A Jester in space
This is a plot themed in WWII.
Imagine it's 1942...
A British soldier has been left behind after Operation Chariot, and is forced to survive in German-occupied France. Within a week, the soldier is captured by the Germans, but after showing a young Nazi the horrors that his fellow men bring to France - and the rest of the world - the young Nazi undergoes a change of heart, and helps the Allied soldier escape.
Obviously, there are really only two roles:
The Ally,
and the Axis.
