Appearance:
Ellie is quite short, even among fellow Cait Siths, and has a petite frame to match. This often leads others to think that she's a child, which she has learned to bitterly accept. Her hair is dirty blonde -- although more towards the Brown side than Blond -- and reaches her shoulders, not that many would know as it's usually covered by a hood. Her ears and tail are white, but gain the same color as her hair closer to their tips, and her ears are Amber in coloration.
As Ellie isn't shy about her animalistic traits, her hooded robe has incisions to let her ears and tail out into the open, and her hood in particular has 'ear-hoods' sewn onto it, which cloak over her ears and reveal only their fronts.
Equipment:
Ellie wears a White Robe that extends all the way to the ground -- avoiding being dragged by mere centimeters. The cloak was a gift from her master, and has black triangles along its edge. Other than those, however, is is devoid of any design, and comes without any means of adjusting the width of its sleeve nor hood. Usually hidden within her cloak is a White Pendant, which came alongside her Wooden Staff as 'Graduation Gifts' when she ascended from apprenticeship as a Healer. Both the Pendant and Staff have been enchanted to increase the effects of Healing Magic, while her Robe has been enchanted to allow Ellie to receive Mana more efficiently. She also wears a leather belt which not only fastens her Robe in place, but also holds a small Dagger -- one that hasn't seen much use.
Under her robes, Ellie usually wears Simple Black Shorts and a White Tunic, as she's by no means rich. For footwear, she usually chooses to wear Leather Sandals.

Short History:
Ellie was born in the Slums of Holdgert in a large (note emphasis on 'large') family of Cait Siths with over 20 siblings and her parents still going at it like rabbits to this day. Due to the large amount of family members, her parents' naming sense had to get a bit... Different to keep up with all their children. For that reason, they started making names based off of letters -- starting at A for their first child, then going all the way to Z and back again. 'Ellie' was based off of 'L' for the 'Ell' part of her name, and as such, she received the nickname 'El' early on. As they grew up, her family stemmed into a wide variety of specializations, from Mercenaries to Black Market Dealers to Honest Merchants to Travalers. Ellie took an interested in the art of Medicine and Recovery, further diversifying the amount of metaphorical pies the Rjölett family had their fingers in. Ellie chose this particular specialization to aid the men and women of the Slums, who often didn't have the money nor the connections to have their wounds healed. Starting at the age of 5, Ellie self-trained herself in creating curatives; luckily, a couple of her siblings dealt with Potions, Herbs, and other such things, so she didn't have to worry about running out of things to experiment with.
At the age of 10, she became well known in the slums for her Potions, and eventually attracted the attention of a wandering White Mage. The Mage, being interested in her potions, came to her with an offer. If she taught him the art of medicine, he would teach her the art of White Magic. Gleefully, she accepted. Their pupil/master relationship lasted for 7 years before the Mage had completed his training as a Potion Maker, and Ellie only took one extra year of teaching to reach a level of White Magic where she could investigate the rest on her own. Like that, at the age of 18, Ellie became a White Mage.
Since then, Ellie has continued creating a wide variety of curatives (some imbued with the healing properties of White Magic) and honing her abilities, occasionally dabbling in odd jobs throughout the city, and sometimes away from it (usually for Commissions requesting things along the lines of 'services needed to heal x-and-x people in y village').
Extra:
- Despite being of eligible age for marriage child bearing, Ellie has never been involved with anyone romantically -- much to the chagrin of her parents.
- Although most Healers are worshipers of Iltia for her association with Peace and Light, Ellie is a follower of Wydos, believing that the pursuit of Knowledge as a Healer is far more important than Peace ever was.
