Max is a short, quiet girl, who prefers to keep to herself. She likes to keep herself busy, always looking for a problem to solve or something to do, though sometimes she'll bite off a bit more than she can chew. Even when she does get in over her head, Maxinne rarely asks for help, stubbornly working on until there are no other options.
Luckily for her, she's usually clever and determinded enough to get things done on her own, and even help others along the way. Because while she may have trouble working with other people, she cares deeply for others, and hates to see pepole hurting. She'll often be one of the first to offer to help, or, sometimes, just to be a shoulder to cry on.
Backstory:
Maxinne Winchester grew up in a small, crowded house with barely enough room to fit everyone. Her family shared the small house with another family, and together they all struggled to make ends meet and pay for the small place they called home. From a young age Max was helping around the house, at first doing small chores like washing dishes or taking out the trash, then, when she was old enough, getting a few part time jobs to help pay for the house. Between her work and school, the young girl rarely had time for anything else, and almost never had time to socialize with anyone outside of her own home.
On the rare occasion she had time to herself, Max loved to read stories about super hero's, both the fictional and the real deal. She dreamed of being a hero like those in her books, but with no powers and limited funds, that idea stayed a far away dream. Until one day, she got lucky. Some second-rate supervillan, boasting a bit of super strength, grabbed her in an alleyway. She felt a sort of spark run through her and, to both her and her attacker's suprise, this petite girl was suddenly able to match his strength with ease.
Using her newfound power she managed to get away, but as soon as the villain was out of sight, her powers had gone. Wanting to learn what she could do and follow her dreams, she ran away from home signed up to be part of a mystrio us experiment, hoping this would help her learn the secret of her powers.
