    Nation: United Providences of Reisa
    Government Structure: Representative Democracy
    The kingdom of Reisa exists as the largest known kingdom in the world. Formed nearly 700 years ago, the providence had expanded to take up much of the Western portion of Aehenor. Acting originally as a loose alliance, the nations quickly formed a governmental body consisting of representatives from each city and village with larger cities being split into sections with representatives being selected for each section. Given the varied amount of villages and cities that make up the Providence, it tneds to be laxer in its laws relying upon a very basic penal code for its residence. Trade agreements between villages are designed to be kept fair. Its military acts primarily as a defense force for the nation, with its armed services restricted from being engaged upon cities in its own territory.

    The city of Reisa is quite lavish in its design having wide open streets. Its population is relatively low for a capital city with most citizens living within the smaller villages and cities instead. Due to the lighter regulations, many companies have set up their headquarters in the city. The variety of businesses has lead to the city to be considered by some to be 'the melting pot of the world'. While the city comes off peaceful, some more nefarious have started to unfold underneath the folds. With the governmental body having such a sway of power and a military force that has grown greatly, the Providence of Reisa has shown itself to be much more willing to go on the offensive rather then defend itself like it has in the past.

  • The Ebon Guard was created over a thousand years ago as a group of fighters charged with watching over the corruption and the Dark Witch. The group itself is relatively small in size functioning primarily as specialized fighters trained to deal with the corruption. During the long periods of peace, the Ebon Guard takes upon a more passive role, watching over the pillars and observing the Dead Lands (known to be the Witch's domain) to ensure no unexpected threat might befall the world.

    While susceptible to corruption like any other living creature, the Ebon guard have developed many specialized techniques designed to quarantine and contain any signs of corruption.They often minimize the spread and attempt to maintain order as to lower the damage it might be able to inflict. Unfortunately, the small size of the Ebon Guard limits their ability to be productive. They tend to primarily rely upon sending a few individuals to help advise others on what to do. Most of their forces are concentrated at Fort Black in order to ensure a full scale invasion does not occur with the Dark Witch's forces. .

    Fey
    The Fey are one of the oldest known Monster races as well as one of the more varied. Fey take on many shapes, able to appear as Tiny human like Fairies to giant walking and talking trees. The fey all are united being attuned to nature. Often times Fey are to be looked upon as spirits, given a physical form by the world.

    Fey tend to be generally passive, although they can become quickly aggressive to those who might threaten their domain. There are many types of Fey who have a more playful personality, often willing to play games with those who enter their domain whether they like it or not. Many times the games themselves can quickly turn deadly. Fey rely upon their natural abilities many times to protect themselves or to handle tasks. Those who might use spells will typically stick to nature based magic.

    Fey that have ebcome corrupted are know as the Dark Fey. Dark Fey are much more aggressive, seeking to kill anything that might attempt to enter their territory. While the more animalistic of the Fey will simply rip you apart, the ore intelligent will often toy with their prey, often attempting to mentally break those who they target developing a very strong sadistic and spiteful nature to them.

    Matheis Branswick serves as the head of the Senate in Reisa as well as the leader of the council of the magi for the Providence of Reisa. A rather well spoken man, he had established himself quiet early on as a talented wizard. It was through his efforts many improvements through the region of Reisa managed to be implimented improving its various trade routes between the villages. His experience in wizardry has also helped to lead to many efforts to be put into place to ensure the nations security from potential threats. Having sat at the head of the senate for nearly 8 years he has become one of the longest lasting leaders in the senate in the nations history.
