Application of Intent to Retrieve the Stolen Princess

Your name? "I'm Elise Ibis from the Alchemist Guild." She introduced herself, smiling.

Your age? "Hmmm..." The young woman began to think. "Twenty-three." The scribe eyed at Elise's short stature, before jotting down that information with his quill. It was obvious that the scribe had doubts in her words.

Your height and weight? "Height and weight..." Elise pondered, her fingers stroking her chin. "I'm not sure what would you do with these information, but if you insist..." She then continued on. "I'm around 5 foot tall, roughly equivalent to 152 centimeters. My weight is around 101 pounds, 46 kilograms in terms of SI unit." The scribe once again jotted down the information in disbelief.

Did you bring a portrait? Good, give it here.

He sets the portrait aside and begins to write, curling the scroll over his leg as his eyes glance up at you now and again. It dawns on you that he is writing a description of how you look.

The person before me seems... "...somewhat composed. However, her demure appearance makes me wonder whether she's the right person to take on this ambitious job. She also seems kind of innocent as well. Her outfit nicely portrays her dainty build, which once again makes me doubt whether she will be strong enough to survive beyond the walls."

The colour of their eyes is... "Violet, like an amethyst. "

The colour of their skin... "Pale. She obviously lived a sheltered life."

The colour of their hair?... "Gray."

The quill is set aside, the scribe leans back. There is a shift in the air. A new line of questioning begins.

What motivates you to want to rescue the stolen princess? "Aside from obliging the King's call of assistance to save his beloved daughter, I was sent from the Alchemist Guild so that I can test out their newest inventions that might help our soldiers fighting against the monsters."

What makes you necessary for the success of this venture? "I possess a myriad of throwable flasks and potions that can cause noticeable damage to our enemies encountered during the rescue venture, especially our experimental explosive flask which explodes on impact." Elise then carefully took out a small vial that contains greenish fluid, showing the scribe before tucking away from his view. "I can replenish them using the monsters' remains and ichors, as well as other materials discovered in the ruins. Although I'm proficient in the more dangerous fields of alchemy, I also possess basic injury tending skills, such as sewing medium cuts and usage of splinters for broken limbs. I'm able to concoct basic salves that acts as a disinfectant and minor pain relief."

Your strengths and weaknesses, what are they? "As I mentioned before, I'm an alchemist that is proficient in creating solutions or materials that can harm living beings. Given the right materials and apparatus, I can lace my fellow comrades' weapons with a poison coating on their blades, or poison arrows to further deliberate our enemies, as well as other, more experimental weapons based on the monsters' attributes, such as their venom, claws, or fangs." At this moment, Elise sighed as she dwells on her weakness. "For my weakness, I think it's quite apparent. My short stature and build does not permit me to protect myself against a monster, let alone defeating one. As such, I require an escort to protect me, which I think it might be too much to ask should we get ourselves ambushed. Even though I have practiced with a wooden staff as a means of protection, I believe that it will not be enough to maintain my safety as well the others should the worst happens." She continued on. "Despite that I'm able to tend to the wounded, I'm not as skilled as a proper healer. I cannot fully tend to those who has major, life-threatening injuries."

Give me a list of your equipment and the beasts of burden you own. "A wooden staff, 7 vials of the explosive material, a field kit apparatus for concocting solutions, 3 flasks of Gallandaran cyanide for weapons, some bandages for first aid, a healing salve, a set of rugged clothing, some non-perishable foods and a tomb that contains numerous alchemy recipes. I also have a horse to aid me in travels."

Does your family line bear any significance?"My parents are competent alchemists as well, currently serving what's left of the Alchemist Guild when the other six cities were lost."

Abruptly, the scribe stands. Fanning out the scroll, he nods to the door in clear indication that you should let yourself out. “Thank you for your time. We will be sure to send for you if any further lines of inquiry arise.”
