Now onto the part 'set in stone', please read below rules/guidelines as they're important and not like most/any others you've seen in Roleplays:

1) NO Acceptance/Approval needed once the character sheet has been created

2) Character Death Inevitable if your character sheet is unacceptable in following ways:

* No effort put into it

* Godmodding

* Clearly created without having read the info thread

3) All basic roleplay rules/guidelines apply

4)
Every action has consequences! This is very important to keep in mind to surviving Ebondusk.

~~

Last but not least, the actual Character Sheet Skeleton to use when creating your character:

- Name

- Age

- Appearance
(Pictures allowed)

- Personality

- History

- Brains
(Magic)

- Brawn

Everyone's as free as they want to be to pretty up their character sheet, but these sections have to be included in your Character Sheet or you will be killed before you can visit the nearest brothel in Ebondusk!

~~

I'll repeat it one last time, read the rules/guidelines in this thread, or you'll find your experience in Ebondusk shortlived. ;)

Cheers.

Name:
Isaac Azarov

Race: Rhatali

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Personality: He is cold, assertive, preservative, and does not care if you think you do not deserve to die by his hands. But, he is not a man without his morals. Yes, he does kill others if there is a very good reason for that target to die. But he won't flinch just by hearing the snap of the target's neck. He would rather bathe in the blood of the disgraceful than let them run around thinking that they can do what they please without Death's notice.

Aside from this, if you've gotten lucky enough to be on his good side; and if you're still alive at this point, you will realize that he cares for those who are close to him. And betrayal is forbidden in his eyes. Around strangers though, he does tend to act as if he is a kind man, since he believes that he must try to do what he must to hide his secret brethren from any harm.

History: Growing up in Ebondusk was extremely difficult for a child his age at the time. The city was a haven for bad folk, even though one of it's largest factions seek "justice" within their territories. He didn't care too much about how tough they were at the time. He was only a kid, could you really blame him for blocking out the evil in the world?

It came to a point in time when Isaac was only thirteen years old when his father did not pay up the Dead Eyes for protection, since they have lived in their turf at the time. And since he owned a shop there, too. Because he refused to pay them, they figured that sending in one man to teach his family a lesson would do the trick. They sent in one of their top ranking officers to deal with Isaac's dad and his family. The ruthless man killed Isaac's father in cold blood, along with his mother since she tried to defend him. And, upon walking closer to Isaac so that he too will feel the wrath of the Dead Eyes, a shadowy figure approached the officer and stabbed him right in the back, and dragged the dagger's blade up along the officer's spine.

Sadly, the mysterious man did not make it in time to save Isaac's mother and father. But, thankfully, he came just in time to save him. Isaac did not understand why the cloaked man did not kill the little boy and just be off with his day, but he felt happy that he did come. After mourning his mother and father's death, the man held out his hand to help the child up. Isaac, without hesitation, grasped onto the man's hand and followed him to where the man came from. The Catacombs was the mystery man's home, and it was home to many other assassins just like him.

Before they walked in any further, the man made a deal with Isaac. Because he had saved his life from certain death, there is no doubt that Isaac's destiny was to become a member of the Bloodhounds. The man made Isaac promise to be loyal and discrete with the Bloodhounds, and promised that the Catacombs will be his new home. A new home, and a new family. As long as Isaac did not question anyone within the order, then he would able to stay until he has proven worthy of becoming a permanent member of the Bloodhounds.

And thus, Isaac agreed. He fought and endured all the hardships that followed after joining them, and was able to find his place within the secret organization.

Brawn: Being apart of the Bloodhounds isn't as easy as it sounds. It took many years of training to be the assassin Isaac is now. Martial arts was like a key to the gates of survival to him. If someone were to have found him alone at a dark alley to force petty cash from out of him, Isaac will too, be forced to fend for himself. Without having any knowledge about martial arts, he most likely would not have gotten too far. You must truly want to die if you planned on facing him without the courage of facing Death straight in the eye first.

Weaponry: A katana and a few throwing knives. He always keeps an extra knife with him in case something were to happen to his katana. Depending on the mission he takes, he will decide on whether or not he would like to keep his current equipment or change them so that they may fit the situation.

Misc: Because he has to enter into people's homes so that he may place a black rose on their bed, he always brings a lock pick. A bag of them, to be exact. Just in case one breaks. He also has some interest for the deity known as Alakija 'Veritas Obsuras.'

Starting Location: Tent City.

[Alrighty. As always, if there's anything that I need to work on for this here character sheet, I'll be more than happy to do so!]

- Name - Yaktaki

- Race - V’ranni

- Gender - Male

- Age - 21

- Appearance
1082754-bigthumbnail.jpg

- Personality - He is rather free, flowing with the wind as it seems. The world is a game, not to be taken seriously, almost of a man who can't hold his brew. He is self assertive, having un-noticeable self discipline. He does not believe in a peace, and has some remorse for killing, but only because that got in his way and took up his time.

He enjoys his own company, rather silent but no too quiet as well.

- History - Being a child of Ebondusk, he did not grow to love the guilds and wasn't born that way as well. To him, guilds and truces, factions and 'peace', it was all a joke. As a child, he was constantly shown what the people of this place were truly about and what they were after, but only now has come to understand.

His birth was one of normality, both of his parents being local and heavy drinkers at the pub, having no regrets or remorse other then if the coin in there pocket would do for the nights round of drinks. Non the less, his parents did still 'care' for the young child, feeding him pub made meals and practically living in the pub.

There in that pub, he got to grow up and experience things with all these factions, how they were all blind in their own 'special' way. The "Crimson Edge, the most loose term of justice there is. Peace, that's a funny word." The "Dead Eyes, talk about a big group of street bullies." The "Bloodhounds..."

He never quite knew what to think of the Bloodhounds, they were un-honest people, trying to do something somewhat honest. He quite liked this.

Then as if it was destined, the Dead Eyes were looking for his mother and father, who racked up quite a large amount of dept due to the daily gambling and brews. He looked at the men strait in the eyes as they took his parents to the "Good-bye house" as it was called by the drunken men. He didn't cry though. He stood there, and made a promise, one not too fancy, but that did the job for him.

"I'll make sure to flute a song for those men at their funeral."

- Brains - Though he grew up in a more primitive way, he still has a slight bit of the magics of the world flowing through him. No mage or warlock, he has a slight control of the winds, nothing more then causing a slight breeze or swift movement.

- Brawn - Like most of the V’ranni, he is very agile, making up for his fragile structure. He has only trained in technique, since he wields a weapon of precision.

- Weaponry - A very long, sharp edged katana is by his side almost every moment of his life. Having an almost impracticly large sheath, the only draws his weapon if a kill is destined by the winds.

- Misc - I hope made this to your liking :D

- Starting location: Tent City

[Work in Progress, will finish it in a few hours]

- Name: Talhar Gish

- Race: Ukalak: Vision Serpent (Mayan Myth Creature)

- Gender: Male

- Age: 26

- Appearance:

Ffviii-leviathan.jpg

- Personality:

* While Talhar enjoys peace & quit, too much of it makes him feel bored and restless. If he had to choose between a vibrant and lively life with potential danger and a peaceful but quiet life, he'd choose the vibrant life, regardless of the danger associated with it. Being an Ukalak, he has quite a temper and while he rarely starts things, you can be assured he'll end it. Once lost in his emotions, he has alot of difficulty regaining his composure or thinking about the consequences of his actions, which he has worked on during his time at Ebondusk. Mainly because he realized the dangers of that aspect of his personality, in this city.

He's often in for getting to know people and for a jolly good time, and often gives people the benefit of the doubt. But if doubt is cast away and the outcome is negative, he has no issues shunning people from his life. He did it with people dearest to him, even kinsmen, he can do it to anyone. Talhar's view on taking lives, is one of stonecold opinion. Merciless and without losing any sleep over it, but only taking everything from someone if it was necessary according to him. He doesn't do it for fun, but truth be told, he doesn't care much either way. The only reason he only does it when he deems it necessary, is because he doesn't feel any pleasure (or otherwise) in killing someone.

His time outside the tribe and in Ebondusk has formed and sculped him quite a bit, he matured, in a way. He especially enjoys the Crimson Edge's view on things and their desire to bring some sort of constructed 'peace' in all this anarchy and chaos. His interaction with the Crimson Edge so far has usually been positive to the point of contemplating joining their ranks.

That is, if all goes as planned.

-- Vision Serpent Soul's personality:

Very quiet and stoic, much like a wise old man, he only speaks when necessary. But when he does, it has impact.

- History:

* To be added soon

- Brains (Magic):

* In humanoid form, Talhar has no magic skills, at all.

* In Vision Serpent form (Complete or partial), Talhar gains the following arcane arts:

Oracle's Lens:

The ability to see the past and future of anyone who's not able to block or break the link between him/her and the Vision Serpent. These visions come in fragments and the longer the link is established, the more coherent these fragments become. This takes time, stability and a willing or forced target (Which can be anyone besides himself). If the target is forced, it takes more time and a mentally strong target can block or break the link.

Mindwarp:

This magical skill is basicly an arcane illusionary skill which toys with the targets mind and sensors. Making him believe the illusions he feels, hears, smells and even 'touches'. The more complex the illusion, the shorter the duration and increased difficulty to uphold it. The Vision Serpent is able to move and act during the illusion but not kill the target as he would die too if the link is cut in that manner.

- Brawn (Martial):

* In Vision Serpent form, Talhar has very weak martial abilities and focuses much more on arcana arts.

* In humanoid form, Talhar's martial prowess lies in his ferocity and unique martial arts:

Unarmed 'Viper Palm' Arts:

Talhar uses his lean, flexible build and speed granted to him by experience/training/Ukalak heritage to deadly effect as he targets pressure points and weak spots of the enemy's body, while dodging and weaving through attacks of the enemy.

This martial arts is highly effective in one-on-one combat but (heavy) armor or protection completely negates this martial arts and renders it very useless.

Armed 'Coiling Blade' Arts:

Using his unique blade to maximum effect, he mastered his blade and can use its features at will, often changing its length to confuse his enemy, making him unpredictable to fight against. In addition to this everchanging attacking manner, he uses his speed and flexibility to launch constant barrages onto his enemy until he submits.

This arts is very offensive-based and apart from keeping the pressure on his enemy, the only real defense Talhar has is his dodging skill and reaction speed. Also, his blade is primarily a slashing weapon, and not particularly sharper or stronger than any other blade, therefor he needs to be wary of heavily armored opponents.

- Weaponry:

* Has an unusual katana, the blade is retractable and while not flexible, can extend and retract at will. The katana is nicknamed 'Coil' and while not especially more durable or sharp than other blades, its unique feature gives it quite a high value compared to other katanas.

* A fairly useless and primarily decorative suit of armor, it's made of hardened leather covering soft silk fabric and barely protects anything. His shoulders, waist and head are slightly protected but any respectable weapon can slash/pierce/clobber through its meager protection.

- Misc:

* Has a special synchronization with serpents of all kinds. Talhar is able to communicate with them and he's immune to any and all snake poison.

* He even has a pet snake, Ss'lanesh, quite thin and about 2 feet long; This oceanblue serpent is never far away from Talhar and is capable of inflicting a non-lethal temporary paralysis poison to the one he bites. This poison is dispersed in its entirety upon infliction and regenerates at a weekly rate.

* As an Ukalak, his tracking skills are off the charts and he can often trace his target if he has any lead from even a day after his target passed through.

- Starting location:

* Tent City

- Name: Cedis Sarvos

- Race: Shiq

- Gender: Male

- Age: 30

- Appearance: Cedis isn't especially tall for a Shiq, standing at about 6'4". He has dark hair, a bit longer than shoulder length, which is typically tied back. His eyes are a light blue, and he has a fairly noble profile. He isn't especially handsome, but no one would consider him ugly. He has fairly delicate features, with thin lips and a thin-bridged nose. Like all Shiqs, he has golden skin and webbed hands and feet. Cedis has a series of tattoos on his back and arms, which are they're mostly for show, though he claims some have magical properties; this is debatable.

- Personality: Cedis is fairly proper and snobbish, having the mindset that most Shiqs have when it comes to other races. He certainly isn't against slavery, and his morals are, unsurprisingly, questionable. He isn't afraid to talk big, but when confronted, he can be quite cowardly. Cedis can't take a blow to his pride properly, and his fits of drinking and angry outbursts will become familiar to anyone who knows him for very long. He's an impulsive liar, as well, and it's easy for him to become addicted to things; namely gambling, drinking and visiting brothels. Cedis is also quite picky when it comes to many things, believing that he only deserves the best. He's quite clever, though his intelligence is limited in some regards.

- History: Cedis was raised in a wealthy family, which owned many slaves. Constantly being told he deserved only the best, and that he was allowed to push around whoever he wanted, he grew up being quite spoiled, and ended up being very entitled. He became a slave driver, moving his business throughout the country, until he eventually settled into Ebondusk. He sold various goods that he came across, as well, and for the first year or so that he lived there, he was doing quite well for himself. He soon became familiar with the many pleasures of Ebondusk, however, soon using a large portion of his money to fuel his many 'hobbies'. Of course, this led to him managing his money poorly, and he was soon driven to bankruptcy. Against his will, he sold his home, taking what little money he had left and moving into Tent City, now trying to pull his life together. He's been unable to speak to his family again, out of shame more than anything.

- Brains: Like every Shiq, Cedis is skilled in the arcane arts. Though he isn't especially powerful, he's capable of moving and controlling objects, and is able to very slightly alter the emotions of others. The latter ability mostly consists of being able to make someone feel inexplicably sad, or angry, or happy, etc., to a certain degree.

- Brawn: He's not very physically developed, though he's somewhat skilled with swords, as he grew up learning fencing. Other than that, he almost completely relies on his magic.

- Weaponry: He almost always has a sword on him, as well as a dagger.

- Misc: He isn't a part of any faction, though he tries to get on the good side of all of them, especially the Dead Eyes and the Bloodhounds.

- Starting location: Tent City

Name

Eltra Cronv

- Race

Shiq

- Gender

Female

- Age

19

- Appearance (Pictures allowed)

Eltra has shiny black hair which is just over shoulder length. She is already just over 6'6" and her eyes are a dark deep blue. She is fairly thin and her bones show through her skin even though she isn't underweight. She has the normal Shiq traits, golden skin and webbed hands and feet. Eltra is considered odd in that she has no tattoos on her body. She has a single scar over her left eye which is very obvious, she refuses to say how she got it though. She has a long neck which she hates but others say suits her.

- Personality

Eltra has always been quite a quiet person and has never been great at making friends, she is quite ruthless and has never treated any slaves she has well. Although she is quiet she still has a superior attitude, you can see it in the way she walks. She has always been quite well behaved, hardly drinking or gambling. She has always tried to focus on developing her magical powers.

- History

Eltra remembers nothing about her childhood, all she remembers is that she had few friends and was always horrible to the other races, as they deserve. The first day she remembers was at around 10 years old when her parents explained the factions to her, she was happy that she was in what she considered the best one, filled with assassins. Eltra had begun practising magic at around this age too, being told it will be helpful eventually. There were only a couple of years between her learning about the factions and the divine. This confused her to no end which she hated as she liked thinking through things logically, how could she be a bloodhound and this new Anno thing. She remembered that the factions didn't mix and her parents had to tell her many times that the Anno weren't a faction. She enjoyed life in the catacombs, even more so after learning about the special type of magic she must learn as an Anno. It was a good challenge. Nothing much happened until the day before today, Eltra gave in to temptation and went to the bar, she would only have one drink, that's the last thing she remembers.

- Brains (Magic)

Even for a Shiq, Eltra is great at magic, she enjoys it lots and has practised it for as long as she can remember, she is very strong at it and uses it whenever she can. She loves nature even though she isn't very peaceful so she tries to harness power from it.
- Brawn (Martial)

Eltra can't use close handed combat weapons very well but can very accurately punch to just the correct place to kill a person. Her brawn is mainly non existent but if she is given a bow she can use it accurately although she would only willingly do that if she had exhausted herself by doing too much magic.
- Weaponry

Two small daggers, one is coated in a layer of poison so that the victim of her attack will die quickly. The second is just a normal dagger, this one is used when either Eltra for some reason doesn't want her victim to door or if she wants them to die slowly and painfully

- Misc

Eltra is both a bloodhound and an Anno.

- Personality

Glineth is very vain, a sophisticated egoist, though she is not snobby and does not brag. She appears as very quiet, but her mind is always ticking. She chooses to hide and observe, but when there is something to gain, Glineth is ready to move into action.

She walks around with a very carefully constructed facade - wide open eyes and a constant smirk, which nearly never breaks, thus she comes off, at first, as kind, but often gives a snarky comment.

Glineth is a perfectionist and a clean freak. She detests filth and chaos, so she makes sure her surroundings are perfectly organised. Glineth is also extremely critical not only towards others, but also towards herself, that's why every single action she takes has been carefully planned out in her head.

- History

Will be added soon

- Brains (Magic)

Glineth was not naturally gifted in magic, thus all her skills have been earned through trial and error. She knows a few spells and understands the theory behind most magic, but her strongest point is alchemy.

Spells

Stoneskin -

Once cast, Glineth is able to protect herself by covering her entire body in an aura which is as hard as stone. It is not impenetrable, but also does not break easily. For example, if Glineth is stabbed, she will suffer some damage, but it will be significantly reduced. It also depends on the force and skill of her oppenent.

Firestorm -

Glineth is able to cast fire. She may use it in combat, but mostly uses it in smaller concentration for everyday uses, such as cooking, heating etc. Larger fires cost her more energy, thus she only uses it in emergencies and tight spots.

Blessing of Health -

Right now, Glineth can heal herself from gashes, internal bleeding and, depending on the spot, broken bones. Though, others she can only heal at a much slower pace and it only extends as far as deep gashes.

Thunderbolt -

This spell is a work in process for Glineth. The idea is to shoot a strong lightning bolt, but Glineth is unable to control it. It takes a lot of energy, so she merely experiments and practices with it.

Alchemy

Glineth is knowledgeable of mixing various potions, but she has found that withing Ebondusk most people come asking for poisons.

- Brawn (Martial)

As she does not care for martial arts, Glineth is absolutely useless when it comes to physical strength. She can, though, successfully hit a target by throwing a dagger or knife. It's a skill she acquired throughout her years out of boredom.

- Weaponry

5 steel daggers, that she carries around in case she ends up in a desperate situation, but mostly relies on her magic.

- Misc

Added soon

I'll just crawl my way in and put a small reservation here, darling Carlea. Though, it does feel weird wondering if my character is acceptable... But I'll shrug it off and shemurr like the awesome-sauce person I am.

- Personality-Mercenary, freelancer, and a sword for hire are just some of the many titles Athos has held. Owing no loyalty to anyone unless he can profit or he trusts them enough not to stab him in the back.Though he is a mercenary he does have a certain sense of honor and while working to further himself if he truly disagrees with something no amount of gold can sway him. Once he's been employed however he is fiercely loyal until his services are no longer needed. Athos is a fairly likeable guy a trait he has honed until he could talk his way out of almost any situation, it is also very useful when he is trying to come by employment.

- History-Never having known his mother or father Athos had been an orphan for as long as he could remember. The lady who ran the orphanage at the time was an old hag by the name of Grenda who made his life as well as the lives of the other orphans a living hell. On day an armed man walked into the orphanage and asked for the old hag. Athos had lead him to Grenda's room which doubled as her office. Through the half cracked door Athos watched as the stranger put three arrows into the hags chest. When Athos had tried to thank him the man had simply shook his head and said. "Wasn't for you kid it was for the coin". While it may have not been the best lesson for a ten year old to learn Athos learned to always further himself and if he did a good deed so be it. When he was fourteen Athos joined a group of paladins. After five years of training and upon deciding that a life dedicated to a minor(and fairly unknown) god wasn't the path he wanted to tread he left the paladin order (taking a few rather valuable items with him). After that he roamed moving from town to town and from job to job. He'd been a fairly successful mercenary though through a series of mistakes and much alcohol he found himself without a penny to his name and unemployed. Athos came to Ebondusk seeking work but thus far has not been successful.

- Brains - Through his training with the paladins Athos did learn some magic but was never as skilled at the art as he was with fighting.

Blinding Light- Athos can't keep this spell going for a long duration but his hand emits pure white light shielding him from view.

Minor Healing-Like all paladins Athos has the ability to heal though he is better at inflicting wounds rather than healing them.

- Brawn- Athos has always excelled at sword play and put the senior paladins to shame with his display of skill. Athos is also in almost prefect physical condition only adding to his prowess as a warrior.

- Weaponry-Athos uses a reinforced rapier and a dirk.

- Misc- He isn't a part of any faction but he admires the Crimson Edge though he'd be whiling to take a job from any of the three factions as well as private contractors so long as they have enough coin.
