Ahlat's Shaping Rituals

Ahlat offers her power in exchange for the traditional sacrifice of cattle, savoring their spilled blood and rewarding her with glory. The sorcerer may make a prayer roll (Charisma + Performance, difficulty 3 minus the Size of the herd of cattle sacrificed. Note that Ahlat does not reward simple prayers, the blood of cattle must flow to gain his favor.) seeking power from her patron. Success grants her sorcerous motes equal to (her Essence + extra successes on the roll). These motes last for the duration of the story, and can be spent towards any spell she casts. She cannot pray for power more than once a day, and receiving new motes replaces any granted by past prayers.

Ahlat delights in the clash of arms and the din of fighting. The sorcerer may pay a point of Willpower whenever she makes an Awareness roll to Join Battle. She gains one sorcerous mote for every two successes on this roll. These motes last for the duration of the scene, and can be spent towards any spell she casts. If she is joining battle for the purpose of stealing cattle, or as part of a Battle Group of at least Size 4, she also adds her Occult in bonus dice to the roll.

Items made by Quiet Falling Rain in sessions 1, 2, and 3.

1) a-frame Exceptional copper symbol of the Unconquered Sun to stand watch over Hazim's holy ground created by his mass sending.

2) A bracelet for Achieng with space for 12 charms, 1 charm created showing the defeat of the Ogre. Spun copper and Chiaroscuran glass

3-5) Shields for the party members. All exceptional. Each is Iron with bronze inlay, looking much like this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-44iK-W1jr...00/sun_disk_by_bulldoggenliebchen-d5b81eb.png

Achieng's shield when viewed in the right light bears the horned head of Ahlat, providing a +1 mundane tool bonus to Inspire Checks by those that would appreciate it.

Hazim's Shield, again in the right light, bears the Zenith caste mark overlaid on the already bright sunburst pattern, promising divine retribution on those who have angered the Sun and providing a +1 mundane tool bonus to Intimidation Checks.

Falling Rain's shield is just extra god damn bright, catching and pulling the light in an alluring way, gaining a +1 mundane tool bonus to Persuade actions where authority is a factor in the action.

The Iron Project:

14 Exceptional Iron Spears for the Village of Summer's Home

4 Exceptional Iron Swords for the Village of Summer's Home.

For Achieng - An Exceptional Reinforced Breastplate of Saffron and Lavender, bearing a leaping bronze tiger. An exceptional iron spear with his caste mark on the head in bronze.

For Hazim - An Exceptional Breastplate tinted Cobalt, with a Golden Bull emblazoned majestically. An exceptional cestus with bronze connectors forming a loose caste symbol.

For Rain - An Exceptional Iron Hammer with his caste mark on the flat of the hitting end and the name "Blood Red Sandman" etched into the hammer ends.
