That's good of the forum. Since your email was given out, did one of the moderators contact you about it? Or was it just a concerned thread viewer?
I can't blame you for being annoyed. It becomes increasingly frustrating when people stick their noses into another's life-- especially, the more distant the relationship becomes. Whatever the case, I hope they got the hint through r/parenting, even if it's only for a while.
