Inquisitor Ordo Hereticus
General Information

Name: Eli Radcliffe

Codename: Vox

Appearance

(Searching for a good picture)

Background

Unlike the vast majority with Lightning Security Solutions, Eli was born with a chip on his shoulder - or rather, a chip wherever the corporate doctors had left the Redlines. He grew up in the middle of Djuke International, one of the most ruthless, powerful and haughty corporations in Imeria. In early testing, Eli was evaluated as possessing very high potential in thaumatronics, and was fast tracked very quickly.

It could have been a pretty plush life, with rewards for loyal and effective service. Could have. The thing with the ascending position was that it brought Eli into contact with the layers of information that other citizens lack. The stuff that penetrates past propaganda and shoved into Eli's face the true costs of the corporate hegemony. He realized he didn't want any of it.

It was over a year before Eli could actually do anything about it, given that he had to plan how to escape, where and when. Finally, it came with him maximizing the amount of time he could on accrued vacation time in the East Reach without Djuke authorities becoming suspicious, before outright wiping his Redline and showing up at a Lightning office. Here was one of the few places where he could let his skills align with his morality.

Alright, so some software options.

1. Parallel Processor - allows you to offload some simpler cognitive tasks to a subservient, truncated clone of your own mindstate. You can essentially let this handle calculations and minor programming/hacking tasks while you focus on something else, even leave it running while you sleep to puzzle something out. Gives you a reroll on a failed Interface roll.

2. Guard Dog - just a program to cripple the source of invading software.

3. Stun Gun - like the above, but gives Magi who try to tamper with you a crippling migraine.

4. Predictive Analysis Module - stores and collates tactical data (albeit temporarily if you don't download it to a storage device or get any extra one installed in your head), runs some calculations based on Vox prior experience and other datapoints to generate a model of enemy movement, firing lines, optimal engagement ranges, and so on. Adds bonus dice to to relevant Investigation, Admin, or Interface rolls.

5. Lockdown - basically a re-usable script-spell; temporarily shuts down thaumtronic machinery, especially vehicles, without proper protections.

6. Snowblind - like the above, this is akin to a chaff grenade; it can distort the tacstreams of enemy of soldiers to the point their vision is all static, effectively blinding them until the system can be restored.

Give me time and I'll remember some others I meant to offer, or pick any three now. Or if you have specific ideas for tools you'd like, lemme know.

Spend your next paycheque on it.

Or convince Commander Smoke to spend some of the ops budget for it.
