Espeon is, in fact, quite shy, though don't take those words as "Nice." Espeon is impatient, and can get quite snappy when his already short patience is maxed out, or when someone he doesn't like makes an attempt to talk to him. Until then, though, he's quite a quiet guy, who gets flustered over the words he says (which is also something that annoys him, but he's better at hiding that), and kind of panics when new people try talking to him. The festival held the day new recruits come in is practically hell for him, and nearly always sends the guy into some sort of panic attack.
