Dusk Decay

AkioTheHero

The Twenty-Fifth Roleplayer
A world can never be more peaceful. So peaceful that, to some, it's almost boring. The same sky, sunrise, and people, save the occasional traveler who passes by. No matter how uninteresting it may seem to some, no one can argue the fact that this world is amazing as it is. No sane people that is.

A group of cultists refer to themselves as the Dusk Decay Association. They worship one of the 2 gods who has reign over this peaceful world, Nyeses the god of Dusk, who opposes the Goddess of Dawn, Ione.

A legend passed down from parent to child to grandchild, one no one ever forgets, for they live in fear that their peaceful, monotonous world will soon be changed to a gruesome battle field of the two gods is also one that no one ever wishes to forget.

In a limbo of nothingness, 2 deities sat and watched. They grew tired of the vast nothingness, so they both combined their powers. Ione, the Goddess of Dawk and Nyeses, the God of Dusk, to create the world you and I live in today. Ione gave the world light and warmth to play and work in, whereas Nyeses gave the world serene nighttime to rest in. Both entities soon began to bicker. Ione believes her dawn was most necessary for the humans, where Nyeses believed time to rest was vital. The Gods warred for a millennium, killing off the humans on the Earth as they sided with the one they agreed with, but eventually, all the humans were killed, the gods were left to fight among themselves, until eventually their opposing powers negated each other, and both were locked away forever in a ruin, hidden deep underground, in the form of orb-shaped relics, however both entity's spite for each other never died. Humans began to repopulate on this world, and soon, the relics where lost forever. The legend of the God's war resulted in a dualistic society, where many people disagreed which side was right, although it never escalated to war.

Dusk Decay, however, grows uninterested of the peaceful debates. They intend to awaken both of the entities, and have whoever sided with Ione or Nyeses take to arms and fight for their respective deity in a bloody war that will surely dye the world scarlet.
