengeance, he swore to think of his dead mother or mighty father no more. So much that they were buried, hated, repressed memories.
