She has a fair complexion, with a dark chestnut colored hair which she typically keeps braided into nice neat locks. she has a few freckles on her cheeks giving her smiles a sense of vitality, giving her hazel eyes a glow of kindness.

Racial Abilities: Contrary to her husband's runecrafting abilities, Dyla is an exceptional linguist with the old tongue and her runecrafting. She is also an exceptional survivalist from her years spent in the wilds of The Underheart foothills.

History: Dyla was born in the foothills of The Underheart mountains. She never knew the life of a mountain dwarf, as had her parents and her grandparents. She was the only daughter to a family of dwarven farmers that were part of a small community of surface dwarves. Though they did not belong to a specific clan, the small community considered themselves to be small clan and lived in peace under the shadow of the mountain for many years.

Dyla's family grew their own crops, had a few livestock for milk and meat, and even made their own clothing. It was a simple life, and Dyla grew up in a loving environment that helped mold her into a kind hearted young woman. Because of this kindness, she was the recipient of a young dwarf male who appeared in the forest one day while she was collecting toadstools. The young dwarf, on death's doorstep from wounds inflicted by blade and boot, would have died in the woods had Dyla not stitched his wounds and retrieved help from the village to get him to safety.

Upon the dwarf's recovery, he revealed that his name was Thumon and he had been banished from the mountain for reasons he would not speak of. Stipped of his clan title, Thumon was eternally grateful to the young dwarven woman, who instantly was taken with him for his strong will and honesty. He had nowhere to go, so when he was healed enough to walk, he was offered a place within the community to build a home and live away from the mountain. He gratefully accepted the offer, if not for the soul reason that he too had been taken by his rescuers beauty and kindness.

The two spent a lot of time together, when Dyla would recieve studies from the elder of the village in the old tongue and its use in Runecrafter, Thumon was not far off waiting for her. He built a home on the edge of the village and had taken up a small forge to make tools and repair farming equipment for those in the village. Dyla would visit his forge quite often and soon, the two were betrothed to one another with hopes of having a small farm and forge with little dwarves running around.

The dream was placed on hold when new came from the mountains of a war brewing between the clans. The Fold and Lopt called for aid, and a tug of pain for his kin within the mountains called to Thumon to aid them. Dyla would not let her love go to war to be slaughtered and her never know, so against many protest from her family and Thumon, she followed him into the mountains to help in any way she could. She tended to his armor, scrying runes upon them to keep him safe and being there upon returning from battle. While Thumon fought, she helped bolster the other runecrafters and  the forces that returned with their armor and weapons as well. Thumon soon took leadership over small forces for his victories and strategic battle plans, with Dyla taking lead over the Runecrafting forces that grew as victories were won.

When word reached the camps that Thumon and his forces had overthrone Gostok and his forces, Thumon was elected to become king under the mountain and help rebuild the clans and the kingdom. Many of the clan leaders wished for Thumon to take their daughters, hoping to gain favoritism with the newly appointed king. But Thumon would not take any of them. To retain fairness within the clans, and because he loved her more than any gold or gem, he and Dyla were wed, making her the first dwarven queen in The Underheart kingdom.
