Eleanor has the pallor of one who doesn't get much sun, however she does sport a light smattering of freckles across her cheeks. She has long, dusty blonde hair that she rarely wears down, usually tied back in a tight bun or ponytail. Eleanor's most striking feature are her soulful grey eyes, framed with thick but pale lashes.
Her clothing choice usually consists of a simple tee-shirt and leggings or jeans, she sometimes throws on an oversized hoodie depending on the weather, she's never been known for her impeccable fashion sense.
Eleanor looks rather frail, standing at just over 5' with a petite build and an unhealthy lack of fat on her bird-like bones.

Eleanor is a very intelligent girl, with no social skills to speak of.
She has little understanding of social cues, and is known to spout random facts when nervous. She doesn't have many friends, her introverted and analytical demeanor has been known to scare people off. However, it is not to say that she is unfriendly. Eleanor can be shy and nonverbal at times, but she is a chatterbox when someone gives her the time to listen. She is not easily frightened, sticking more to numbers and facts than speculation and hopelessness.
Bio:
Eleanor was raised in a small town in Alaska, with a father who left on work trips often and a mother who preferred to leave the young DuMonte child to her own devices. While most would have been outside playing with friends, little Eleanor would be immersed in her books or experiments- Most of which involved her trawling through the woods by the playground and writing down everything she knew about the flora and fauna she came across. She was always a strange little girl, and when her teacher realized that she had excelled far beyond her peers academically.
Her first year in middle school ended on a poor note, with plenty of bullying. Eleanor never realized what was happening because she thought they were just being her friends. She also didn't really get involved with middle school drama and politics like most children. She was granted a scholarship to a school for gifted children for the rest of her middle schooling, and when high school rolled around it was a surprise for Eleanor to be transferred to Carmine.
She was of course in on a mathematics and science scholarship as she would otherwise never be able to dream of attending. Eleanor has always harbored a sneaking suspicion that she was sent to Carmine by her mother mainly due to the fact that she would not be at home.
