Personality: Raikou fits his name which is the Japanese word for lightning. He can be very flashy especially in his fighting but not so much in his clothing choice. His voice often ends up getting very loud like the clap of thunder, especially when issuing commands. He typically brings this air of energy that is known to charge those around him and supercharge who are already lively. He is able to galvanize others into action which is the core of his leadership ability. He is normally upbeat and ecstatic in that sort of lives and dies for his duty kind of way. He has this magnetic thing about him which can draw people to him but just as easy push others away.

History: Raikou can trace his roots all the way back to the fleet of warships that was the original Symphonia, least on his mom side. His father was a supernatural creature, called a Raiju, that migrated to Symphonia. The romance between Lieutenant Commander Sanderson and Chief Warrant Officer Kaminari is history. Raikou's father went MIA before he was born, the details known only to the Grand Admiral and 5 Star Fleet Admirals. His mother did a good job raising him despite the absence of his father. His mother fulfilled both roles which as far as Raikou could tell would have been the two simply alternating on tough pre education and pre training, the only difference would have been the nature of the two.

His mother sent him to an Officer Prep School where he would go to school for the next 12 years. He received instruction in inner energy Alchemy but found early on that Alchemy would not be his forte. What was mistakes initially for natural talent for Alchemy was actually Raikou's innate electricity manipulation abilities from being part Raiju. He would spend his years in the Prep School improving his electricity abilities among other things. He took courses studying swordsmanship including advanced courses in Iaijutsu and dual wielding. Naturally as part of the curriculum was military history, leadership, drill, and military strategy and tactics. He took some interest in Alchemy and science but not so much as he did with swordsmanship. At this Prep School he did well to hold leadership positions and by his final year held the position of Cadet Corps Commander.

This gave him a great resume and experience which lined him up to attend the Symphonian Alchemical Military Institute. He kept up his impressive track record through his time at SAMI. While at SAMI his ambitions, skills, and knowledge really began to grow. He also befriended the son of the current Grand Admiral, Cadet Sora Knightwalker. The two basically took over their class together with their other friends eventually snagging the top positions in the Corps their senior year at SAMI. Upon graduation, Raikou and Knightwalker both applied to become Elites. They already were commissioned officers from attending SAMI but they wanted the highest honor. They were exceptional enough as they became one of the few a Elite Ensigns as it's rare for someone to apply so early in their career.

Raikouken - This sword used to belong to his father. Apparently his father forged with lightning instead of fire. He can tell the weapon has some latent potential that he must unlock overtime. For now it does well as a reliable katana able to handle the full might of his lightning.

Weaknesses:

• Water in large quantities can be used to reflect his pure lightning attacks.
• Metal that can withstand his lightning can be used to redirect his pure lightning
• A faraday cage of sufficient durability can make his lightning useless
• He is only skilled with the use of his sword. If he is disarmed and forced to a different form of combat a specialist would easily overwhelm him.

Personality: Sanda always have the urge to help people in needs, he can't just ignore people in need even though sometimes he won't tell them that he's helping them but he will be happy if he can help.
