Bio: Liza was raised by her father, after her mother died from complications of childbirth. She doesn’t know a lot about her mother, because her father didn’t know very much about her. Her parents had a couple month fling that she was the product of. Her mother had hid the pregnancy but her father found out and fought to be involved.
Her father was a wealthy businessman, who she thought he bought out companies and broke them down into smaller subsidiaries. It wasn’t until she was twenty that she learned the truth… her father was a fixer for a lot of the politicians and other officials in D.C. They went through a rough patch, and she’d just started speaking to him again just a year before the explosion in D.C. She’s not sure if he’s alive or not, he was out of town on business so much it was a fifty-fifty toss up.
She was very successful in school, despite her father’s lack of interest or belief in education. She the challenge of it and when she and her father fell out she stayed completely on her dormitories. Growing up her father didn't have many friends and was very over protective so she led a very lonely childhood. Going to college and living there seemed to open up a new world of people
to connect with. She had one friend theoughout her required schooling school, Nikki, and the two became door mates in college. Liza had just finished college when the explosion went off, and now the world she thought she’d just figured out has been dumped upside down and she’s wondering what to do with it.
Personality:
Eliza was always very outgoing and playful, which always clashed with her father’s closed off nature. Ever since she realized her father was a completely different man than she thought, she’s become very distrusting of first appearances and struggles with not becoming too closed off. This has made her very cautious.
She’s very headstrong and often times she will stubbornly argue a point long after she knows she should have because she’s too prideful to quit. That being said when she’s been outsmarted, she grows a lot of respect towards that person.
She loves a challenge, and her prideful nature makes her very competitive. She loves to win like anyone else but she’s more excited by a good challenge. She isn't very fond of violence, thanks to her father's choice in a career, but finds her new powers are easily used for that, and this frustrates her.
When she’s invested so much time deciding whose what they say they are, she gets very protective of that person.
Powers: Liza's powers seem to be in tuned with beings in her environment.
Offensive power:
Animal mimicry, gives Liza the power to mimic the abilities, traits, and behavior of animals.
Defensive power:
Pheromone manipulation, she can control her own pheromones, the chemical factor that triggers social responses in species. She can use this to create natural suggestions to attract people, make them fearful, protective, ect. It only works when she's in very close proximity seeing as it's her own. I might change this one if you think it's too close to controlling stuff.
Movement power:
Flight!
Utility power:
Telepathy, she can tap into the thoughts of those around her, and when she uses it in combination of her animal mimicry she can tap into the thoughts of animals and understand them.
