You faker than some Sweet 'N Low
Ever After High: Rewritten
Everybody hates the first day of school, right? It sucks, even if you like school. Not being sure where your classes are, trying to get used to an all new dorm mate, realizing that this is the year that Legacy Day takes place. Celebrated every four years, this is the year that everybody inherits their destinies that their parents before them lived. For some students, this is an exciting year, a year that they've been waiting for their entire lives, but for others this is the year that they've dreaded ever since they could comprehend that their destinies weren't actually something that they wanted to go through with. Perhaps their "true love" doesn't line up with their sexuality, maybe they don't want to be a villian or damsel-in-distress, or perchance they just don't like being a side character, some of the future characters simply don't like the destiny they've been given. It's not unheard of, but the fear of disappearing if they refuse their destiny has always been enough to prevent them from not signing the book.
Oh, but you're not here to talk about the people who don't like their destinies, now are you? You're here to start your first day of school! Well, it's the perfect day to do that, too. Not too hot, pretty weather, just right for the first day of school. Nobody's actually gone inside yet, but that might be for the best. You never know when a certain set on Wonderland twins might have decided to set some elaborate trap up over the door.
