Personality: The first time someone meets Salt, they would laugh and say that her personality is indeed the same as her name. She's cold and distant and will only give short answers to almost anything. Salt have this strong look and sharp eyes that intimidate people most of the time, thus making her only have a small number of person that she doesn't even want to call "friends". She's very brave, more of reckless, and yet still mature enough to stop and think of what she need to do before actually hurt her self. Not a loud person, prefer to isolate her self in the observatory deck.


Background: Not much is known for her, as Salt her self is very private about her background. She born in a foreign ocean, on a ship during the storm. That's where she get her name 'Salt'. She doesn't really remember her parents, saying that she only know that both of them have been killed in an accident with the Royal Navy. Salt said that the one who taught her how to fight was some street kids that live near her home, children of pirates. Inspired by their tales of adventure that's brought to them by their parents, Salt is motivated to also go and see the world.

Personality: Avery is at first, a very shy girl, but once you get to know her she opens up and becomes really outgoing. The time she spends being silent is usually filled with small, comforting smiles; most of the time. When someone she cares for is in danger, Avery throws her own safety aside and protects them. She’s a hard worker, and loves what she does. As medic, Avery spends most of her time below decks carefully tending wounded shipmates, but when it is necessary, she will charge into a battle. Avery prefers to cause her enemies great pain and suffering, but let them live instead of killing them. She does this because she figured out that maiming someone once, becoming feared, and never being bothered again was better than just killing a rival. She pretends to be a boy to be accepted by her fellow crewmates. Another major aspect of her personality, is that she’s a real troublemaker.


Background:


Avery was born to a wealthy family; she had almost everything a child could want. Almost. The one thing she lacked was her father’s love. Her mother always took care of her, but her father disliked her immensely. When Avery was born, her father neglected her because she wasn’t a boy. He had wanted a son to carry on his legacy. Avery’s mother convinced him to let her keep Avery, but it didn’t last long. When Avery turned five, her father proclaimed that he was done sheltering her. He left her in the street one day, and never looked back. Avery’s chance of survival was little to none.


Miraculously, however, a poor sailor and his son found and adopted Avery. From them, she learned how to use a cutlass, a pistol, and how to treat all kinds of wounds. One day, a message was given to the sailor saying that all the young girls in the area were being taken away for work in the city. Avery’s adoptive father immediately disguised her as a boy to protect her. Avery lived as a boy for a long time and grew to become a strong sailor. On her first sail in a large ship, a storm broke out unexpectedly. During the panic on board, both her adoptive father and brother were thrown into the sea and drowned. Without the help of her family, Avery barely made it back to shore. After that incident, Avery wanted to become a medic to help others, because she couldn’t help her closest friends.
