Answered Emojis in Statuses

I've always kind of wondered why the emojis show up on a person's profile/statuses themselves, but not on the homepage.


So instead of looking like this, on the status/ profile itself:


"Wow, Mass Effect: Andromeda looks like it's going to be epic!   :* "


It just looks like this on the homepage:


"Wow, Mass Effect: Andromeda looks like it's going to be epic!"


Not a problem or anything like that, I'm just curious. XD

It appears that no formatting whatsoever (including videos and pictures) shows up on the status bar.  The emojis are a part of that, so they don't show.
