+Bio:
Contrarily to what his name would indicate (meaning, in the language of Rakkunians, "He who comes of the Eastern City"), the current emperor wasn't born in Edea. He's a native of K'naga, raised and taught tradesmanship in the heart of a family of merchants. Ever since he was a child, Edeos enjoyed the company of people from all walks of life and cultures. Never being a student, as it was common with semi-wealthy families, of personal tutors; he was accustomed since youth to the company of the diverse immigrant population in the colleges and city life he led.

Edeos had a natural talent for numbers and a personal fascination for history. It was common of him to stay indoors reading and writing throughout his adolescence, making him  deviant to most common leisure activities such as canoe riding and assisting to the many parties and festivals the city of K'naga held throughout the year. He found enjoyment in those, but his focus was on observing the many forms and joys people would have when engaging in them rather than participating himself; in exchange, he was keen and commentative. The sum of his oddities, however, led to to the alien personality that Rakkunians find particularily interesting. For better of for worse, awarness of this charm led Edeos to become a very cunning and devious person. Becoming a young adult, he was known to be partnered with many maidens of the city, brushing through all colors and creeds. Rumors had it that he also was particularily fond of compulsively eating crustaceans and, lessly known, an oddly lucky gambler.

He studied in Nefelicci to become a nautical tradesman, but he grew more interested in the workings of the economical system rather than participating directly in it. He developped, with the hiring of tens of sturdy continental guards, a gold storage system that exchanged notes in favor of material properties. Edeos would later develop this structure into the first private bank of Rakkunii, installed, quite to the jealousy of the merchant city of K'naga, inside Takkube. Upon returning home he branched the system in K'naga and, thanks to the widespread acceptance this system had, Edeos gained enough momentum to push his life into politics in the council of his home city. The climate, however, was harsher than he was accustomed;  he was put into the public eye, much to his discomfort, and due to his sudden entrance into the system without the faction-and-connection process that most other significant figures employed, he was often the direct target of counters and inspection.

Growing paranoid due to the extreme change his lifestyle went through, Edeos found ways to instruct himself in using military sabres. Becoming, little by little, more vehement and defensive, his character grew to become a matter of gossip. Saying he wasn't prepared for politics would be an understatement, but K'nagians found so much sympathy in his fits of passion that, almost as a joke, he was elected mayor of the city on the senate's rotation. It is said, with no one being able to dismiss the myth altogether from vox populi, that his antecessor Emperor Kamalinka, Mayor of Takkube, cracked in laughter when the new Mayor was announced and Edeos walked in the hall during his ceremony of comission.

It was then, however, that he had a change of heart. Now in isolation and some greater authority, he overtook major projects for the city. Edeos nationalized his bank, expanded the port and tried to increase the funding in education. This attempts were successful and, added to his exaggerated charisma, it gave him a now rational and calculating public image.

After the unexpected death of Kalaminka two years later, the councils passed elections between the mayors of Edea and K'naga, as it was custom not to hold two Emperors of the same city in a row. Edeos competed against a man named Waboka who, although a decent and sound politician, lacked the public image of his oponent. Edeos won by a landslide thanks to the cummulative votes of the councils of Takkube and K'naga. Waboka conceded the result, humourously resigned and gave his best wishes to whom he called the "Loudest man to hold the Crown." Edeos didn't take this comment all too kindly, but he appreciated the peaceful transition of powers; he thought to himself that, in a moment of mood, he might've not been as mature as Waboka.
