Futuristic Erasing the World

Underneath the city of Valion was an entirely different world. The city above was completely destroyed in the battle that sparked the entire world to fall into war and chaos. But survivors didn't want to just back down. They didn't want to see the world destroyed by its inhabitants.

Or that was how it was told. "The world is filled with blood-thirsty people and gruesome scenes everywhere. You need to be strong in order to stop that. You want to see your parents again? You want to see the sky again? Just cooperate, and that will automatically be fulfilled."

And that was all they knew about. They'd already seen the horrors of the world, and if not, they were told stories about that were actually not far from the truth. It was dark for mankind, and there was no hope.

But in a certain building, specifically the Gardein Building, dwells the hope that scientists have created, protect and safe until they were ready for what the world was to unleash onto them. They did not know of their true mission, or at least, not yet no one had figured it out, but they knew that they were to save the world from its doom at least.

That was their world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seya was curled up in the corner of her room, her teal-colored hair flowing down her back in messy wisps. It was morning, and today was the day they would come to check on her. She didn't want that. She didn't want to see them. She didn't want to go to the horror of the exam room. She hated it.
And the night before, she could barely get a wink of sleep. Terror took over her fragile mind and refused to move away, constantly reminding her of the people who thought it was pleasurable to cut into her skin with their blades and fill her lungs with burning, tasteless waters.
It was enough to drive her mad, but somehow, she had kept her sanity until this time. She wanted to see Mother and Father. Did they send her here? Were they okay with it--did they ask for this to happen to her? No...they would never do that, would they?
And as these thoughts swirled around Seya's mind, her ears caught the sound of the footsteps she dreaded this entire time and for most of her life. She wanted to disappear--it was okay if she wouldn't be able to see the sky. She could always see her parents in heaven, right? So it's okay...
"Seya," came a smooth voice, which caused her to look up with her puffy eyes that had been endlessly spilling tears for the past night. "Why don't you go to the breakfast lounge? It's been a while since you've been there."
Seya stared, but quickly turned and covered her face with her hands. "No..." Even if it was someone different this time, it was the same white cloak that was on his shoulders...he couldn't be trusted.
But after long moments of coaxing and soft encouragement, Seya found herself in the polished, yet somewhat blank room of the breakfast lounge. In one corner was a long silver table topped with the imaginable breakfasts of the world and right beside it was a large section with a wide variety of drinks. The ceilings were also white and clean, lined evenly with silver lamps hanging above each table. Some where shaped so that it would serve one or two people, and others were elongated so that a party of 20 people could sit at one table as well.
She felt a bit out of place with the others around--they were dressed neatly and fashionably while she wore a dark, tattered dress and the simplest slip-on shoes. But what overwhelmed her the most was the presence of other people around her. Though they didn't have that white cloak, she was still terrified of them--they were surely on the scientists' side--they would never help her. Even though the area wasn't that crowded, it still sent a wave of panic through Seya.
"Where are the others?" asked a supposed college as he approached the man that brought her to the lounge.
"They should be here soon--they'd be hungry by this time since we're not bringing them breakfast this time. I don't know what the Head is thinking, suddenly giving them a day to roam around the building. Is he drunk?" the man grumbled.
"All the labs are locked, correct?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah, all of 'em."
"Then it should be no problems even if they walk around."
"Still...I mean, he let them go really free this time--they were usually confined to the G floor, but suddenly they're allowed access to the whole building? I'm still wondering if that guy's a whacko."
"Shh, they'll hear you. Just go with the flow and everything should be fine."
And with that, the two men exited the room, leaving Seya on her own. And in less than a minute, people in the lounge began to file out like it was an order, and she was now truly alone. Unable to think of anything else to do, she sat at the very corner of the room next to a window that gave a view of the outside world, but Seya knew that it wasn't the case. It was the technology--the window was there to create the false image of an outside world--Seya knew they were underground, so times like day and night couldn't be seen in this world.
But the scientists did a pretty good job with simulating it--people in Yunder, the underground city, just lived through everything like nothing was wrong, and that they were truly living in their normal lives, but war raged up above. It really did look like everything was peaceful and normal from one's perspective.
But that was far from the truth.
[sorry for the wait, everyone! I have a feeling this might not help anyone in creating their own post--sorry if this is a bad intro! Anyway, it's finally started! I can't wait to see what everyone writes!]
Juby
tumblr_mmedc5TsUp1sqo5zio1_250.gif
Juby had long since grown accustomed to hustle and bustle of the scientists and workmen. he could even hold conversations
with them, whether it be in passing or while he was being poked and prodded. what he was not accustomed however, was not being brought his breakfast or woken by the constant murmur of voices.
A shock of green was suddenly visible as his eyes creaked open. The lights were not on in his room but the small clock told him it was indeed 'wakey-wakey' time. With a barely audible groan, Juby rolled himself off the bed, onto the floor and all the way to the door before standing. He took only a moment to fix his pajama bottoms (they had gotten all twisted) then opened the door to step out into the barren hallway.
He was, to say the least, amazed at the lack of personnel. His eyes wandered from side to side as he worked his way to the Breakfast Lounge, pale fingers attempting to calm the mass of bedhead. he entered the lounge with a loud yawn, stretching like a cat to work out the knots in his back.
When Juby's eyes opened again, they landed on Seya. he took notice of the way she looked frightened and decided to be cautious in approaching her. Instead of walking directly to her, he made his way to the table and poured himself some coffee. he held the cup close to his chest, like a lifeline, and turned around, leaning on the table.
"Good Morning." He nodded at Seya, before taking another sip of coffee while a content smile lit up his features.
Luci
tumblr_mjza90Um9j1r6syygo2_250.gif
Luci was in a good mood. Not that she wasn't always but this mood was better than normal. When she woke up, she realized her bed hadn't been broken by her fitful sleeping, nor had any scientists come in to watch her. generally she didn't mind their company, enjoyed it even. But when she first woke up in the mornings she was always disoriented and having men in white lab coats taking notes or poking her at 6 am wasn't pleasant.
This morning though, Luci could
feel the good air. But she wanted to test it. Slowly and ever so gently, she placed her feet on the ground and stood up. Then with the lightest of stomps began tapping the floor. when the floor did not crack or even shiver, she squealed quietly in joy.
When she flung open the door, it didn't go crashing through the wall and right back again. It stopped and stayed open and "watched as Luci scurried excitedly from the room towards the enticing scents of
breakfast. Nothing was going to get in the way of her good mood, not even the one thing that could make her feel sour.
Her chub.
Speaking of, she made a small affirmative noise to herself, like a promise to avoid any foods that would increase her weight.
A dieting fourteen year old! She thought, How ridiculous!
Maya Miles
Maya was awoken by her own morning wake up call. Bascially, her body waking up and telling her to get out of bed. She sat up, hair sticking out everywhere and eyes gleamed over. Her mind wasn't yet awake so she wasn't the happiest person in the world. She wiped her eyes and got rid of the hair that littered her face, attempting to straighten it out with her hands, but failing. The window simulated that it was very early morning, the normal time she wakes up.
"Atleast I didn't die in my sleep." She joked, getting her usual positive vibe back.
Maya took a quick, short shower, got dressed in her usual clothing, a white button up shirt, light brown sweater with a red skirt, leggings, and boots. It takes awhile to get all dressed, but there are some things that she'd rather not show her friends they lay on her skin. She quickly dries her long brown hair quite painfully. Her hair doesn't like cooperating so early in the morning.
"Oh well, it's not like I'm trying to impress anyone." She spoke, ever so slightly lying to herself.
She shrugged off the comment she made with a giggle, walking back over to her bed and sliding her guitar out from under it and starting to play a
the she developed out of pure boredom and slight insperation.
Suddenly, she her a quiet, polite knock on her door and she stopped playing immediately, hidding her guitar under her bed once again.
"Come on in!" She said happily, putting a smile on her face.
A man in a lab coat came in and told her htat she had been late to breakfast. Her eyes widened slightly before letting out a nervous laugh.
"Haha, right! I appologies greatly. I seemed to have lost track of the time. Thank you very much for informing me." She said surprisingly polite.
Maya quickly got up and reported to the dining hall. She understood why she put her at the top of the 'apartments' but it did tire her, knowing how much time it takes just to get down to the bottom level.
Once she finally did arrive at the breakfast lounge, most, if not everyone, was already cleared out and gone to do hatever they were assigned to do. She entered cautiously and saw a girl in the corner. If she remembered correctly, her name was Seya. She didn't see her that often but Maya knew just about everyone's name and can put them to a face.
Maya quickly grabbed her food and sat down across from Seya.
"Hey Seya! Fancy seeing you here, huh?" She asks happily, trying to cheer up the girl from whatever sadness she was facing.
~~~~~

Saul Distor

Saul her soft knocking on the door. He wasn't up and about yet so he could only mumble a raspy, "Yes?"

A man in a lab coat came in and told him kindly to get up and get to the breakfast lounge, which he obliged. Although, after the man left, he remained in bed, trying to get together why he should go down there. He wasn''t all that hungry since he just woke up and his brain hasn't processed if he actually was or not.

'Oh well...' He thought, forcing himself to sit up and sloppily stretch before standing.

He didn't care if he showed up looking like a hot mess, all her wanted was his pen and notebook, which he immediately did. His latest sketch wasn't even close to done. He was going to make a gun that shot out steel bullets and see how it worked. He had to draw the rest of the appearance of the gun and also draw the inside of it to show the mechanics adn how it would function.

'It's sad that I have to do that with every single one or else it wouldn't work.' He thought, runing his hand through his hair and opening the door, trudging down the millions of steps just to get to the breakfast lounge.

Once he finally reached it, he noticed others there already.

'It's to late in the morning to conversate...' He thought, wiping his eyes and sighing lightly before entering and grabbing food, sitting down at a comepletely empty table away from the others and started drawing once again.

"Come on, time to get up." Jared whispered softly into Olivia's ear.

He was usually up quite early, making very sure that if any of the scientists came in that he could be there to watch over his sister. When he was comfortable with the fact that no one was going to interupt them, he walked into the bathroom to clean himself up whilst Olivia struggled and rolled out of the bed. For such a pretty girl, she was a real mess in the mornings, though she always had a smile when she walked up beside him to brush her teeth.

"Hey.." She half whispered, half croaked, a few stray hairs swishing across her face.

Jared nodded and grinned a little, continuing to brush his teeth and brush his own hair back a little.

"Good sleep?" He asked, laying his head back as to not spill and toothpaste.

"Hungry sleep.." She chuckled, a small amount of foam around her mouth.

"Best get you some food then." He spit into the sink and turned around, closing the door on her so he could get dressed in private.

The two had a routine of sorts, each knowing when to enter and leave the bathroom, when to leave the other to their privacy, and soon found themselves waiting for a breakfast that didn't seem to be coming.

"This is getting stupid," Jared spoke in a frustrated tone, opening the door and peaking out, looking from side to side, "Come on, let's go get you some food."

Olivia smiled and followed close behind, still dressed in her nightwear that consisted of a tight vest, and some very baggy pijama bottoms covered in squares. She also wore her black jacket, covering herself up a little more, her hands pulled into the sleeves as if they were hiding away.

Jared walked around another corner to yet another similar looking corridor. White. Clean. 'Perfect'.

'They' had given him a fair choice of clothing, but as usual didn't care for any of it and wore the first thing his hand grabbed out. A pair of tight, grey jeans, along with a baggy blue hoodie and a black and bright green t-shirt. The only thing he took care putting on were his favoured grey-ish blue converse, they were a little tattered in their age but they still served their purpose.

Olivia walked closely beside him, a small smile across her bright face.

The two finally made it to the dining hall, Olivia looking around at a few of the other people, Jared just walking straight in and grabbing a tray. He swiftly picked out some quick to eat foods, and walked over to sit at the end of the large table.

Olivia took her sweet time, finally picking out some hot food, and walked over to sit opposite her brother.

Seya was in her own dark thoughts when a friendly 'good morning' and a bright greeting broke her thoughts. She flinched, an instant thought of scientists greeting her entering her mind. But that wasn't the case--it was two others who seem to be different from the people who worked with the scientists.

No lab coats, no uniforms...who were they? Of course, she'd probably met them already before once, but she couldn't remember. With her paranoia all over the place, sometimes she even forgot how to speak.

"G-Good morning," Seya murmured, her voice starting to warm up. It had been raspy and choked up that morning, as tense as she'd been, but the people around her seemed to want to do no harm to her. She was staring down at the floor, but she hesitantly glanced upwards to take a quick look at the ones who took their time to greet her.

Seya gulped down most of her anxiety and took a breath before forcing herself to lift her head. It was rude to the people who were talking to her. She knew that. "H-How was your s-sleep?" she stuttered, and then immediately looked away, her shy features taking over. She couldn't speak to people normally at this point.

But Seya wanted to make friends this time. The last time she had met someone, she had been so reserved that they'd lost interest in speaking with her. Seya had no idea of their whereabouts now, and she hadn't seen the person since that time when they spoke to her.

However, Seya was determined to make this time different than the last--she will make friends no matter what.

But her shyness was the issue at the moment.

[sorry for the late reply! >.<

@Genieva Von Bubbles - @Princess Ktyria ]

Zero was in the lowest section of the base section z in containment cell 00 he was considers a threat to the other subjects and living things to the base so he was on 24 hour watch right now he was in his cell singing a little nursery rhyme that he made up well he didn't make it up the other downed did and she taught him it was mor demented than anything though. So after about three hours he was sitting in the corner in a fetal position when a scientist came in with four armed guards all with high caliber weapons and they were all pointing at him the scientist said.

"Subject 00 get up your finally leaving your cell for the first time in 6 years so be grateful"

Zero was smiling and said "thanks I alway wanted to leave this room it's to covered in blood"

And the scientist looked at him and said "this is your doing and come on"

Zero came to the scientist and soilders slowly and something was put on some cuffs that sealed his abilitie so he wouldn't try to use his powers to escape like last time in the old sector that was closed to damage. As soon as the hand cuffs were on a buzzing sound could be heard that was zeros powers being suppressed and they walked out of the room. And zero was humming the song again when a guard hit him and said.

"Shut it your under strict watch witch means no talking, and no touching to anyone that's not a subject do you have that 00"

Zero looked at the guard and said "ok ok damn"

Zero was brought to a all white room where there were five more people the guards wanted to show the other subjects not to mess with 00 and said.

"All subjects do not mess with 00 here is a extremely dangerous and extremely volatile person so anyone that puts him on a rampage will be dealt with severely do you understand"

After he was done speaking the guard slammed zero on the ground and the other three held him still while they were taking off the cuffs and backed away aiming all high caliber guns at him and exited the all white room. After they left zero said.

"Fumu your no fun" and smiled dementedly

Zero looked around the room and saw a couple more people and smelled the air and it smelled disgust so he just stayed on the ground and started humming again.

@Princess Ktyria @RainbowStars

How was that *nyaa*

Maya Miles

Maya heard the girl respond politely which made her smile even brighter. She was about to speak until she heard Seya speak as well. She was surprised to hear her use a conversation starter. Since she had never really seen her around, she thought that she'd be completely closed off. She did stutter but that was her being shy, which Maya honestly found adorable.

'Well you thought wrong.' She thold herself jokingly.

"My sleep was fantastic!" She lied, still pulling off that it was great, "What about you?"

She seemed earnestly interested, actually caring what her response was. The girl seemed very peculiar as well, in a good way. She liked her blue hair and the way she acted. Both brought character to her.

Maya took a bite out of her food and quickly drew her attention to the others in the room and then back at Seya.

'Seems that others come late as well.' She thought, relieved that she wasn't the only one.

There were three boys and two girls in the room that she hasn't spoke to in awhile. One of them was the boy that lived right next to her who seemed immersed in his drawings, the two brother and sisters that she had never seen seperated, and the youngest that she knew, Luci, as well as the super fast guy, Juby.

'I'll talk to them a bit later, once I finish talk to Seya.' She told herself, already making a plan for what she's going to do.

Alice had been awake long before the pale artificial lights had illuminated the walls of her room. She hardly ever slept these days, the way her lungs kept her awake. Sometimes she would struggle to breath the air of the compound, how sterile it was. Clean, sure. Healthy, probably. But it had no soul, nothing even reminiscent of the chaos of nature. Grey walls, tiled linoleum on the floor and a steel sky ever since she was eight. Or was she seven when she was taken?

Alice sat on the floor of her room, her bony knees pressed to her flat chest. Her red hair was simply parted, the tips of her hair falling into gentle blonde curls that trailed an inch below her shoulders. The bones in her legs sometimes felt sharp, so she was wearing her usual padding. Two pairs of tan leggings, followed by a pair of trousers two sizes too large and a red skirt. On her torso, she wore a long sleeved black shirt further layered with three t-shirts decorated with swirly drawings that she had created in her more boring hours. Her clothes were tactical, an attempt to trick the viewer into believing that what laid beneath were the growing arms and legs, developing breasts and rear of a girl in the height of puberty and not a skeleton.

The girl was sitting on the floor, humming when the knock came. She had assembled a small tower of dust, delicately moving the fluff with her powers. She could move things mentally much more specifically than she could physically, but flinched when her door opened and the scientist spoke to her,

"82. It's time to eat."

"I'm not hungry."

"That's an order. Your caloric intake has been particularly insufficient this cycle."

"I ate last night. I cleared my tray."

The Scientist turned and left, but left the door open. Slightly annoyed, Alice stood and left the room. She walked slowly, running her hands against the wall and humming to a slow rhythm. When she entered the dining hall some nausea struck her, as it always did. The scent of food had always disgusted her, though she piled a stack of breakfast food onto her tray. She sat down with Seya and Jubi and Maya, all people that she liked. She liked most of her fellow subjects, though she found herself annoyed by many of the more aggressive members.

Alice looked around and smiled, but didn't speak. She much preferred to let people approach her on their own terms. The girl hummed ever so quietly, a small smile on her face.

[sorry, I'm switching computers at the moment because this one is acting up--I might even go mobile. >.> Either way, I will reply to whoever my character is interacting with soon--sorry for the delay! I will be back on in a couple of minutes. :3]

Olivia looked over longingly at the larger group of people, secretly wishing her brother would want to go over, but she knew he wouldn't. Jared always liked his own space, but he didn't mind her being around..and she was so thankful for that. She couldn't do it alone.

"Why don't you go talk to them?" Jared spoke softly, then took a bite out of a bright red apple.

"N-nah..I'm all good sitting here with you!" She hid behind a fake smile and a blush of her cheeks.

Jared knew it wasn't a real smile, she was a terrible liar. Why was she even trying to hide it? He didn't understand why on earth she'd want to go and talk to them. It's not that he particularly disliked any of them, he just didn't see a purpose in talking to them.

Yet he still felt a tinge deep inside..guilt, maybe?

He looked around the room, some new people had entered. 'How many of us are there?' He thought to himself, finding himself slightly curious.

He then turned back to his food, any trace of curiosity forgotten. 'No. It doesn't matter.'

Jared took another bite of his apple, and lost himself in thought once more.

Olivia continued to stare at the group out of the corner of her eye, taking a strip of bacon and nibbling at the end of it, not wanting to annoy her brother anymore.

There were still more coming in, more..kids! Because that's all they were at the end of the day, kids missing a childhood.

Saul acknowledged the others in the room but mostly payed attention to his drawing. Small chatter spreading around the room which started to disturb his ability to draw. When he heard someone speaking to everyone, he looked up, seeing Mason. He gave a quick nod and went back to his drawing.

'Just focus.' He told himself.

Saul attempts everytime to block the extra noise but often fails.

'Sometimes I wish I had the skill to manipulate sound...' He thought, quickly taking it back, "No, never mind. This skill is just fine.'

Saul remembered his friend that he can make. 'Maybe I should just focus on remaking him...?' He thought, slightly intrigued at the idea of doing so.

Zero got up and didn't even bother to look where the food was and looked around and all he saw was a plain white room with nothing but white.

Zero thought "white white white! That's the only color hear damn"

And all of a sudden the voice popped up in his head saying "then why don't you just paint it all red and It'll be better right" the girls voice had a killing vibe.

Zero said out loud "no go away you I'm not listening to you dumb ideas" and ignores it until the voice gos away and looks around.

He sees a table with two people at it a boy and a girl and walks over to it and sits down and says "hi I'm zero what's your name" with a smile on his face that looks demented.

@StoneyJr

The pair both looked up at the newcomer, almost in sync. Jared stared at the boy intensely for a few seconds, not quite sure what to make of him, making a mental note of his name but not responding. Damn people would never leave them alone for long, would they?

He looked back down at his food, wondering how long it would be before he could leave.

Olivia smiled nervously as she looked over at Zero. His smile was..unnerving to say the least, but she didn't want to come across as rude.

"H-hey!" She wasn't expecting to be thrust into conversation, but tried her best to roll with it none the less, "My name's Olivia! And this is my brother, Jared."

Olivia soon found her fingers twiddling around, spinning her half eaten piece of bacon around as she awaited his response.

Seya smiled softly as she listened to the people around her. Maybe everyone wasn't evil...but a lot of them were. She was terrified of the thought that the scientists would come in and ruin the nice mood of the morning, but with everyone else, she felt...comfortable for the first time in her life.

"C-Can I be your...." Seya stopped for a moment, wondering if she was being weird. For some reason, she was self conscious, and it surprise even herself. But there was no time for hesitation--she would have to swallow her fears sooner or later, and this girl seemed to be the best person to start with. "Your...friend?" Seya finished softly, as she had begun to become shy again.

But it left her with a satisfying feeling--she had said something today. She was taking a step towards something brighter. Seya felt rather refreshed, but her inner darkness was was kept her from rejoicing openly.

Seya glanced around the room, and she felt an urge to just...be friends with everyone. Just within seconds of talking, Seya suddenly felt lighter. Was it because of the girl's aura? She had no idea, but for a few seconds, her fears had gone away. So, perhaps this was what is was like to talk with people?

But another thought came up--what if they were faking? They could take advantage of her--she was a weak failure, destined to die alone with the most shameful death. It was her fate, almost, like she had been born to be like this. No one would want to be associated with a failure to humankind.

Seya knew why they were here--they were going to remake the world. But what could she do? She can barely speak. A gloomy aura came upon her like a thick storm cloud that seemed stubborn enough to stay and pour its contents for the next thousand hours.

Looking at everyone else here, Seya couldn't help but feel out of place. She knew that each and everyone one of them were special and were of use to the scientists--they could do something about...well, whatever they were designed to do. But as for herself, Seya wasn't anything. She couldn't do anything. What was her purpose?

Again, Seya could feel something swirl within her--and that set her into a panic. It was the same feeling that came when a scientist would enter her room--she would always end up fainting, then wake up with restraints on her. But that wasn't what scared her--it was the eyes of those around her. The people around her. The ones that enjoyed pressing a cold blade to her skin and drowning her in nothingness.

"Sorry," she choked, standing abruptly from her seat. "I....need to go...bathroom..." With that, Seya dashed from the breakfast lounge and burst into the hallways, closing the doors behind her.

She moved away from the doors and held her head with both hands, taking deep breaths to calm herself down. No one would want to be friends with her when she was like this. There was no way.

Seya leaned against the wall, sliding down until she was sitting, curled up with her knees to her chin. She still felt that swirling sensation inside her.

She's just have to stay away until it passed.

[sorry, that took far longer than I expected...but I'm back! At least for the next 20-30 minutes. xD

And don't first anyone can role play even if I'm not here! :3 and thank you for all your posts--they're all really great! It's making me enthusiastic~ XP]

Vince

Pure hatred. That was all vince felt as the steel held his hands away from him. They were told he was not to be trusted, and this metal cage was an apparent security measure. He couldn't reach the door, and the only way he was getting out of here would be if someone killed the two guards and broke his chains. But if someone tried that, they'd probably be leaving in a body bag. Oh what he'd do to make a friend, if only he had the strength to pull these dammed restraints from the breaking wall. He had heard there were others like him, and he hoped they were better off than he was. He was just a corrupted freak of nature, with a revolver in his jacket and ammo in the other, he would have been out of here, but scientists aren't stupid, so they hid his revolver from him.

(Sorry I hadn't posted before this, I hope this is a good enough length as well, as doing this on iOS is quite irritating.

Maya Miles

Her attention was drawn to the girl when she spoke again.

'Friend? I thought we were already.' She thought, but decided to clear it up, "Of course! Forever and always." She told her, feeling ever so slightly giddy inside.

She positioned herself to be able to only look at the girl. Maya had heard that the girl can read minds, so she figured that she had already read her mind and knew that she meant no harm.

Right when she was about to say something, Seya appologiesed and ran to the bathroom. Maya's eyes widened slightly.

"Okay! I'll still probably be in this room when you get back!" She said to no one in particular since she had already left.

Maya looked at the newcomer that she had never seen before. It immediately piqued her intrest and curiosity. She stood and walked over to the tabel, sitting down next to Zero and smiling politely at all of them.

"I appologies for interrupting, but I couldn't help but notice a person i haven't seen before!" She exclaimed a bit to happily.

She laughed a bit before saying, "I'm Maya, pretty much an animal with rabies when I activate my power." She seemed completely nonchalant when she said it.

Maya hoped that he didn't find it weird. Even if he did, it's not like she could change it. She didn't like the power much herself, but what could she do?

Saul Distor

Saul couldn't focus after a bit so he decided to actually eat. Even though he wasn't hungry, he always did become hungry later on so forcing it wouldn't do much harm. After he ate what he wanted, he looked around, spotting Mason. He had always wondered about his skill that impressed him greatly. Saul decided to stand and go talk to him.

"Is this realistic?" He asks with his normal emotionless voice.

He showed Mason his
drawing. It wasn't close to being finished. He didn't have all of it drawn or colored in but he thought it looked kind of okay.

Olivia couldn't help but feel overjoyed when yet another person came over and started to talk, an overwhelming smile crossing her face as she looked over. She hadn't seen this girl around much, but she knew enough to know that her name was Maya.

She didn't speak up just yet, as Maya had obviously been directing her conversation towards Zero.

Jared let out a small breath of air through his nose, then proceeded to close his eyes, hoping to drown out the sounds of these people from his mind. He was starting to become frustrated, but Olivia seemed to be enjoying herself...

He took another bite of his apple, then placed it down on his tray, pushing it aside and crossing his arms on the table so he could bury his face. He still felt that twinge of guilt, bubbling up inside of him..Olivia was genuinely enjoying herself, and...was he ruining it?

Jared looked up, placing his chin on his arms and looked over at the girl who'd joined them, attempting to force a smile. He saw out of the corner of his eye, Olivia's face lighting up just a little, and just like that the guilt was gone. He couldn't help but smile for real.

With a small chuckle, Jared hopped up from his seat and took his tray over to a couple garbage cans and disposed of the remainder of his food, then slipped his tray onto the counter and started walking back over to the small group.

"Hey Livvie, I'm gonna go grab something from our room, you stay here talk to these guys if you want." He patted the top of her head, then started walking off, "Won't be long!" He waved as he walked out of the room.

Before Olivia had the chance to respond, Jared had left, leaving her a slightly nervous wreck with Zero and Maya.

She started twiddling her fingers around again, starting to look down at the table. She was starting to feel frightened again...

As Jared closed the doors behind him, a small smile still on his usually serious face, he noticed a girl curled up against the wall. Sayo..no...Seya wasn't it?

Whilst he didn't exactly want to befriend people, he wasn't so coldhearted that he'd just leave a crying girl in a hallway on her own. So, somewhat reluctantly, he walked to the otherside of the hallway opposite her, and knelt downa little, leaning his back against the wall.

"Are you doing okay there, Hun?" He asked softly, sincerity in his voice.

Luci

Luci had made a beeline for the table of sweet breakfast foods, squealing in delight over the spread. She hopped from one foot to the other, unsure of what she wanted to eat. So instead she turned and watched the others in the room. When her eyes landed on a mess of brown, she frowned a bit and looked past it to the others conversing.

If there was one person Luci could say she disliked it would be Juby. He was lazy and on occasion rude and more often than not was the cause of her losing her glasses. The table where the twins sat was occupied by a small group and she was going to make her way over there when an extended drawing caught her attention.

It was Mason and Saul. Luci liked Saul's drawings at least what she had seen of them and Mason seemed like a very nice man so she worked her way to them instead two donut holes that were quickly snatched, in hand. Powdered of course.

She stopped a few feet away in case she wasn't welcome and called; "Morning to you both! Would you mind if I joined you?" She held out the donut holes as an offering but her strength chose that moment to act up and she crushed them, sending powder everywhere including all over her face.

"Well fudge!"

Juby

Juby chose not to verbally greet the newcomers to the small forming group but merely nod, much like Alice had. He watched the interaction between Maya and Seya, pleased. He knew Seya was a nervous nilly and when the girls agreed to be friends a small sigh slipped out.

That was good. It was important that the group had bonds.

However, he damn near spilled his coffee when Seya ran past him. A grunt of discontent was the only noise he made to signal his distress. Soon after Maya left to greet the twins and Mason struck up a conversation with Saul, Juby sat down beside alice and spoke quietly over the lip of his mug.

"Crazy morning huh. A lot of free reign and all the scientists acting jittery. Anyway, did you sleep well?"

@Porgongo

Seya was drowning so deeply in her own thoughts that she didn't even notice the doors open. But what brought her out of her own world was a voice who called her 'Sayo' at first, though it was corrected immediately afterwards. Seya would have laughed and giggled and all those girly things, but right now wasn't the time to enjoy herself like that.

She flinched again, but managed to regain her composure to a certain degree. She lifted her head, her eyes glittering with caution as she gazed at the one who had called out to her. At this time, he had already leaned against the wall opposite of hers and slid down. It looked like he was staying for a bit.

But Seya stared at the male for a while, barely registering the question he asked her. When she did come back to her senses, she hid her face in embarrassment. "Ah..I didn't feel good," she replied, her voice muffled behind the hands that covered her face. "What about you...?"

Seya took a deep breath, gathering her courage again and slightly moved her fingers apart, peeking at the person before her. The dark, swirling sensation was starting to subside a little, and Seya was able to relax, even if it was for a moment. Again, she felt a small spark of joy come up from within her--she had managed to say something without stuttering as terribly as she used to.

It seemed like that friendly girl from the morning really did work wonders--she'd gotten rid of almost half of Seya's terrible stuttering habit. And this thought was what gave Seya another pinch of courage, and though her hands were still around her face, they moved to reveal more of her pale skin and blue eyes. For some reason, a smile tugged at the edges of her lips at the sight of someone who spent their time to speak with her.

Is this what it's like to talk to people? Seya wondered silently, her eyes taking in everything of her environment, including the boy in front of her. She barely left her room, and for the halls to be empty without any staff--that was something that should be written in a history next book. With them gone, Seya felt much more safe and easy with her emotions. With a small, nearly unnoticeable smile, Seya cast her gaze downwards.

@StoneyJr

Jared cocked his head to the side slightly, not quite sure if she was upset, or telling the truth about not feeling well. Finally, he decided to believe her story, and sat down completely, one leg outstretched into the hallway, the other bent up to his chest on which one arm was resting.

"It's not me I was concerned about." He spoke softly still, his serious tone dwindling to one of concern, "Your name is Seya, correct? Sorry for not remembering, but I am not usually one for conversing, you see."

Jared felt slightly bad for not being sure of her name, but also felt it justified as he barely knew the names of anyone in the damn place.

He looked away a little, and cocked his head to the other side, cracking his neck a little, and arching his back away from the wall and raising his hands above his head to stretch. Whilst he had gotten up early, he was still a little drowsy.

He let out a small groan as he rested back against the wall, his arms falling back into their previous position in his lap. His gaze slowly fell back on the girl in front of him.

@RainbowStars

Seya continued to watch the boy in interested, her eyes sparkling to reflect that. It was like a child watching a puppy play, though obviously there was nothing like that here. She blinked at the sound of his voice as it brought her out of her slight trance.

"Y-Yeah, I'm Seya..." Seya rested her hands on her knees, still watching the male in front of her. "It's okay...I don't know anyone's name...so..." Seya paused, wondering how it seemed so easy to talk all of a sudden. Suddenly feeling giddy, Seya smiled openly, a soft laugh escaping her lips before she put her hands on her mouth. "Sorry...um...Can I ask you for your name?"

Seya was about to add something else to defend her reason for asking such a question, but she was stopped by the sound of cracking. Her eyes widened in fascination as the boy stretched and listened closely to the sound that was emitted from him. It sounded like he just woke up, and at that, Seya found herself inwardly giggling at.

At the moment, Seya seemed like a child in a nearly-grown body. She hadn't felt this free in a while--she'd been always paranoid for the next second of her life that she never really got to enjoy...well, anything at all. And she became all the more delighted as she felt that dark feeling disappear completely.

@StoneyJr

Jared thought for a few seconds, still staring at Seya with interest.

"My name is Jared." He finally stated, "I would tell you my surname, but simply put, I do not currently have one."

He sat there for a good few seconds, looking down at the ground, unsure of what he could possibly say to her to try and make her feel even the slightest bit better, but he had to say something right? That was the social protocol?

The hell did he know about social protocol..

Finally, Jared let out a sigh and raised a hand to the back of his head, ruffling his hair around a little as he looked back up at Seya.

"So, are you planning on sitting here all day?" He asked, half jokingly, looking around the corridor, "I mean don't get me wrong, it's one hell of a...corridor..and all. But I wouldn't feel quite right just leaving you here, you see."

Jared hopped to his feet, walked a little ways towards her and bent down somewhat, holding an outstretched hand.

"So what's say we go find something to do, eh?" He smiled a little. He was a little self conscious of his smile, he didn't do it very often and thought it made him look a little...unnappealing.

"God I hate this place." Vince mutteredto himself, twisting his head side to side to stretch. He was so close enough to the door to hear scientists mumble as they passed by, mentioning things about other subjects. He didn't understand what they wanted. He was destined to kill people, get money and get out of sight, nothing else. All he needed was another subject to open his cell and open these steel bindings that kept him from understanding how he is like he is. It always seemed irritating that the scientists spoke as the walked by, saying about the names of other patients. If one of them passed his steel tomb, he could proceed with his escape.
