Once upon a time, there were two sisters. Lana and Muriel. They grew up loving each other, Lana was 17, two years younger then Muriel. However they both knew that Lana was adopted. They never quite knew the story behind the adoption. Their parents never bothered to tell and the girls never bothered to ask. One day the girls wandered out into the woods behind their house. Lana found a pool of glimmering jade water. She looked deeper into the water and noticed something spectacular. Her[SIZE=14.6667px] reflection rippled and then shimmered as it changed. Her yellow blonde hair shifting to a pastel lavender color and her eyes turning from sapphire to a deep amethyst. Lana's ears pointed like that of an elf in a movie or book and her freckles turned to bright silver. Then she slipped and tumbled into the pool. Muriel jumped in after her sister. She was hoping to save her from drowning. However the girls find themselves awakening in another world. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=14.6667px]The Faerie world is split into two sides, Lightwood and Darkhold. Each one balances the other. Without each other the world would be off balance. The Darklings provide nightmares, nighttime, and shadows to the human realm. The Lightlings provide good dreams, sunlight, and other forms of light to the human world. Each Kingdom is ruled by a Queen with a King by her side. The Queen of Lightwood is Saralyn, The Queen or Darkhold is Moralee. Each of the queens has a son, They are the balances to each other. Prince of the Lightwood is Soryn (age 19). Prince of Darkhold is Bowyn (age 17). Each kingdom has a protector, a Guardian, Guardians posses extraordinary power. The current Gaurdian of Lightwood is Alistair. The Guardian of Darkhold is Ordred. Each Gaurdian in turn has an Heir. The Lightwood heir is missing, but the heir's opposite is Cora of Darkwood. Every one can control either powers of light or dark. Those who are Lightlings fight with weapons made from light. Darklings do the same with darkness. All Feys can Skywalk which is basically running on air, similar to flying. Faerie pools are portals to the human realm that only appear on rare occasions. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=14.6667px]Tension between the two kingdoms is brewing and the two girls have fallen into it. Clearly Lana is a Lightling that was hidden the human realm and Muriel is simply a human. Both girls must find their place in the tension torn Fey world. They fall into the middle of the Darkhold. They are found by Prince Bowyn who locks them up and calls a meeting with Soryn to discuss their release. Soryn comes to the realization that this is their missing heir who could turn the tide of the war as Darkhold tries to over throw the power of Lightwood. While Muriel is trying to find her way home and struggles with being a human in the midst of Fey. [/SIZE]
